Apocalyse: Marked by Chaos-Chapter 16 - Bound by Deception
Chapter 16: Chapter 16 Bound by Deception
Meanwhile somewhere in the Academy.
The door suddenly burst open, ragged gasps filled the room, a body slowly walked inside, its steps were a bit unnatural.
His hands reached up, pulling his shirt over his head. His bare skin glistened with sweat, a painful groan escaped from his mouth.
He made it to his bed, his chest heaving up and down. His gaze fixated on the two small bite marks on his arms.
His body was burning hot, pain resonating all over him.
Soon his gaze turned blurry, his body felt like it was submerged in molten lava.
"What the hell bit me?" He muttered, as he slid to the ground. He removed his shoe. He gazed at the ceiling before everything became dark.
......
Dawn broke reluctantly, casting a dim glow across the room. Olivia's gaze flickers now and then at the clock. " Why are you so slow?" her eyes flickered back to Little White, lying beside her on the bed.
His body was shimmering with white energy, although it was faint, it didn't reassure Olivia that this is a good sign. She believed he was losing his essence.
Olivia's eyes became red again, although little white had been annoying sometimes, but he was the only one who had been with during all this time, the little hope she had, he had saved her.
A tear dropped from her eyes, she swiftly wiped it off, she checked her time again, and it was time.

She carefully cradled Little White in her pocket, got dressed quickly, and slipped out of the door. Her steps halted.
" Are you leaving now? Isn't it too early?" Emma's hoarse voice stopped her.
Olivia didn't want to answer her, but " It is not too early" she replied, not wasting any more time, she locked the door behind her.
As she walked towards the Academy training camp, her mind drifted to last night's event. The Academy isn't what it seems, if they are this corrupt what is the point of hanging the plaque on the entrance.
She took a deep breath, the blue pills given to every student came from the monsters. But why? What was their real purpose?
Her mind buzzed with thoughts. She sighed, ' I will figure it out... later'. The most important thing right now is to save Little White.
She stood at the entrance of the training camp, her calculative gaze planning on what to do next. Before she could take a step further, a hand suddenly pulled her back.
Her heart skipped a beat, had she been caught? She turned to look at the person, her eyes widened in surprise and embarrassment.
" Klaus Reyes."
Her brows furrowed. He looked pale... a complete mess.
" What did you do to me?"
"Nothing."
" Last night, something bit me, it has made my night a living hell." Klaus said, his eyes burning with anger.
" I have no idea what you are talking about." Olivia denied.
Klaus took a deep breath , " So how are you going to thank me for last night, I saved your ass." His eyes held a playful glint.
Olivia's eyes darted to the training camp, she was becoming anxious " Thank you for saving me, but can you let go of me now, I have important things to do."
Klaus' eyes darted to the training camp " I'm afraid I can't right now, a word of thanks, is not what I need." A smirk tugged on his lips.
Olivia tried to pull her hand from his grip, but all her efforts failed. " You kissed me last night, so I don't need to say thank you anymore." She barked at him.
He moved closer to her " Feisty, that's exactly how I like it." His eyes flickered with unexplainable excitement.
"Let go."
Her eyes flickered back to the training camp. If she missed this chance, she wouldn't be able to save Little White. She felt cold shivers running down her spine at the thought.
" No, what are you planning to do this time around?"
" Nothing, what do you want from me?"
" Oh that is very simple." His eyes sparkled. " Be my girlfriend."
"What?" Question marks formed around Olivia's head before they popped, disappearing.
" Yes, that's what I want."
Olivia's gaze scrutinised him, she always felt an unsettling aura around him. He is not to be trusted, and she had planned to stay away from him. Being his girlfriend is a suicide mission.
" If you waste more time, I'm afraid you won't be able to get what you want." He nodded at the training camp.
" You are not going to ask me why I'm going there, and what I saw last night?."
Klaus' eyes darkened a little " No, that's your business. When you are in trouble I will be the hero to save the day. Now give me an answer?"
Olivia became irritated. She did not believe him. But if she says no, he won't let her off. 'F**k this.'
"No." Her voice was firm, but inside, her chest tightened. The idea of being trapped in klaus' twisted game made her stomach churn. Did she even have a choice?
"Then, we can spend all day here, I doubt you have that time." Klaus hinted at her anxiousness.
Olivia's throat tightened. Little white didn't have much time. It seems like she really doesn't have any other choice.
" I will only agree, if you promise you can't touch me without my consent." She closed her eyes as she uttered the word.
"Fine, I agree." Klaus' voice was smooth, assured.
Olivia's breath hitched." The answer is yes." She stated.
Her fingers curled into a fist at her sides, nails biting into her palm. She hated this. Every fiber of her being rejected it, but she had no choice
'I will only agree for now, I will break up with him after I save Little White, he is more important for now. That's it, I won't be controlled by anyone.'
Little White curled tighter in her pocket, his little heart felt like it was crushed by a rock.
Klaus' fingers tapped lazily against his thigh, his eyes glinting with satisfaction, as though he had just secured a winning piece in a game of chess.
" Do you need help?"
"No, I will be fine on my own." She rubbed the place he held.
" Your lips... they are softer than I expected." His eyes lingered on her lips.
Olivia rolled her eyes inwardly at him. 'Go to hell, you son of a b***h.'
She ignored him. She sneaked into the training camp.
Klaus' once excited eyes became cold and distant. " First step, done." He turned around and walked to the academy.
Olivia managed to sneak into the suiting room. She took a gun and a twin blade again, for some weird reason she believed it would protect her.
She sneaked outside, her gaze lingered on the van they were going to use.
She saw the students who were going to the monster's domain, all listening to a teacher's speech.
She made use of their distraction, she crawled towards the van, she hid underneath it. The smell of oil and diesel invaded her nostrils.
She heard the noise of the students boarding the van, her heart pounded in her ears.
She clung to the van. The rumble of the van started, she could feel the heat from the engine, her hand slipped, she struggled to hold on.
