Apocalypse with my SSS Harem Beauties-Chapter 77: Cleaved
On the other side of the battlefield, chaos also happened in the same brutal fashion.
The bone titan’s rib-mace arms slammed down with thunderous force, shattering the ground into splinters of stone and bone dust. The impacts sent shockwaves through the dark earth and bone spires and stones, forcing Victor’s group to scatter wide or be crushed flat.
Victor darted forward with surprising agility, his eyes sharp and focused despite the storm around him.
He slashed the titan’s legs then vaulted up the titan’s arm, his green-veined cleaver glowing faintly as if alive just like Myles’s red-veined Fangblade.
With a grunt, he swung it down, the weapon enhancing his raw power far beyond his limits.
BOOM!
The blow detonated across the titan’s forearm, sending cracks spiderwebbing through the white and rotten surface.
A sickly green glow seeped into Victor’s body.
Victor keeps attacking.
Everytime the cleaver lands a hit it will add 3% of attack speed and 2% damage and it can be stacked to 15 times. So Victor intended to not stop attacking to not reset it.
From below, Ethan’s eyes burned with determination. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
He thrust his makeshift spear into one of the fissures Victor had opened, putting all his weight behind the strike.
The tip sank deeper than he expected, splitting through rotten marrow and brittle bone.
He gasped in exhilaration. His strength was far beyond what it had been before. Leveling up had turned him from weak survivor into a fighter who could wound a monster. He really had become a superhuman right now!
A grin spread across his face, pride swelling in his chest.
However, that single heartbeat of marveling at his new strength almost cost him his live.
The titan’s massive arm swept sideways in a bludgeoning motion meant to erase everything in its path.
Ethan froze in its looming shadow.
Fortunately, At the last second, George lunged in, grabbing Ethan and shoving him clear.
But George was too slow to escape back fully.
The rib-mace clipped him with brutal force.
A sickening crack echoed as George’s ribs broke.
He was hurled backward, coughing blood that splattered across the broken ground. His knees buckled, his face twisted in agony as he struggled to breathe.
"George!" Ethan’s voice broke into panic and guilt ripping through him.
His body shook as he realized his recklessness had nearly cost his comrade’s life.
The titan’s shadow loomed again, ready to crush them both.
But Ethan’s fear twisted into rage. His hands clenched tighter around the weapon, and his entire body surged with determination.
"HAAAA!!!"
With a roar that tore his throat, Ethan threw himself forward.
He stabbed again and again, his makeshift spear hammering into the titan’s cracked leg with wild ferocity.
Splinters of bone flew with every thrust. His arms screamed in pain, but he did not stop.
His attack grew faster and harder, blood from his blistered palms slicking the shaft of his weapon.
He carved into the fissures Victor had left, widening them with sheer brute will.
His panic turned to wrath, then his wrath turned to strength.
The titan staggered for a moment under the storm of blows from Victor and Ethan.
But its hollow sockets glowed brighter, and the shrieks of skulls within its chest rattled the air.
The titan roared as its rib-mace arm moved toward Ethan on the ground.
"Ethan, dodge!" Victor’s voice cut through the chaos.
Ethan’s looking up and fortunately, his body moved before his mind did. He rolled sideways across the dark earth.
The titan’s mace arm obliterated the ground where he had stood, leaving a crater filled with splintered bones.
His chest heaved, relief mingling with the pounding rhythm of his heart.
Above, Victor seized the opening.
He launched himself from the titan’s shoulder, cleaver blazing with a viridian light.
His teeth clenched as MP surged through his body, funneling into the weapon. In an instant he had consumed 30 MP.
"Cleave Rend!"
The cleaver tore through the air with a sickening hiss. A green crescent of energy ripped downward, smashing into the titan’s arm joint.
The wave of power clung to the bone and corroding its surface as if stripping away its natural armor.
The titan staggered as if feeling the pain. Its dark blue glow sputters for an instant.
Victor was still on his way in falling down. His muscles burned, the rising speed and strength from his cleaver’s passive stacked high.
With a savage yell, he drove the glowing edge of the weapon into the weakened joint.
CRACK!
The cleaver dug deep, splitting marrow and shattering rotten seams of bone.
The titan writhed, shaking violently as if to hurl him off.
But Victor locked his stance, every fiber in his arms straining.
"RRRRAAAGH!"
With one final, all-out slam, Victor’s cleaver cleaved through completely and cut the bone.
The sound of splitting bone thundered across the battlefield as the rib-mace arm tore free from its socket.
The massive limb crashed down, quaking the ground as dust exploded outward.
The titan let out a ghastly bellow. Is chest of fused skulls screaming in maddened unison.
Ethan scrambled to his feet with shocked flashing in his eyes as he stared at Victor standing beneath the monster.
The severed arm lay beside him like a fallen tower, proof of strength that only moments ago seemed impossible.
Victor, however, was panting hard. Sweat streamed down his temples. The cleaver’s veins pulsed wildly after greedily drinking his MP and vitality in exchange for its devastating effect a second before.
He staggered, but his grin widened because he had crippled the monster.
But the titan wasn’t done. Its remaining arm swung with brutal speed, forcing Ethan and Victor to leap apart.
The earth shattered again, bone fragments flying like shrapnel.
And then, with its glowing sockets blazing, the titan bent low, dragging its fractured frame forward.
Even with a limb lost, its anger now surged higher, shaking the battlefield with every unsteady step.
Ethan swallowed his saliva and looked back at George and found him already stood up even though with a grimace.
"I can still move," George said.
