Again, Selene felt nervous just like the first time Xavier advised her to prepare herself. It wasn’t a nervousness where she wanted to push him off of her but a nervousness mixed with excitement where she longed to see what she needed to be ready for.

"All those times I tried to undress before you and when we did get close, you should have taken a better look," Xavier said as he continued to move, slowly easing himself forward.

Xavier stopped when Selene grimaced or her nails were deep into his skin but then moved again once she relaxed. Her tears had stopped which helped him to feel better about what was being done.

"Okay," Selene moved her hands to be placed on his lower back. "This has to be it or I am too out of it. Are you teasing me in some way?"

"No, it is you who is teasing me, Selene. Perhaps I made the mistake of not taking you to the night theatre first. I should have convinced you. This is fine," Xavier said, referring to his size. "It is only because it is your first time."

While Xavier wouldn’t have cared if Selene was with another man before him since he had no room to speak, Xavier liked knowing that of all men, she had not given this intimate moment to the man before him.

Selene deserved to be cared for well.

Xavier leaned down to kiss her cheek, tasting the saltiness of her tears. He remained still for a moment, giving Selene one last time to get adjusted to him before he started to move but it was hard to stay still for too long. It was an impossible task with the way she gripped him.

"I’m fine," Selene assured Xavier.

Selene shared his desperation to finally have what had been on both their minds for some time now. She wanted to feel more of him. She was ready to experience their first time together.

This was all Xavier needed to hear. The timing was wonderful since he was on the edge of losing his mind.

Xavier kept his hold on Selene as he pulled back just enough before entering her again. He was as gentle as he could be, keeping his promise.

Her first time should be sweet, gentle and full of good emotions.

This had more to do with love than just giving in to their desires.

The more time he spent with Selene, the more certain he was that he was falling for her. Falling in love to be precise.

Intimacy had always been about feeling good in the moment, simply sharing a bed with someone but now it was far more because of Selene. He felt something different and there was no way to deny that he was starting to love her.

Xavier would never search for a reason to deny it.

Xavier gritted his teeth as his rhythm remained slow despite the thoughts that filled his mind.

He wanted to do just that but Selene’s tight hold on his arm, her expressions, her voice, her body and so much more was trying to persuade him to do otherwise.

"Selene," Xavier called her name.

"Y-Yes?" Selene replied, hoping what she said was what he needed to hear.

What she felt now was completely different from the start.

All the uncomfortableness was gone and more she felt an immense amount of pleasure. He moved slowly and because of this, Selene was able to better tell just how much there was to him.

Her breath hitched each time all of him was inside her.

Selene needed to apologise later for how much she either gripped his arm or had her nails go into his lower back but as for right now, all that left her mouth were incoherent sounds and Xavier’s name.

Where they lay now was no longer quiet.

"Xavier," she cried out his name.

"Dammit," Selene heard.

Looking up, she noticed how tense his jaw was. He was holding back for her sake since he promised to be gentle with her the first time.

Selene reached up for him, her hand snaking around his neck to pull him down to her for another kiss. Her chest had a strange feeling.

Was it because they had finally made love or was it the night air finally getting to her?

Selene didn’t know which one it was but since it felt too good, she wasn’t going to question it.

The kiss added to how much she wanted Xavier in the moment. Forget about being careful the first time Selene wanted the full experience now.

Perhaps she had just ruined herself because now she was a little obsessed with having more of him. She wanted more of him and she wouldn’t be satisfied tonight until she got all of it.

The gates of her interest in intimacy were now unlocked and with a man like Xavier right there beside her, Selene doubted those gates would ever lock.

There was a buildup inside her. A fluttery feeling that was so wonderful. Before she knew it, Selene was done but Xavier wasn’t yet.

Fortunately, it wan’ts long after she felt something released inside her and Xavier pulled away soon after.

"I got carried away," Xavier said, apologetic he had finished inside of her.

"It’s fine," Selene said, touching his face. "From the moment I agreed to this, I knew what would happen. I didn’t expect you to pull away before it happened."

"Well, I should have done that. Look how much is wasted-"

"Xavier!" Selene covered his mouth with her hand.

Xavier moved her hand from covering his mouth. "It is only the two of us here."

"I covered your mouth because my ears don’t want to hear it. Your mouth," Selene sighed. She might be able to heal from holy weapons but nothing would save her from Xavier.

"Are you well?" Xavier asked.

"I already told you that I was fine. You didn’t hurt me," Selene replied.

"No," Xavier said, sitting back and pulling Selene up with him so she sat on his lap. "I should have been more clear. Must you rest now or are you well to continue? Once isn’t enough for me but I will stop here and dress you if it is."

"Oh," Selene blushed now realising his current predicament. She could feel that once hadn’t been enough because of where she sat now.

Selene poked at his chest with her finger. "It wasn’t enough for me either but this time, I don’t want you to hold back. Going slow and sweet is wonderful but I have been thinking far too many times about what goes on inside of your head."

Selene continued to poke at his chest a little longer until Xavier grabbed her finger to have her stop. "For tonight, can we forget about your promise and just do what we both want because I want more from you so badly that it feels like it will eat away at me until I have it, so."

Selene bit her lip. This was the first time she ever said something like this to a man. It was unlike her.

Tonight seemed to be one meant for many firsts with Xavier.

It pleased Xacvier to hear Selene wanted him as much as he wanted her. "Just for tonight, we can do that."
