Chapter 47: It’s everything else... *

•••

Neither Caius nor Arlette had any real idea of how long they spent fucking.

When they left the bed with the sheets covered in the moistness of their fluids and entered Arlette’s bathroom, Caius did notice the slight darkening of the day. It didn’t quite seem like afternoon anymore.

He was aware that school was long over now. His storage ring had been flashing in alert for a while now as his Family’s Estate guards were calling him so they could take him home. It became so annoyingly distracting that he’d taken the ring off his finger and tossed it on a large table in Arlette’s room where it still flashed.

For a second, he wondered how much longer he had before the guards organized search parties and began to alert the Academy staff that their Young Lord was missing. And then he saw Arlette’s hips swaying ahead of him before she waded into the water of her giant bath and all that left his mind as the blood seemed to flow away from his brain and into his cock.

Caius joined her in the water and could already feel its magical properties washing him clean. Even to the insides of his mouth. Every piece of dirt on him was getting disintegrated. He wasn’t new to such, of course. It was just worth noting how he and Arlette seemed not to be cleaning off to end their passionate session but rather seemed to be getting ready to start back up again.

Arlette must have felt him watching her because she glanced over at him and when their eyes met, she smiled and dove deeper underwater causing her black hair to float on the bath surface and fan around the top of her head before she rose and brushed it away from her face with her arms in a pose on her head that reminded Caius of swimsuit models in his previous world/life.

By the time she was dropping her arms, causing her breasts to wobble enchantingly, Caius was already there, his arms wrapped around her waist.

Arlette chuckled.

"Are you planning to stay here all night with me?" She asked and Caius could detect some earnestness in that question despite the jest in her tone.

"Maybe," Caius said and was already slipping back inside her.

Arlette raised her legs and wrapped them around him as their lips pressed together in a kiss.

Past the bathroom door and in Arlette’s room, Caius’ storage ring continued to flash while he continued to lose track of time to indulge in Arlette’s body as many times as he could.

Eventually, though, he had to find his sense of responsibility and stop.

"You’re leaving?" Arlette asked as Caius snapped on the buckle of his uniform pants and pulled his shirt off the ground.

Caius looked back at and saw she was laid face-down on her bed, moving from side to side and sometimes arching in a way that places her ass in a prominent view like she was tempting Caius back into bed.

He laughed as he slipped his flashing storage ring back onto his finger.

"I’m surprised you’re trying to keep me here. If they start to search for me, yours will be the first place they check. I WAS with you last, after all."

"Oh shoot," Arlette said and her eyes went comically wide even though Caius could already tell she had thought of that. It was why her sarcasm wasn’t lost on him when she said,

"Oh, the horror. If they found out I was doing it with a Student, I could lose my job."

"You could at least try to look broken up at the thought," Caius said,

"As one of your students, it hurts to hear you sound so uncaring that you could have to leave us."

Arlette waved him off,

"Eh, it’s fun sometimes. The actual teaching, I like. Watching you kids get all flustered staring at my knockers before you get your mind blown by Alchemy... Ha, that IS fun.

It’s everything else that I despise. All the lesson planning and whatnot.

Worse is, I’m starting to get used to it. That scares me."

A moment of silence passed as Caius heard the note of genuine worry in Arlette’s voice. So he asked,

"Why does it scare you?"

"I don’t know," Arlette said in a low voice now and she looked a bit somber as she continued,

"I guess I miss my life before this. Before I received this..."

She stopped then and Caius knew why; She had gotten close to saying more than she should.

Fortunately, he knew what she was going to say.

"Before you received this Assignment?" He completed for her.

Arlette’s eyes went to his.

"You know, it worries me how quickly I forgot you know way more than you should about ’Ophiuchus’."

Caius smiled lightly as he picked up his jacket from the ground. Then he stepped closer to the bed and grabbed her chin between his thumb and index finger to kiss her lightly on her lips. Arlette pulled up on the bed and one of her hands grabbed the back of Caius’ head but not to force him to stay but rather to add a bit more intensity.

When Caius pulled back, he was smiling at her and groaned to show just how much he wanted to stay.

"I have to go."

"I know," Arlette said with a smile, "Don’t be late tomorrow. We’ve been slacking on your Dark Magic education."

Caius raised a brow and said in a sarcastic voice,

"That was ongoing? I thought it was a one-time thing."

Arlette rolled her eyes,

"Just go," she said laughing as she waved her hand and caused a Portal to appear.

"I’ll see you tomorrow," Caius said before he fell into the portal and left her room.

-Right outside Lochxen’s Gigantic Gates-

"You don’t understand. It’s been hours since school ended and our Young Lord isn’t out yet." Gareth, leader of the squad of Guards in charge of ferrying Caius to and fro Lochxen as well as his safety, said in a loud voice.

The person he was talking to was a mousy-looking man dressed in fairly fine robes. He was the one of Lochxen’s groundskeepers and looked incredibly pissed to be standing there.

Lochxen’s security was so great that their job hardly ever included standing by the Gates. But Gareth had been yelling in impatience and worry for so long now that the mousy man had to show up.

"Maybe something is keeping him. I don’t know. What I know is you need to keep quiet. This is a place of learning. Not a place for this barbarism!"

Gareth’s hand went to the handle of the sword and the mousy man flinched,

"Let us into the grounds to search for him!" He demanded.

The mousy man was not strong enough to keep him out but the Academy’s security measures would not allow so he still needed permission. Permission that only the groundskeeper could give.

"I’m afraid I cannot allow that," the mousy groundskeeper said in a shaky voice. Despite being safe behind the Academy Gates, he still feared Gareth’s sword as well as the intense aura he was starting to feel.

Gareth was about to yell again when one of the Guards said,

"Gareth, look. He’s here."

Gareth looked and Caius had indeed arrived. He walked up to the Gate with his uniform Jacket in hand, his shirt untucked and a wide smile on his handsome face.

The Gates sensed his approach and he was allowed to step out of the grounds like he could barely see the mousy groundskeeper. In fact, he barely looked at any of the Guards.

"Young Lord..." Gareth said in a wave of relief that he was alright. And he even smelled good. Like he just spent time soaking in rose-scented water.

"Hmm," Caius answered mostly oblivious as he sat inside the Mana-powered Carriage.

Gareth took his hand off his sword, cleared his throat, gave the groundskeeper a curt nod before he and the rest of the Guards entered the Carriage and started it up to take their Young Lord home.

Caius was aware that he must have caused some worry. But he just couldn’t feel too bad when he was feeling so good.

All through the ride home, he was smiling and almost humming to himself.

And then the Carriage pulled into the Von Helsing Estate and Orland the chief Butler was waiting in front of the Main Mansion’s gigantic double doors.

"Master Caius," he called with an unreadable expression when Caius stepped out of the carriage.

Caius’s smile faltered now because there was only one reason Orland would be waiting to receive him like this. It had only happened once so far and that was after the first day of school.

Sure enough...

"Lord Lucian is awaiting your presence at the Garden."
