Beastmen Love-Chapter 139: Nature Is The Calm, And The Storm

In the United Tribes, the only ones that end up having a faster probation period are females, but even so, they have to go through some kind of a test for them to come inside not wanting to destroy the harmony that is being nurtured there.

However, males understand this harmony more than females. A female who recently could come inside the walls of the United Tribes waltz on the streets of the growing city. She’s a little fat on the belly and arms but has long walnut hair and blue eyes. She’s wearing a mini skirt and a tube top, dressed to find new males.

She finds some males she likes, but she’s facing rejection from everyone she chooses even if they don’t have spouses. She finds Ana and two other females sitting next to the entrance to Dieg’s grave.

Since the tribe grew so much, and Astri didn’t want anyone to build something on his grave, she fenced it to keep it protected.

Another male passes by, a tiger beastman with 4 marks, and she calls his attention with a sexy smile.

"Hello, handsome. You’re so hot.."

He looked at her, and that made her pride grow again.

"I’m looking after strong males. Want to be my male?" She asks, leaning on him and touching her hands on his chest.

"Erm.. Thank you, but I’m sorry. I have someone in mind already." He answers with an apologetic smile, stepping back.

"Did she dump you? I won’t dump you. I can give you litter very soon."

"No.. What’s your name?"

"Viola."

"Miss Viola.. She didn’t reject me. I’m still preparing myself for her and to try to become her spouse." He answers, stepping back and walking away quickly.

Viola growls, stomping her feet on the ground.

"What is wrong with these males?!"

"They want a chance to become spouses with Lady Astri." A female next to Ana says.

"Who is this Lady Astri? What is so special about her?" Viola growls.

Ana stays quiet, knowing that Astri is more than special.

"She’s a different female. That’s all you need to know." Another female says, also knowing that Astri is different and very much capable of protecting herself since she saw Astri beating up Ana in their duel.

"Where can I find her? I want to see how special she is." Viola says disgusted.

"If I were you, I wouldn’t pick a fight with her. From experience, believe me, you’re not worthy." Ana says.

"You’re changed, Ana. Before you would hate Lady Astri until the end of the world." Another female chuckles.

"..She saved me. And I also noticed she’s not bad." Ana softly answers.

"She saved you? Were you sick like Miss Mia? I heard that she literally died and Lady Astri brought her to life."

"I was sick, but I didn’t die. Almost died. Lady Astri is good at medicine. That’s why none of us are as worthy as her." Ana says.

Viola snorts, crossing her arms.

"I am sure she’s not what you’re saying. Asking males to save someone doesn’t mean she saved them." Viola says, with a very mean disgusted face.

"Think what you want. I know what I saw. I advised you." Ana shrugs her shoulders, then she gives the ball she was fixing to her cub to play with the others.

Then they see Lee and Wayde passing by with Shung, but who calls her attention the most is Lee with his glamorous expensive clothes.

"Leaders Lee, Wayde and Shung. They are the leaders of this place." A female answers.

"The male with fancy clothes is so handsome. I want him."

"All of us. But Lady Astri is his spouse. Leader Wayde too. They live in the castle."

"Oh.. Now I understand more. This Lady Astri is only desired because she’s the spouse of the leaders." Viola says, frustrated again to know Lee is taken.

Then some males arrive and stand next to Viola, showing they’re her spouses. Before Viola leaves, she sees Astri coming with her children, Hopin and Dieg. Dieg is carrying Atlas, and right behind them are two more guards.

Then the tiger male that rejected Viola appears walking happily near them and then he opens the gate to Dieg’s grave for Astri to pass. Astri smiles at him and thanks him, making him blush, and when he thinks of saying anything Dieg growls at him making him stop.

The tiger beastman closes the wooden gate and stays there waiting for Astri with the guards.

Viola walks to them and looks inside, watching Astri pulling weeds with Yuki. Dieg watches them with a smile on his face, of someone very much in love.

"So, that’s the female you want? She doesn’t even care about you." Viola asks the tiger beastman and the guards.

Hopin was near the entrance and heard Viola.

"Don’t focus on having her just for having a position here." Viola says to them, still trying to get their attention.

"Our position is as Lady Astri’s guards. We’re happy enough with that because we know how amazing she is and the good things she brings through our leaders." A guard says, with crossed arms.

"So you prefer being just a guard than having a mate? Did you lose your p*?"

"No. We just don’t mind not having anyone, even if that means protecting someone like Lady Astri." The other guard answers.

"That’s.. crazy. What is that female teaching you? This is absurd! The strongest don’t want to mate? We will not have heirs if this blank thing keeps burning your heads with those ideas! We can see she’s crazy because she wears snow-season clothes and it’s not even snowing." Viola says and laughs at the end.

"You don’t know her!" Hopin angrily says to Viola.

She chuckles.

"What? Protecting mom? She’s making you believe you’re something being a tiny rabbit? Be even grateful you’re born, useless brat."

Before Hopin says anything back, he feels a hand on his shoulder. He looks back and he sees Astri, and Dieg.

"Say and think about what you want about me, but don’t direct your filthy words to my cubs. Including my strong rabbit." Astri says and pulls Hopin away to be closer to the other children.

"You’re killing him, and these males, by deceiving them to believe you care for them somehow, and now they don’t even want to procreate anymore." Viola growls at Astri.

"Feel free to save us opening your legs to whoever you want. Leave us alone, please. I really don’t need this right now." Astri says, going back to work.

"And what? Will ask your males to do something?"

"Viola.. I think you should stop.." One of her males says, pulling her by the arm slowly, after sensing things won’t lead the best way.

"Let me go. I’m winning and we might take her place here." Viola pushes his hands from her.

The guards, Dieg, and the tiger beastman laugh at her remark.

"You better leave, miss. Hear your male. You won’t win anything here. Lady Astri is way above your level." A guard says.

"You won’t ever be on her level, that is." Dieg snorts.

"I won’t leave. And I want to see who dares to touch me." Viola spats back.

Astri sighs, annoyed, and seeing her children looking at Viola with disdain on their faces. She doesn’t want them to keep watching this kind of extreme behavior and show them what is the best thing to do in these situations.

"It’s all right, dears. Some people were raised differently and have different ideas. Respect is not something you own or win. And some people think that hurting others will make them feel better or bigger, but they’re just trying to make us as low as them. The best is to ignore because there’s nothing you can say to change someone who doesn’t want to change. Don’t let others lower you. Be wise, and not stubborn." Astri says to the children.

"What are you saying over there, pale thing?! Tell me what you think of me on my face, you coward!" Viola loudly says from the gate.

"What is happening here?" Tyr arrives and asks after hearing Viola’s scream.

"This female is trying to pick up a fight with Lady Astri, my lord." A guard answers.

"Lord? Are you one of the leaders here?" Viola asks Tyr, also finding him very handsome.

"You’re talking to the former King of Beasts, and, now, we have the honor to be one of the leaders of our tribes. And he’s here because of Lady Astri." The tiger beastman says.

"Oh.." Viola says, impressed. "Well.. I didn’t think the King of Beasts would choose so.. poorly."

"Poorly would be if I had chosen you. I must remind you all that even females have rules and laws to follow. Even females can be punished and banished here. So you better watch what you speak. The Queen is Astri and she can also demand you to be punished." Tyr says, very seriously to Viola and her males.

"Let’s go, sweethearts. Later we will visit here." Astri says, motioning the children to follow her.

Astri holds Yuki’s hand and walks away, then passes in front of Viola. Viola slaps Hopin’s head when he passes in front of her.
