Beast Hack: Customizing Beasts and Capturing Beauties-Chapter 267: Gorevile Wants to Play
Vance frowned deeply as the battlefield was now a mess. Most of his men were either dead or severely injured.
Their enemy, the monster girl, Loreia, was still standing tall and mocking him in this very moment. "Damn it."
He lifted his gaze toward Loreia. "It seems that I need to handle this myself."
Loreia smirked, spinning her spear lazily. "Oh? Finally ready to get your hands dirty? Took you long enough."
Vance ignored her taunt and took a step forward, his body emanating a powerful aura.
He then sneered. "You think I’m the same as those weaklings you’ve crushed? You think you’ve won?"
His voice grew sharper. "Let me tell you something, monster girl. You don’t understand the power the Aurelius family wields."
Loreia arched her eyebrow. "Oh? And here I thought your power was just getting beat up and making dramatic speeches."
Vance chuckled as he was excited now. "Keep laughing. But you won’t be smiling when you see what true power looks like."
He extended his hand and created a portal in which his beast would come out.
THUD.
A monstrous limb slammed onto the ground, followed by another.
A grotesque towering figure appeared. It was a beast of pure experimentation.
Its body resembled that of a gorilla, but something was really, really wrong.
Instead of a single uniform form, it looked like it had been stitched together from various gorilla-like creatures.
Its muscular frame was also reinforced further with unnatural bone plates.
Its arms were grotesquely overgrown, its knuckles digging into the ground like a beast ready to pounce.
Its tail, however, was really different. Instead of a normal tail, it had been replaced with a snake.
It was also not a normal snake, as it was dripping with something like venom.
Vance smirked as he stepped back from his own beast. "Now that I’ve summoned my beast—Gorevile—you are dead."
Loreia stared at the abomination, then whistled. "Huh. And here I thought your Chimawren were the ugliest things I’d see today."
Vance ignored her. "This is one of our strongest experimental beasts—not only powerful, but highly intelligent."
Gorevile let out a deep, guttural growl, its knuckles grinding into the dirt, its snake-like tail twitching hungrily.
Vance pointed at Loreia. "I’ll make sure you pay for what you did today."
Loreia spun her spear once and grinned. "Then stop talking and come here!"

Lucius tilted his head slightly, watching the mutated beast stand before Loreia.
He was really interested in it and couldn’t help but praise the Aurelius family for having a lot of wild ideas.
Without hesitation, he activated his system to scan and see what kind of mutated beast this Gorevile was.

[Mutagenic Sludge: Possess a snake-like tail that secretes corrosive venom, causing progressive decay in enemies upon contact.]
[Adaptive Muscles: Can alter its own muscle structure mid-fight, optimizing itself for either speed or raw strength.]
[Bone Shard Assault: Can launch jagged bone spikes from its reinforced arms, acting as a ranged attack.]
---
Lucius tapped his finger against his chin, intrigued. "This is quite interesting."
Gorevile had two S-Rank stats. It also had some useful abilities. It was better than he thought but still...
He glanced toward Loreia, who was standing before Gorevile. "But even with all of that, it’s still weaker than her."
Loreia had divine talent, and the moment she weaponized or fused with a beast, her stats multiplied by a ridiculous 5000%.
But still.. Lucius folded his arms, watching the battlefield. "I still like to see how it fights first."
After all, understanding his enemies was part of the fun and if Gorevile proved to be interesting enough...
Maybe he’d take the Aurelius experiments and improve them himself.
---
Vance grinned as he activated the control device embedded in his wrist. "Let’s end this quickly. Gorevile—attack!"
The massive mutated beast let out a roar as it raised both of its bone-plated arms.
It immediately launched a barrage of jagged bone shards straight toward Loreia, aiming her vitals with precision.
SHINK! SHINK! SHINK!
But Loreai was already moving as she spun her spear and deflected the incoming shards mid-air.
Each bone spike shattered upon impact, their sharp fragments scattering uselessly to the ground.
Loreia smirked as she narrowed her eyes. "Is that all you got?"
Vance chuckled, crossing his arms. "Oh no. Not even close."

Just as Loreia rushed forward, closing the distance between them, Gorevile smirked.
Its muscles rippled unnaturally, shifting and reforming mid-combat.
Its legs bulked up instantly, the muscle density increasing in a split second.
With a powerful leap, Gorevile soared high above Loreia, completely avoiding her charge.
Loreia frowned, her eyes snapping upward.
While still mid-air, Gorevile’s snake-like tail twisted around, the fangs at its tip dripping with a thick, putrid substance.
With a whip of its tail, it released a spray of corrosive venom directly toward Loreia.
Vance smirked as he saw Loreia was covered with the purple venom. "What’s wrong, monster girl? Too slow to react?"
He laughed, shaking his head. "Gorevile is more than just brute strength."
"Its adaptive biology makes it unpredictable. You can’t block everything with that fancy spear of yours!"
Grovile chuckled as it wasn’t just a mindless weapon. It was a beast that enjoyed this.
Instead of charging blindly like a berserk beast, Gorevile slowed its movements.
It knew that it did not need to rush as Loreia was already on its palm.
Vance smirked, noticing the shift. "Oh? Are you taking your time now?"
Gorevile grinned, baring its jagged teeth, its snake-like tail twitching with anticipation.
This beast wasn’t just smart. It was quite sadistic. It had adjusted its venom, deliberately weakening its potency.
It wasn’t because it was inefficient, but because it wanted to play with its prey.
The venom was a decaying venom that dissolving felsh layer by layer slowly.
Vance chuckled. "Oh, I see. You want to enjoy this, huh?"
Gorevile tilted its head slightly, as if acknowledging its Vance’s words.
It could have released a stronger dose and ended this faster, but that wouldn’t be fun.
It wanted to watch, to see her struggle until the venom took her life.
Vance grinned wider, crossing his arms. "Fine. Take your time. After all... She’s already dead. She just doesn’t know it yet."
