Chapter 113 - 113

After my «Official» death, many on the island wanted revenge. Fortunately, Azula kept them. So when I died, the island was still closed and didn't reopen until exactly a year later.

Except that everyone knew that all the nations were involved in my death, so as a sort of protest, the island adopted a closed policy. It just started doing business through middlemen, keeping other people's ships away. A lot of people didn't like it, but everyone understood the motives, so they just ignored it.

As soon as I learned about airbenders, I passed on all the knowledge I had about training. And I had a lot of knowledge, having spent more than a year studying Tenzin's library.

The next news was that several dangerous criminals had escaped from the prison. Strangely enough, they belonged to the Red Lotus Order and were very strong. Apparently, they found spirits and merged with them. Generally, you could spit at them, but they managed to kidnap Korra and almost killed her.

As a result, the attempt failed, the bandits were killed, only one was captured, and Korra became an invalid. Katara couldn't heal her and now she's at the South Pole. A lot of people got screwed in that mess, so I kind of wish I had been there.

But as a bonus, there was a lava mage, and it wasn't a spirit ability, it was a regular mage ability. Bolin, I think that's the boy's name. We'll have to look into his magic, it would be useful to learn something like that.

Hama also came to the island with Nia. But for some reason she's avoiding our family and living quietly on the other side of the island. I tried to get information from Nia, but she doesn't know anything either.

I also managed to find out what happened to the world. As it turns out, when I put my wish into the tree that the world would not reject me and my family, I did not calculate a little bit, and as a result the world did not change, but was completely rebuilt.

I remember well enough what happened in the dark, and when I thought about it with a cold head, I realized that the world had become much more complex than it had been. It had become denser. More perfect. I realized that from the beginning there was not supposed to be Rava and Vaatu.

There was supposed to be a spirit that would later become a god. But that didn't happen and for God knows how many years the two halves of the whole behaved like children and couldn't act together. Then man stepped in and screwed it all up. And so began the age of the Avatar.

I did everything right, except put the united spirits in the Tree of the World. It was that idiotic act that allowed me to change the world, but at the same time I robbed us of God. On the one hand, it's a good thing. There are no super beings who can change or destroy the world at the whim of their left heel.

But on the other hand, as silly as it sounds, it's a development. Or rather, it's a path of development. Whatever the god, that's the way. I come from a world where the god chose a path without magic, just technology. In this world, it could have been the same and everyone would have lost their magic. Or it could have been the other way around and we would have gone the way of classical magic. Or both.

In general, there are many options, and each has its pros and cons. But the fact is. We don't have God now. He is replaced by a tree that is somewhere between our world and the spirit world.

The spirit world in general is almost completely separate from us. It belongs to our world and is connected to us by many channels through which spirits can move freely and through which energy circulates. The World Tree, which is between our world and the Spirit World, only produces a stream of energy, some of which is deposited in our world and in the Spirit World.

I have no idea where all the other energy goes. As a bonus, this energy allows mages to merge with spirits and take on their characteristics, restoring their magic to its former level or giving them new abilities.

Unfortunately, that's all I know about the current world order, so I leaned back and was gently hugged by Azula, smiling softly.
