Birthing Legends: My Womb Creates SSS Monsters-Chapter 76: The Arrogant vs The Perfect Progenitor.
The air in the room seemed to freeze. Frovian didn’t bow just like those two before him. Instead, he stared at her, his Sensory Roots dialed to the absolute maximum. He was calculating her, sensing the layers of Divine Magic, the absolute density of her Magic and Might Aura, and the sheer, terrifying depth of her Divine Body.
For a long minute, he stood motionless. Then, a low laugh bubbled up from his throat, escalating into a ridiculous, triumphant cackle.
"Ha... Hahaha! Marvelous!"
Frovian spread his arms wide, his eyes gleaming with a fanatic light.
"If I were to be birthed by a weakling, I would have preferred to starve in the sac! But you... you are the epitome. To serve a creator of such magnificent, god like density... it is the only fate worth having. I accept this existence, Mother. You are the only jewel in this pile of gravel!"
Sephiran and Dyralfa gasped in shock. Dyralfa’s tail twitched violently, the air around her rippling with her rising fury.
"Did he just... say he accepts our MOTHER?! "How dare he! We are her children—we are the ones meant to seek acceptance, not grant it!"
Sephiran raised a tiny, indignant fist.
"MOTHER! Put him back in his sac! He clearly needs more time to fix his ego! He’s still half baked!"
Arach, however, let out a low, vibrating chuckle. He kept his six arms crossed, watching the new brother with amusement.
"He is unusual... I think I like him."
Maddy stepped into the center of the group, her voice calm but carrying a weight that silenced the room.
"Everyone, settle down. I’ve said it before: each of you is unique. That uniqueness is what makes you legends. And that... is exactly why I fight all of you from birth."
Frovian’s arrogant smile twitched. Real shock finally flickered across his face.
"Fight... from birth... Did I hear that correctly?"
Maddy tilted her head slightly, a grin spreading that was equal parts pride and menace. She pointed a thumb toward the gym.
"Yes, Frovian. Now... get in the Gym. We’re fighting."
In an instant, the gym erupted into a storm of magical fury. Maddy left Frovian no room to breathe, testing his wits, reflexes, and magical aptitude all at once. As she assessed him, the appraisal flickered to life.
[Magic: 8,000,000 | Might: 2,000,000]
"That’s... high magic. Opposite of Dyralfa, who leans on physical power... Perfect. Let’s see how you handle this! Absolute Light Manipulation: Radiant Rain!"
Maddy unleashed. Hundreds of pinpoint light beams shot from her palms, zigzagging through the air. Frovian simply spread his arms, a wide, arrogant smile carving his face. He basked in the onslaught rather than fear it.
"Ahhhh! This... this is what I was born for! To face her power, to dance in the storm of light! Mother... everything you throw at me, I’ll accept it with delight! You are the epitome of being exquisite!"
From the sidelines, Sephiran’s small fists clenched and his eyes twitched, caught between cringe and jealousy.
"He’s... he’s way too obsessed with Mother! ARGH! I can’t wait to grow up and spar with her too! Come on, beat him to death, Mother!!!"
Frovian’s amber eyes gleamed with a new intensity as Maddy’s Radiant Rain closed in. He inhaled deeply, his Hydraulic Water Bladder swelling beneath his sleek amphibian skin.
"Now, Mother... witness the perfection of your son, forged by your extraordinary gift! Breath Attack: Hydro Mist!"
A high pressure, fine mist blasted from his mouth, filling the gym with shimmering droplets. Each bead acted like a prism, refracting and scattering Maddy’s precise light beams until they dissolved harmlessly into rainbow colored static.
Frovian bowed theatrically, his amphibian hide glittering with the glimmering water and refracted light.
"The storm of your power... and my perfection... together... sublime!"
Maddy’s grin widened as she saw Frovian calmly counter her attack without so much as flinching.
"Scattering my light with a water breath? Clever!"
She lunged forward, her arm crackling with energy.
"This is the first time I’m using a skill originally meant for my worm form... Adaptability is everything. Let’s see how a Lightning Laser fares in human form!" 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
A concentrated beam of pure electricity tore through the mist, crackling and sizzling. Frovian slammed his palm into the floor.
"Yes... strike me! Push me! I crave the brilliance of your attack! Earth Element: Seismic Grounding!"
The floor beneath him surged upward in a jagged spike, acting as a natural lightning rod. The entire laser arc of energy was absorbed into the bedrock, scattering harmlessly as rainbow sparks danced along the stone.
"Turning the floor itself into a conductor... Impressive."
She drew in a deep breath, her chest swelling as she sucked in every ounce of air in the cavern. Then she exhaled.
"Air Shot!"
A massive shockwave of compressed air erupted from her mouth, a localized hurricane designed to flatten anything in its path. Frovian’s eyes flashed with calculation.
"Oh... Mother could suck air like that... Air Element: Wind Vacuum!"
Using his air affinity, Frovian spun a violent vacuum, pulling Maddy’s shockwave into a twisting spiral and hurling it harmlessly into the ceiling.
Maddy muttered, wiping her lips.
"Ugh... I really need to stop using my mouth to fire these. It’s so unladylike. Next time, I’ll make a skill that works with my hands for everything!"
Frovian clapped slowly, a grin spreading across his amphibian features.
"You truly are splendid, Mother. How about this time, I attack, and you defend?"
Without hesitation, he launched himself forward with a High Impact Leap, his movements fluid and uncanny, like a frog in full motion. Midair, his mouth opened wide.
"Breath Attack: Volcanic Jet!"
A stream of Advanced Fire erupted, far hotter than a standard drake’s. Maddy countered instantly.
"Torrent Breath!"
She unleashed a high-pressure water stream. Steam filled the room—a thick, white curtain. Frovian used the cover. His Elastic Tongue shot through the fog like a harpoon, wrapping around Maddy’s wrist.
"Got you."
His Magic Nullification, amplified by six million Magic, rendered him almost immune. Unlike the frogs that instantly fried upon contact with Maddy’s static-charged skin, he barely flinched.
Maddy didn’t hesitate. Her eyes narrowed, and she channeled electricity directly through her skin.
"Not quite! Shock Net!"
