"What?" Haruki urged him to continue speaking.

"I know an excellent hacker and I told him about it. He said an excellent hacker was either behind it or commissioned to do it but he is better than that hacker so he will help me find the source," Hiroshi narrated.

Haruki was first taken aback that Hiroshi knew a hacker but afterwards he nodded. His curiosity pushed him to ask, "You know a hacker?"

"Yes, he used to help me manage my finances. He was a senior in high school. He also promised to clean all traces of the videos left on the internet."

Haruki nodded. Seeing Hiroshi worry about him so much as to find someone to help me, made him smile. He had people already doing that and they were effective enough but he still appreciated the thought.

"If I knew someone was recording our conversation, I would have stopped you from talking. I can’t imagine that our house is wiretapped."

So many intimate moments, if that happened, Haruki knew a lot of people would try to use some of their words against him. He had meetings with Ren and Kiyoshi in the main house, if all those got leaked just like what happened this night, Haruki would such that would deal more blow on his reputation than this.

His reputation was not necessarily good. With millions spent in charity for PR and as a personal act of kindness, Haruki still couldn’t make people believe he was nice.

From his cold appearance and private lifestyle, many took him as a mysterious handsome, rich and powerful being but aside from the fact that he has had quite some lovers in the past, they knew nothing.

They wouldn’t even know who he was presently in a relationship with if the audio hadn’t been exposed with one of the videos having the doctor’s personal information. It was best to have a private life with little or no information on him than to have the whole world know about his past.

Haruki swallowed. Seeing the panic hidden in his calm exterior, Hiroshi frowned and touched Haruki’s cheek. He dropped his hand when Haruki looked at him.

"I will get back to work. I promise to pick you up later. It is all going to be over soon, I promise you."

Haruki smiled at the man’s attempt to pacify him with a promise he was not sure the man could keep. He nodded accepting the man’s goodwill after his people worked on it. It won’t be long before they find the source of the audio.

Hiroshi left for his car and called a foreign number. He made a request and the price was called. Hiroshi made an offer but the person bargained until they came to an agreement. With the assurance that everything was set in motion, he drove back to work.

"Did you hear what happened to Haruki?" Aki asked after making himself comfortable in a seat in Hiroshi’s office. Hiroshi continued typing without sparing him a glance so Aki went on, "I was thinking one of my ex-classmates did this. I thought it was a fake audio."

"Many people can prove it wasn’t fake," Hiroshi responded this time without looking away from the screen of his desktop.

"But how many of them know his voice? Removing the videos was a bad idea in my opinion."

"He was invited to give a speech at his alma mater. It is not hard to find the audio. I am sure someone will find it soon to compare considering how widely circulated the audio was."

"Hmm . . . You are right. I am sure Haruki will also take legal actions against the people behind the audio recording and sharing."

Hiroshi nodded thoughtfully as he paused and moved away from the table. He was almost certain that Haruki would handle this outside of court and the police would most likely overlook it this time because the person carried out such a blatant attack against Haruki.

The police will probably not know who did it before Haruki does or before he does. For the first time, Hiroshi thought of contracting the elimination of someone. He wanted the person behind Haruki’s pain to suffer just as much as he made Haruki go through.

Hiroshi’s gaze moved back to the screen of his monitor as he leaned close to the computer. He ignored what his brother was saying and focused on the report he was working on.

As he promised, Hiroshi came over to pick Haruki up when his work was over. Haruki walked into the car and they drove out of the underground parking lot.

It was discussed on the news but the focus of the news was on the criminal act of wiretapping someone’s house and hacking people’s phones to force them to watch the videos.

It was enough to incite the anger of a lot of people. They began to fret at the thought of the software they use frequently being hacked. It made them worry about the safety of their personal information.

The focus was on the cybercrime not the scandal involving Haruki. The police took the case seriously considering the attention that was drawn to it and contacted Haruki about it to investigate but Haruki told them to leave it to him.

Haruki had to oversee the grand launch of a project they had worked hard on for almost a year. He had kept the fact that he would have to be away on a business trip away from Hiroshi even as the date got closer.

There was something about having to tell the man whose gaze almost didn’t stray from him at all when they were in the same space that he was leaving.

At first, he didn’t see the need to tell the man after all, he didn’t think Hiroshi was worthy of his notification but soon, he was unable to say it because he couldn’t bring himself to say it.

Hiroshi was obviously busy at work especially after his last extended leave. On the night before the day he was leaving, he was sitting in the living room with a bowl of fruit salad he hadn’t touched since he sat on the sofa half an hour ago.

Hiroshi could notice something was wrong but he didn’t bring it up considering it might be because of the videos. He had become very cautious and tried not to speak about very personal things with Haruki.

The apartment was searched for any listening device and none was found but it was just difficult to go back to the stage he had just gotten into with Haruki. He feared having any serious heartfelt conversation leaked to the public.

The released videos had left a scar on his mind. He was so scared knowing all the time they had very intimate moments. The thoughts of all that was getting released weighed on his mind.

He blamed himself so much that he didn’t comment when seeing Haruki’s firm focused face. He swallowed and picked a grape from the glass bowl and pushed it towards Haruki’s lips.

"Taste it," Hiroshi urged.

Haruki looked down at the grape so close to his lips and nodded before taking it into his mouth. He chewed slowly considering the solemnness of the moment. He noticed Hiroshi had picked up another fruit and brought it to his lips again.

"I am leaving for Europe tomorrow," Haruki said calmly taking the fruit Hiroshi gave him. He chewed slowly watching the man’s expression.

"With all these happening?" Hiroshi asked worriedly. As he thought of it without knowing the reason why Haruki was going, he could not help but conclude that it was not a bad idea for Haruki to leave the country.

The news was known globally but a break from the country, from him was not a bad idea. He swallowed and nodded before taking a fruit from the bowl for himself.

"How long are you going to be away?" Hiroshi asked breaking the heavy silence followed by his question. His mind was so focused he didn’t hear when Haruki responded to his words.

Haruki began thinking of how the scandal might affect the launch. He shook his head knowing that they had worked hard for months and he had put things in place to ensure his personal life did not affect their launch.

Since it was in a country with people who either didn’t know him, or didn’t care about his personal life, he had given the order to proceed as planned.

With his thoughts focused on responding to Hiroshi’s words from the point of view of the chairman of Yugen holdings, he missed his mark to ask if Hiroshi had anything serious planned so he could come with him if he wasn’t too busy.

Hiroshi wanted to know when he would be away without trying to ask to go with him. He could only conclude that the doctor was busy. "I will be back as soon as I can. I will stay over there for three days but considering the distance, it might take more days."

"I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to rush things up. You could stay over there for a few days due to the jetlag," Hiroshi worried about Haruki’s health had to suggest.

Haruki nodded but he didn’t verbally confirm how many days he would be abroad. "I will have Kiyoshi drop off a new contract if I am not back before the contract ends."
