Avatar: Mage of All Elements-Chapter 105
Chapter 105 - 105
First, there were the fire dragons. Small red dragons, about the size of a finger. They lived in a pack and had a hard time surviving. That's why I wanted to talk to them. It took me a few days to find them, but I did.
«Hello little one», I smiled when I saw this cute spirit, «Do you understand me?» he looked at me and nodded slightly, «Can you take me to the Elder, I want to talk to him?» I don't know how, but he hesitated, «I won't hurt you, the word of a mage. I just need some help. Please», the dragonkin nodded again after a moment of thought and took off, flying deep into the grove.
The further we flew, the thicker the plants became, and the more I saw other dragonkin looking at me with interest. Soon I emerged from the thicket into a large clearing.
There were palm-sized dragons, and in the center of the clearing was the largest, curled up like my head. I went to it, sat down and waited. You don't go to a foreign monastery with your own rules, so you have to wait.

POV Izumi
«What do you think?» Izumi asked Zuko.
«He's out of line», he shook his head, «Gather the guards. Don't take the weaklings. The Empress has already shown that cannon fodder is useless against him.»
«Anything else?» she wrote everything down in her journal, filling it out with her thoughts.
«I'll pay a visit to the prisons», he sighed heavily, «Maybe the red lotus will help us.»
Zuko stood up and headed for the exit. It pained him to see what his former friend was doing. He didn't understand the reason, but he knew that there was a reason. But whatever the reason, he could not think of an excuse.

I waited about four hours for the dragon to awaken.
«Human?» he asked me in surprise.
«Yes», I nodded my head.
«What are you doing here?» he asked as he stood up.
«I'm looking for help», I bowed my head, not showing any aggression in that way, «If I may, I will tell you about my situation. And if you can't help me, I'll leave peacefully.»
«Hmm...» the dragonkin broached, walking over and sitting down across from me, «You're not lying. Good. Tell me your story.»
Everything had been prepared beforehand, so I infused the memories and thoughts with energy and transferred them to the spirit. He sat with his eyes closed for a few minutes, but he answered me.
«What a mess you've made», he scratched his forehead with his paw, «But unfortunately I can't help you.»
«I see», I said frustrated, «Then I'll go.»
«Go», he nodded importantly, «And good luck.»
It's a shame, of course, but it can't be helped. I have to go to the next ghosts. I hope I don't get stuck.

POV Unalaq
Unalaq has been training. As chief, he rarely gets to do this, but at times like this, he enjoys it. Only today was a special day.
On the next move, he froze, listening to the world and not believing what was happening. A powerful wave of spiritual energy was sweeping through the world. There could be no mistake, the Southern Spirit Portal had opened.
Abandoning his training, he quickly went to the palace. Even though things had gone a little off the rails, he had far fewer problems now.
«Children, get ready. There's been a change of plans. We're going to the South Pole.»

I almost died in the swamp. Still, it's very hard to survive there without a guide, but I have magic, so I made it. My goal was a small canyon where the stone wolves lived. You have to be careful, because they will eat you without noticing.
I didn't have to wait long. About ten minutes later, a pack of six wolves pounced on me. I knew very well that it was useless to talk to them unless you defeated them. But they were half stone, so it took me a minute, and that was only because I didn't want to hurt them too much.
«I want to talk to your leader», I said seriously. Show weakness and you won't be listened to, you'll be attacked.
«We will lead you», one of the wolves muttered.
And we ran. The wolves led and I followed. Soon we came to a large cave.
«The leader is there», the wolf said and ran back.
I went in. I had a perfect sense of where he was. As well as his size. A six-meter wolve with four tails.
«Why have you come, human?» he asked with a growl.
«I seek help», I didn't bow my head. It's not customary here. «My pack is in danger. Pleas let my tell you my story»

«Alright, go ahead», he nodded and stood up slightly.
I went over and handed him another packet of information. Unlike the dragonkin, the wolf processed the information more quickly.
«Your cause is honorable. The pack comes first. But the path you have chosen is a bloody one», he shook his head, «We cannot help your people. But you are a different race. We agree to help you, your female and your child.»
«Thank you», I nodded my head, «But first I want to find rescue for my people. I'll be back a little later, okay?»
«You choose your own path», he muttered and lay back down on the cold floor of the cave.
I took the hint and made a quick getaway. The fact that they were willing to help me was a good thing. That's good. So the plan will definitely work out. I just have to find a patron for the island. So let's get going.

POV Toph
«Terrible», Toph said as she walked through the ruined palace. Right now her special vision was working against her. Thousands of bodies. Bloody ground. It was as if the souls of all the dead were still here, howling in pain. A horrible sight that not even an enemy would want to see. «You've gone too far.»
And walked towards Zaofu. Time to go home and fight the madman. There was nothing left of the teacher, a hero and a loving man. And she would stop him, no matter what.
