Ji Lili was taken aback. She looked at herself in the mirror with a sideways glance.

She saw herself frowning and looking stressed. Shangguan Rouxue, on the contrary, was just standing there looking all innocent and pitiful. It was almost as if it wasn’t Shangguan Rouxue’s mother who had to live with a scarred face, for the rest of her life.

Ji Lili was a simple-minded person, but she wasn’t a stupid girl. Ji Lili realized that she seemed to have overreacted.

Shangguan Ning was right. This had nothing to do with Ji Lili. Then why was she boiling her blood over it and getting all worked up? What was her point of getting angry? More importantly, why did Shangguan Rouxue look so indifferent?

She frowned as she nudged Shangguan Rouxue’s arm. “Xue, is your sister married?”

Shangguan Rouxue was Shangguan Ning’s sister. She should have definitely known, if her sister got married!
