Amidst the chaos, Chen Pingchuan and his two companions continued their journey unhurriedly. This time, he was not without purpose; he followed his intuition, constantly moving in different directions. Perhaps realizing their pace was too slow, Chen Pingchuan waved his hand and once again summoned the Space Teleportation Gate.

"Let's go," Chen Pingchuan said softly. For reasons unknown, ever since he had become a god, his human emotions had grown increasingly faint.

Nightingale and Yang Jian followed closely behind, stepping into the portal.

The next moment, they appeared in Hantan City of the Southern Alliance. The city had already been reduced to ruins. Since the giant Corpse Worms that destroyed it had been taken away by Chen Pingchuan, sporadic survivors had begun to appear, struggling to find supplies amidst the rubble to survive the days ahead.

But Chen Pingchuan paid them no heed. His eyes swept coldly over the survivors as he walked straight toward the city center. Nightingale and Yang Jian exchanged a puzzled glance but followed silently.

Eventually, they arrived at the Southern Alliance Central Bank in the heart of the city. Miraculously, the bank's building had remained mostly intact during the disaster, though its doors were tightly shut, and an aura of deathly stillness pervaded the air. Chen Pingchuan looked at the entrance, his lips curling into an inscrutable smile. He raised his hand and waved it gently. An invisible force blasted the entrance, shattering the sturdy doors into countless splinters.

The three of them entered the bank's interior. It was pitch-dark, with only a sliver of light seeping in from the shattered entryway. The faint light revealed that the furniture in the hall had been utterly destroyed and scattered about in disarray. Chen Pingchuan didn't pause for a moment, moving as if he knew the layout by heart, and walked straight toward the bank's vault.

The vault door was as thick and solid as he remembered. However, for the current Chen Pingchuan, such defenses were useless.

With a gentle wave of his hands, beams of light shot forth, striking the vault door with pinpoint precision. The massive door instantly broke into pieces, revealing the Federation Coin, advanced tech weapons, energy crystals, and other items stored inside.

"Wait, you brought us all the way here just for this?" Yang Jian couldn't help but ask.

He simply couldn't understand why Chen Pingchuan, who was now a god, would waste precious time on such meager profits. Indeed, while these items were valuable, they were of little use in Yang Jian's eyes. For powerhouses like them, such things were easily obtainable and not worth wasting time on.

Chen Pingchuan didn't answer. He simply walked into the vault and began collecting the treasures and rare items into his Space Ring. His movements were quick and skillful, as if this were all part of his plan.

Just then, a commotion of footsteps and shouts erupted from outside. It seemed the nearby survivors had heard the noise from the bank and were rushing over.

"Damn it, someone broke into the bank!"

"Brothers, get your weapons ready!"

Because Chen Pingchuan hadn't come to the Central Bank this time, Ren Qiang and his men had miraculously survived and even retained some of their effective forces. Cautiously, Ren Qiang led his men into the bank. When they saw Chen Pingchuan and his companions, a complex mix of emotions filled their eyes: surprise, anger, and a hint of fear.

This was mainly because their outfits were so peculiar: a mysterious person in full-body Mecha, a woman in a high-level combat suit, and a lavishly dressed young man. The three stood together, their contrasting attire creating a strong visual impact.

"Who are you? What are you doing here? Did you rob the vault? I suggest you put everything back where you found it, or else..."

Before Ren Qiang could speak, a middle-aged man with an air of authority stepped forward and shouted threats at the group. He was the hall manager of the Southern Alliance's Central Bank in Hantan City.

Chen Pingchuan glanced indifferently at the group of survivors. It was only when his eyes landed on Ren Qiang that a flicker of emotion showed.

His lips parted. "Long time no see."

Ren Qiang was stunned by his words. He racked his brain but was certain he had never met this man before. Just as he was about to try and probe Chen Pingchuan's background, the middle-aged manager, shaking with rage at being ignored, finally exploded. No longer caring about Chen Pingchuan's origins, he bellowed, "Attack! Kill these looters!"

Ren Qiang tried to stop him, but it was too late. Upon hearing the command, the other bank guards instinctively raised their weapons.

One second. Just one second passed.

Chen Pingchuan's eyes turned icy. He raised his hand and waved it gently, releasing an invisible and powerful force that swept out like a surging tide. The bank guards wielding their weapons, along with the middle-aged manager, felt as if they were seized by an invisible giant hand. They were instantly crushed into a mist of blood.

Seeing the gory scene before him, Ren Qiang's voice trembled as fear spread through his heart, but he still forced himself to maintain his composure. "You... Who in the world are you?"

Chen Pingchuan did not respond.

"You should leave this place quickly," Chen Pingchuan said cryptically. "If you delay, it will be too late."

Nightingale and Yang Jian stood silently to the side, watching it all unfold. Nightingale frowned slightly. She felt a pang of pity, but she knew the Chen Pingchuan of today was not the man he used to be. Her words would likely have no effect.

Ren Qiang gritted his teeth, his heart filled with bitter unwillingness. He stared at the hovering crimson mist and made a silent vow. One day, he would become strong enough to avenge his colleagues and his nephew.

Just then, the roar of engines grew louder from outside, as if a large convoy of vehicles was rushing toward the bank.

"It's the Southern Alliance's reinforcements!" Ren Qiang's face lit up with joy. If he wasn't mistaken, these were his own people. After all, he had received orders that someone would be coming to retrieve these supplies. He just hadn't expected them to arrive so quickly.

Ren Qiang cautiously stole a glance at Chen Pingchuan, only to find his expression completely unchanged. The joy in his heart instantly grew heavy.

Is he truly unafraid, or is he simply unaware? Or perhaps he just doesn't care?

Each question carried a different implication, but Ren Qiang wouldn't have to wonder for long. The special envoy dispatched by the Southern Alliance was, remarkably, a member of the Royal Family under the Blood Beast Ban. A Lion-man Leader, standing over three meters tall with long, golden hair and eyes as sharp as a lion's, was the first to stride into the bank vault. His presence reeked of arrogance, as if he were stepping into some rural backwater.
