"Beast Style Technique, I don’t know why but it feels perfect for soldiers." Raleigh mutters.

They’re now walking towards the research area but unlike the soldiers, they aren’t hurrying, their numbers are too big and they also need to protect the students, if it weren’t for Sean and Maki, none of them would want to go there.

"As expected of the number one student in the military academy, you’re right, Beast Style Technique is perfect for soldiers as you need to practice Military Stance to be able to train it but you’re also wrong."

Just as those from City Z1 were confused, he continues.

"Beast Style Technique is versatile, it can be used to any given situation as long as you register specific animals to your forte but don’t take it from me, why don’t you hear it from it’s co-creator and current practitioner?" He turns to Jericho and nods at him.

Everyone turns to Jericho, other than those from City Z5, everyone was shocked.

"Yes, currently, I only know six moves, it can still be improved and can be used and evolved until gold rank." Jericho explains.

"The six moves are Fang, Coiling Snake, Turtle Operation, Graceful Swan, Kong Punch and the one that Sean used against earlier Sword Claws."

He turns to Cladiius. "I had used all five against Cladiius but I’m not really proficient with the sixth one yet."

Cladiius recalls their fight and was a bit pissed off but doesn’t really hate Jericho.

"Man, you guys from City Z5 are abnormals, first, your city is much farther away from the military base, second, you guys have such monstrous principal, third, all of you are practicing different martial arts that suited for you and lastly that guy!" He points at Sean.

Sean’s existence doesn’t need no explanation to everyone, he’s just built different.

While they were talking, Sean and Maki are actually surveying the surrounding.

"Where do you think these people came from?"

"I don’t know, I thought that our journey will be mostly smooth sailing with the occasional attacks from flying mystique creatures but I never expected this." She frowns.

"Me too, all I know is that they are afraid to make a move in the base, it seems that the deterrent of an Innate is as strong as ever." He chuckles trying to loosen the tension.

Maki, for the first time in her life was pushed to role where she’s respected because of her profession and not just her strength.

Now, she’s feeling pressured to protect everyone that depend on her.

Sean can see that she takes the rule of a protector quite seriously.

He knows how it feels but only slightly, he looks at his family and is determined to protect them to his very last breath.

"I don’t think that they’re stowaways but more like they were summoned at this ship." Fabuki suddenly interjects.

"What makes you think that?" He’s confused.

"Because, I’ve been talking with the other students, trying to calm them down and I heard that some students from City Z2 are members of the Abyss, they’re corrupted since before joining this completion and only after passing through the boundary did the seal in their memories are loosened."

"Then, doesn’t this just means that they’re stowaways, you might not know this but I’ve encountered a member of the Genetic Upgrade that posed as a soldier in the deck." He shares to them.

"What’s with your family and the Genetic Upgrade? Why is it that you always encounter each other? it’s like you guys are fated." Fabuki was speechless.

Even Maki think so, he can only shrug his shoulder as he doesn’t want to meet those guys too.

"Still, the question is, why do you think that they aren’t stowaways when there are clearly many evidence that says otherwise." He asks.

"It’s because I have been studying space ever since I was little and I was even the one that created the teleportation skill that me and my sister uses."

Sean’s eyes widens in shock, he had always been jealous of that skill and wants to learn it.

"That skill isn’t an innate ability of yours!? Can you teach me it!?" If he can use it, then, he can travel much farther than intended.

"Sorry, I’ll teach you that technique but unless you have the same physique as us and also develop psychic powers, you wouldn’t be able to learn it." She doesn’t want to crush his dreams.

Sean smirks. "That might be true but who knows, I might be able to create an alternative way to develop this skill."

Maki laughs. "My dear cute little sister, have you forgotten who you’re talking with? This is the guy that can create miracles! The child of miracle of our city and the hope of our zone."

Sean was a bit embarrassed being praised like this by Maki but this doesn’t mean that he doesn’t feel good about it.

He stops, instantly, everyone sense the feeling of dread.

"Protect everyone with your auras!" He shouts.

He dashes towards the students and activates Burning Sun.

An apparition of a golden sun appears above him, his body starts heating up.

"What’s that!?" Jericho senses the feeling clearly, Golden was growling.

"The advanced version of Killing Intent, only cultivated through killing so many living beings, Slaughter Aura." His expression is gloomy.

A pseudo Innate has appeared.

The principals are shielding the students with their own auras and Sean was basically burning the sensation of dread.

"I’ll go deal with that fellow!" Maki was furious that the one responsible nearly cause a psychological trauma to the students.

"Go! Principal Frost, Fabuki and Christine, you guys go support Maki, you mustn’t get involve directly!" Sean shouts at the three to follow Maki.

"What about me? I’m more useful than that barbarian girl!" Bear asks.

"No! We need you here, your large physique together with your probably large pet beasts would be useful as meat shield." He shakes his head.

Bear was speechless, he was actually treated as a metal shield but seeing him being so honest, he can’t really get angry.

Sean turns to the pouring aura of hostility, he doesn’t know why but he feels disgusted.

"Bear, you’re a principal, do you know information about auras?"

"Yes! Don’t look my looks fool you but I was once a teacher!" He proudly proclaims.

"Good, can you explain my overflowing disgust over the Slaughter Aura? I manifested Killing Intent, similar to it but why do I feel like this?"

Bear was startled but this made him ponder, he asks. "Tell me, you had killed a lot of people but is there any chance that you killed every single living being you encounter?"

"No, of course not! I’m not a coldblooded murderer!"

"It’s probably because, most of the creatures you killed are either the same rank as you and one rank higher than you." Jericho suddenly interjects.

"What?" Sean was stunned, he never expected that his friend would give such a logical explanation.

He turns of Burning Sun and activates Peerless Aura instead, a mighty and oppressive force descends in the area but it’s clearly effective at pushing away the Slaughter Aura.

He sneers. "It seems that the intruder likes to cause undue suffering to his targets."

Bear also realizes this.

Suddenly, footsteps can be heard, this instantly alarmed Bear and Sean.

Flow State + Tai Chi + Charm

He makes it so that the focus of his targets are into him.

She activates her charm to pull the argo towards her, she covers the students with Illusion and transforms into her battle form.

Jasmine guards the rear together with Bun Bun and Scorchy.

"Huh? Isn’t that Avhigail?" Sean was startled.

He turns to Bear. "Don’t attack them, they’re the evolution planners."

They let him enter their group, sensing his power, the expression of many planners turns pale but seeing three people running towards them without stopping, they were stunned.

"Avhigail, where’s Aryan and that old man?" He quickly asks.

He only sees Landon and Steffany in the group.

Avhigail leaps to his embrace and starts crying.

"Dead, both of them are dead." Landon answers with a blank expression, as if he can’t believe what just happened.

Sean’s expression changes, unknowingly, his killing intent rises from his body, the two killing auras clashes against each other.

"Who are the enemies!?" He asks, his voice laced with anger.

"They are the Genetic Upgrade, it seems that they’re planning on kidnapping the evolution planners, turning us into mutants!" Steffany was a bit better than the two.

As someone from the noble family, she was raised to train her mind.

"Hmm, Steffany, you stay by my side, I want you to check everyone that came with you, just to make sure that they’re all evolution planners." Patting Avhigail’s back, he sighs and pulls Landon into the group, the latter is still not out of it yet.

One by one, the people were checked by Steffany, those that are not known by her were pushed to side to Bear.

"I don’t trust you guys, I’ll break your limbs but don’t worry, if we find someone that recognized you or at least verify your identity, I’ll repair your injuries."

Before they can say anything, he appears in front of them with Dashed empowered by Speed Force.

With extreme speed, he breaks their limbs one by one, unable to react to his actions.

Tai Chi Fifth Move: Bone dislocation.

This isn’t a lethal move for martial artists that has good body control but it works wonders against unsuspecting targets.

He didn’t really break their bones, just dislocated them, those that have good by control can reconnect them with ease.

He punches them repeatedly in their chin, knocking many of them out.

"Anyone that can tie them up?" He turns to the students and asks.

They can actually sense his thoughts so they don’t complain, they just saw how he deals with those that ran away with them.

"We can only wait here, there are four gold rankers that went there to rescue the others, there are also reinforcement that are coming from the deck, please just wait patiently."

Just as he was instructing everyone, his senses warns him about a powerful opponent, he stops.

"Bear, summon your pet beasts, someone is coming."

His presence suddenly grows bigger as he waits for the enemy to come out.

"Well, well, well, I never thought that there’s a supreme genius in your zone, it seems that we truly can’t trust those information." A woman with a sexy body appears from the direction of the research area.

Upon seeing her, the expression of Landon changes.

"You bxtch!" He roars.

His reaction says it all as Sean’s eyes burns with intense anger.

He appears in front of the girl and stabs her in her chest.

He was so fast that he felt an afterimage behind him.

His attack was actually blocked, he was shocked, he then sees a giant being that’s made out of skeleton appears in front of him.

A pseudo Innate! Not only that, he sense a familiar aura from it.

A monster!

The giant skeleton thrusts it’s spear at him.

He snorts as he dodges the attack with ease and counters it with an elbow covered in Metal Coating.

His attack actually didn’t destroy the head of the skeleton.

He was shocked, he had never encountered a monster but he always heard that they are multiple times stronger than their normal counterparts.

The skeleton roars as it release a powerful energy out of it’s body, pushing him away.

His expression changes, if this energy hits the others, it’ll be dangerous.
