Night had fallen. Callum still didn’t want to sleep, curious about what his fiancée had to say. He stared at her as she applied her night cream on the vanity. Edith looked down, embarrassed by Callum’s infatuation with her. Callum acted like this almost every night, but tonight was different, as he had confessed his love for his fiancée.

After applying night cream to her face, she immediately approached her fiancée, who was sitting on the bed. "Why do you like watching me apply night cream?"

"Because you get more beautiful every time you use night cream."

Her cheeks flushed red. "I haven’t even said a word yet, and you’re starting to sweet talk me."

"So what do you want to say to me now? I’ve been waiting for it since we had dinner last night."

Edith lowered her head for a moment, holding her fiancé’s hand. "Actually, I’m so confident on stage because of you."

"Because me?"

Edith nodded. "If you hadn’t taken the initiative to model for me, I probably wouldn’t have been able to express the true meaning of my couple’s dancewear design. I actually dared to express it because you were by my side."

Edith laughed so hard her cheeks turned red. "Callum, are you willing for everyone to hear what’s truly in my heart for you?"

"It’s okay. In fact, they need to hear it so that none of them want to ruin our relationship again."

"Now that everything is back to normal, I will probably be busy working again preparing for the fashion show."

"Do you need my help?"

"No need. I just want you to help me look after the kids."

His lips lingered on his fiancée’s for a few seconds. "Of course I’ll look after the kids. Besides, you must be exhausted juggling both taking care of them and running a boutique."

"I’m sorry, I should be the one looking after the kids."

Callum rolled his eyes and slapped his forehead. "I bet you still remember our contract."

"Because the contract is still valid–"

"I’ve thrown away that contract."

Her eyes widened. "Since when did you throw it away?"

"Since you’ve officially become my fiancée, I don’t want to treat you like Erdin’s nanny forever." Callum folded his arms. "Then why do you seem so dependent on the contract? Does it make you happy?"

"No. I never really considered the contract. For some reason, every time I tried to rely on it, I felt like I didn’t deserve it. Was it because I wasn’t really suited to be Erdin’s nanny? But as your fiancée."

"Not my fiancée, but my wife." Callum moved his lips towards her glistening red lips. "Did you put on lipstick?"

"Yes, because you kept staring at me earlier, I wanted to look more beautiful in your eyes."

"Even without makeup, you’re still beautiful in my eyes. You’re beautiful both inside and out."

Edith smiled brightly, kissing her fiancé deeply on the lips. When she wanted to end the kiss, he still wasn’t satisfied. They continued, the kiss growing more and more heated. Edith let her fiancé unbutton her pajamas one by one, revealing her black bra. Allowing her fiancé to kiss her body with satisfaction made her want to do it all night, until she broke a sweat.

Since Edith won the national competition, many agencies have been vying to work with her again. Edith had predicted from the start that she would be busy preparing for the summer fashion show she had been anticipating for months. She hadn’t even had time to spend time with her little family lately because she had to visit the venue to monitor the progress of the stage decorations.

Edith also frequently visits several VIP clients in a day, which can make her body start to tire. However, she remains happy to do so because the fashion show will be attended by many of her closest friends, especially her extended family.

Since tomorrow was the day she had been waiting for, she worked overtime again until she fell asleep. Luckily, she worked from her home office, so Callum could accompany her.

Having only gotten a few hours of sleep recently, Edith fell asleep while checking the equipment she would be using tomorrow. Meanwhile, Callum could only shake his head as he carried his fiancée out of the study.

Callum slowly laid his fiancée down on the bed and covered them both with a blanket. Callum hugged her lovingly, pressing his lips to her temple.

"You’ve been working hard lately. I don’t want you to be sick on tomorrow’s important day."

Edith slowly opened her eyes and looked at her fiancé lying next to her. "How long have I been here?"

"You fell asleep in my office earlier. You should get some rest."

"Actually, I was almost done just now. I’ll finish it now."

Callum immediately grabbed his fiancée’s legs and lifted his head to face her beautiful face. "Don’t be stubborn. You’ve only been sleeping a few hours lately."
