"Of course, I still love you guys very much. Even on holidays, I’ll take you to the playground."

Callum gently stroked his little daughter’s head. "I won’t disappoint you again, my daughter. Besides, it’s been a long time since we played together."

"Does dad promise?"

"I was worried you would get cold wearing only pajamas," Edith said as she sat on her fiancé’s lap.

"No. In fact, I’ve been worried about you for a while now because you’re acting this way." Edith hugged her fiancé’s muscular body affectionately. "If something happened, you should tell me. I know you’ve been looking anxious."
