Gara nodded. It seemed his senior had only just learned about the incident from her friends.

Selena planted her hands on her hips, breathing heavily.

"I knew it. He’s always been trouble. But my grandfather kept saying he just needed guidance. Guidance, my foot! He literally drugged a student!"

"Sir Rucian doesn’t just hate humans," Clara cut in, clearly irritated as she recalled her own experience. "He also looks down on beastkin students who aren’t from elite clans."

"Don’t worry," Selena said firmly, confidence glinting in her eyes. "I’ll make sure every beastfolk knows what he’s done. And even those beyond, will hear about it."

Gara stayed silent. In the end, people who did wrong would always face the consequences, with or without his involvement.

’This academy really is amazing for building connections,’ he thought, feeling quite satisfied.

Still chatting about Rucian and Mona’s downfall, they walked out of the club tower. Selena was the first to part ways, while Gara and the others continued toward the dorm tower.

Outside the building, Gara’s friends were already waiting.

"Um... that..." Lio’s small voice squeaked like a timid bird.

"What is it?" Clara asked. She had been the most talkative of the group along the way.

Lio reached into his bamboo woven bag and pulled out a beautiful pink rose. Clara and Gara exchanged puzzled looks.

"Gara, is it okay if I give this to Fian?" Lio asked shyly.

Gara blinked and pointed at himself. "Why are you asking me? It’s for Fian, isn’t it?"

"The rumor about Gara bullying anyone who gets close to Fian is fake, Lio. Don’t believe that nonsense," Clara said teasingly.

Gara let out an awkward laugh. ’So that’s how scary my image, huh?’

"Go ahead and give it to him," he said.

Lio nodded, smiling a little as they approached the group. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

When they reached Fian, who was lost in thought, Lio quietly held out the pink rose. Everyone froze in surprise, especially Andine.

"This is just to thank you," Lio said in a small, trembling voice. "For helping me during the entrance test. Without your help, there wouldn’t even be a druid representative this year."

Fian blinked, unsure what to do. He glanced at Gara, who gave a reassuring nod. Finally, Fian accepted the flower.

Lio didn’t stay long. He waved goodbye and hurried off.

Clara also excused herself. She felt out of place among Class S students.

"So, since when are you close with that druid boy, Fian?" Madha asked, voicing what everyone was thinking.

"I’m not," Fian said honestly. "I just helped him once."

"Oh, right! I remember now, he’s that druid," Andine exclaimed, glancing at Yuvika and Orman, who also started recalling the incident.

It had happened so fast that it wasn’t particularly memorable, aside from revealing just how much influence the Karina family actually had.

"But didn’t you also help out that time, Andine?" Yuvika murmured.

"Hmm~ who wouldn’t like Fian, though," Andine whispered under her breath.

They entered the tower, listening as Miki started explaining something.

"What that druid boy did, it’s actually part of an academy tradition," Miki said. "Giving a flower to someone you admire or just want to thank."

They chatted as they walked toward the pillar where they would split up. Yuvika and Orman’s rooms were on different floors.

The Class S students went up to the sixth floor.

Once they reached the floor, Andine continued Miki’s explanation from earlier. "My sister told me about that tradition too. Each flower supposedly carries a different meaning."

"What does a pink rose mean, then?" Gara asked, nodding toward the flower in Fian’s hand.

"It means gratitude toward someone you admire," Miki explained. "Basically, when someone helps you and you start admiring them because of that."

The others nodded in understanding.

Just as they were about to split off to their respective corridors, Vania suddenly appeared from the hallway on the left.

Everyone stared at her in confusion, and a bit of suspicion, since her room was supposed to be on the right side.

Before Miki could even ask, the tiger girl walked straight up to Revan.

"Sir Pere sent me to find you," Vania said curtly. "He wants you to go to Professor Langga’s office."

Without another word to anyone else, she turned and left. Revan followed soon after, heading back downstairs.

The rest continued toward their rooms.

When Gara stopped in front of his door, his steps froze. "This..."

Madha, Fian, and Andine came up beside him, looking at what he was staring at. A flower. A pink rose.

"You got one too?" Andine turned to Madha, but he looked completely lost.

Seeing his confused face, Andine spoke again. "Well, Gara does help a lot of people. Makes sense someone wanted to thank him."

Gara nodded, though his mind lingered on something else.

He clearly remembered what the academy staff had said on his first day here. Class S dorms were completely secure.

No one without permission could enter.

Today marked the very last day of the year.

Out on the balcony, a young man with silver hair streaked with red gazed at the small forest behind the mansion.

Cold mist escaped his mouth, but he wasn’t wearing anything thick. As a fire dragon, he didn’t need to. His body kept itself warm.

"Father and Mother are probably holding a huge feast back home," he muttered, a faint sigh leaving his lips.

On the final day of every year, there was always a grand closing festival.

As part of the royal dragon family, he and his father usually attended the Dragon Lord’s banquet, then returned home for another feast. Allowing all the servants and slaves to dine freely.

His sharp nose caught the smell of delicious food rising from below. A small smile tugged at his lips.

"At least Aunty Wina and Della are cooking up a feast to celebrate Master Gara finishing his semester."

He was about to head downstairs to check on the triplets when he suddenly froze.

Someone or something was watching him from the forest.

A large, black wing flapped between the trees.

"Isn’t that... the bat maid belonging to Sir Agus?"
