"There are mutated plants growing around the base. Have you guys noticed them?" Chu Miao asked while looking around to see if anyone else had noticed the same thing she had.

"I think mutated plants are common now. We had to clear all the vegetation in the base for fear of them attacking the people.

But why would you ask about that?" Yu Wane’r asked while fidgeting in her seat.

She wanted to sit next to Chu Miao and share what she had done the previous day when she was training and fighting more than twenty zombies alone. But it seemed that Ye Xuan would not give her that opportunity.

Once the zombies disappeared underground, the soil moved back into place and the plant shrank again.

Others opened up like nether black holes and swallowed the zombies before shrinking again and going back to normal.

In this way, all the zombies that came close were all eliminated before the soldiers doing patrol even noticed them.

But what I realized was different with these plants was that they only attacked zombies and behaved like regular plants when the soldiers walked by.

I was hoping we could do an experiment by capturing some zombies and dropping them among those plants to see if the same thing will happen."

As Chu Miao explained, the people in the room had their jaws almost dropping to the ground.

This wasn’t something anyone else had witnessed and it was too shocking to believe.

We have no idea when those zombies will attack, so it’s best to prepare earlier.

If there is something else that needs to be prepared, that should be put on the agenda too." Commander Shen, the other high-ranking leader in the room suggested as well.

The beautiful middle-aged woman was also in the room.

She had come in earlier while they were talking and also offered to help with organizing the materials used for the construction.
