Banished to the Abyss After Defying the Author-Chapter 36: Crimson World of Titaine
Noah arrived at the pillars.
Ashoka hung motionless.
Already dead.
Fully burnt.
Charred beyond recognition.
Astriye’s body was still bound to the pillar, her skin scorched but alive.
Barely.
Lengronia’s voice came from within her, trembling and crying.
"Noah... please help. These are not my people anymore."
Noah looked at Ashoka’s body with shock.
Many draculas stood around the area, laughing.
Noah looked at the sky.
Three suns were descending toward the ground.
The heat from them turned the whole area into fire. Astriye’s skin started burning. Noah’s skin also burned, but Karna’s spear healed him faster than the damage could spread.
Noah instantly jumped toward the sun and started forming the Void Spear.
He began bleeding from his eyes.
Even his blood vaporized as it flowed out.
He fired the Void Spear toward one of the three suns.
Suddenly, a dracula jumped in front of the Void Spear.
The spear hit the dracula.
Both the dracula and the spear vanished.
Noah fell to the ground.
"You idiot! Do you even know what you are doing?"
He looked at the sky.
A dracula attacked him.
"We don’t care! We want justice!"
Noah dodged.
The dracula stepped forward. Red hoodie. Red eyes. Smiling.
"Unknown being, you can’t stop us no matter what."
He stretched his hand.
Suddenly, spikes erupted from inside Noah’s body, tearing through him.
Noah screamed and instantly moved toward the dracula.
The dracula raised both arms.
"DRACONIC AUTHORITY: AGE OF CRIMSON RED."
Suddenly, every dracula in the area had their power multiplied by several folds.
They attacked together and punched Noah.
He flew backward across the burning plains.
Noah balanced himself in midair.
He stole Lengronia’s authority and merged it with his power.
He landed on the ground and instantly ran toward the dracula, punching him with full force.
The dracula exploded.
Then reformed.
"As long as we are in the Crimson Moon land, we can’t die."
Noah looked at the sky.
The suns were getting so close.
He instantly took out Karna’s spear.
"O SUN, ALL ABIDE TO DEATH."
The spear grew as big as a mountain and launched toward the ultra giant suns.
Noah suddenly realized something.
The whole spear was very, very small in front of the suns. It was like comparing an ocean to a lake.
Then all three suns hit the ground.
The whole Titaine world trembled with extreme heat.
Deaths all over the entire world.
Noah burnt fully.
The vampires burnt fully.
Everything ended.
After the destruction was complete, Noah reformed.
He looked at the world.
He was shocked.
All rocks, everything, already melted. It was like a red ocean of plasma.
He looked toward where Ashoka had been.
Even his ashes were not left.
Noah couldn’t say anything.
Couldn’t feel anything.
The whole Titaine world was dead.
Already ended.
Suddenly, the world trembled again.
The seal on his abilities cracked.
He regained his sealed power.
He looked at his hand.
He looked at the draculas that had reformed.
"I WILL KILL YOU ALL NOW."
The draculas reformed using their authority as an anchor.
Noah raised his hand.
Suddenly, all the dracula authority vanished and was rejected.
Noah looked at them.
"I know humans killed you. But that does not mean you will exterminate all life forms except yourselves from the world."
He raised his hand.
Red aura glowed from it.
Noah sealed the Real Sky.
The blue sky came back.
He looked at the destruction.
I got my sealed power back. It must be due to so much force on the world that let some of it move, that made a crack in the seal and I got free.
He stretched his hand and reversed the damage on the world.
Mountains rose.
Oceans returned.
Cities reformed.
But then Noah noticed something.
Most souls had already entered the cycle of hell and heaven.
He was shocked.
He sighed.
He looked at the draculas standing there, weak now.
He took out Karna’s spear.
The spear cracked in his hand because Noah’s divinity exceeded everything in this world that could hold it.
He fired the spear toward the draculas.
All the draculas instantly vanished.
Noah looked at the stone pillar and freed Astriye.
She looked around wildly.
"My father... my mother... no, no, no, please no. Please tell me it’s a nightmare, please."
She was crying.
Noah sighed.
"It’s all true."
She looked shocked and slapped herself.
"It’s because of this other self! Why did she come into my life? Why?"
She kept slapping herself.
Noah stopped her.
"Beating yourself will change nothing."
He thought to himself.
In Sofail world when it was erased, it was erased and no souls were able to enter the hell and heaven cycle. But in Titaine world, most souls entered the hell and heaven cycle.
He looked at Astriye.
"Lengronia, I know you can still hear me. So say something."
Lengronia’s voice came, sad and broken.
"What do you want to talk about? I never wanted this type of ending. Why didn’t my people listen to me?"
She was in guilt for not being able to control her people, which led to this whole incident happening.
Noah sighed.
"We can’t do anything. So now, only Astriye and you in her body are alive in this whole world."
She looked at him with shock.
Then she stood up.
"Because of me, everything happened. I have to do something."
Noah got confused.
"What do you mean?"
Suddenly, Lengronia tried to use her Draconic Authority.
It didn’t work.
She was shocked.
"I rejected your authority," Noah said.
She said through tears, "Why? Why? Do you want to see me and Astriye suffer more?"
Noah sighed.
"You want to die too, huh? To end this pain, right?"
She looked at him.
"I want to die. So please, just let me die at least in peace."
She was crying.
Noah looked at her.
Why can’t I make myself let her kill herself? Is it because I hold her accountable for these countless deaths?
He looked at her crying face, begging to die.
He sighed.
Is it really okay to hold her accountable? Why am I holding her accountable? Is it because Nakula died too? And Claus, that funny guy, died too?
He couldn’t find why he was stopping her.
He knew he could resurrect everyone, but it would have a big backlash.
If I resurrect them... I don’t know if they’ll be grateful or hate me.
He stood there in silence, unable to decide.
