"What happened? Where did all the anger go!?~~ "

The Quantiarch asked! Next moment—She shook her head with obvious realization! "How can I forget!.. " Her lips spreading with disdain! "You were only a dog! That knew only to bark and not to bite!!~~ "

"..."

Ray glared at her! His jaws clenched! Body—Trembling by the sheer humiliation he felt! However he kept it in! He knew—He couldn't afford to loose his composer! Despite his black orbs going red with rage!!

He breathed heavily!!

Alternatively Selina ignoring the peice of trash consumed by his fear! Focused on the one beside him! Her gaze even! Not showing contempt even if she felt any! More like she couldn't bothered to notice there existence to even feel these emotions towards them!!

"Ellen Oredatorix if you want to live! Then I would advice you to mind your own business! Do not interfere where you don't belong!!~~ " Her melodious voice—Rippled! Mirroring her gaze!!

Ellen locked his eyes with Selina! His gaze narrowed! "Selina Valryn!.. " He paused—Suppressing his own anger! "I know that you've become strong! Maybe even stronger then Me! Still it would do you good! If you don't forget who I am!!.. "

Selina retorted! "I don't care who you are! Nor will I ever!!~~ "

Afterwards she began walking towards the two Man! Her step deliberate! Even provoking! Making the them nearly flinch at her daring actions and utter condescension towards them!!

"Bitch!.. " Ellen growled! Threatening like some third rate villain! "The next we meet would be your last!!"

His hand moved towards Ray's shoulder! However before he could even touch him! Let alone activate his artifact! Which was apparently the shoes on his feet!!

He saw his hand falling down!!

He blinked—Confused as to who's hand it was that hit the ground! Yet the low thud rumbled in his head! Making him conscious of the warm blood that stained his face! And the pain that crashed his soul!!

He realized!! ...

Still due to the shock! He became numb and didn't scream at that second!!

His head forcefully turned!!

Thereupon his gaze landed on the cold eyes of the disaster standing before him with a pristine sword grasped in her ivory hand! The sword gleamed! It's blade responsible for cleaving his hand clean!!

"When- Aaaaaahhh!?? Howw- " Ellen howled! Falling to his knees!!

"AaaaannnnnGp!!.. M-My ha-hand!!.. " He gritted his teeth! Clutching his shoulder with his other hand! His eyes quivering with horror and incomprehension!!

"Do you think I'm a joke! Or that I fear you or your pathetic family!!~~ " Selina uttered! Her gaze—Cold! Looking down on the trembling flesh!!

"You certainly should've minded your own business! If you had valued your life!!"

She added—Watching the elf tumbling to his feet! His steps shaky! Ellen glanced at Selina with fear—Blatant on his pain twisted face!!

*Boooom!!~~* ...

He shot into the skies! His mind—Palpatating! Even forgot about his earlier deal! His heart pulsed frantically! His breath turned ragged!!

While in the skies with a sharp twist! Ellen's figure turned! And blasted forward! His speed instantly hitting Level 96! His body cut through the air!!

Speedily—No! Desperately running away from Selina as fast as he possibly could!!

Meanwhile both Black and Selina were indeed shocked at the sudden speed Ellen showed! Yet were immediately bought out of it by Ray—Who also came out of his shock!!

"Ellennnn!!... "

He screamed at the top of his lungs! His mind shivered in sheer disbelief on being abandoned by Ellen Oredatorix without a second thought!!

"Aww!! Is the dog crying!? How sad and pitiful!?"

Ray flinched! Taking an involuntarily step back! Only to realize that the one who mocked him wasn't Selina rather it was Black! His face turned red with shame and indignity!!

However all those emotions eclipsed his fear of death or the torture before death!! Therefore Ray himself threw his dignity away! And without any hesitation fell to his knees! His head hitting the ground—Hard!!

He begged! "Please let Me live Selina!! - " He smaked his head on the ground again!! " -please forgive Me this one time!! - " He smaked again! And despite the pain he continued!!

" -I know I had done you wrong!! - " He raised his bloodied head! His expression—Unsightly pitiful! He pleaded!! " -but haven't I treated to you so well! Even given you so many resources to- "

"Huh!?"

Meanwhile the woman he was pleading to wasn't interested in his disgusting display! In fact she even felt shamed by his loathsome actions! And repulsed that this was the kind of Man she was forced to marry!!

Selina also lost all her intentions of torturing him! Therefore she simply beheaded him with a swift swing of her sword! Her sword movement—Precise and controlled!!

The severed head tumbled down and hit the ground with a low thud! Followed by the headless body! It spammed on the ground for a few minutes before coming to a stop!!

For a minute Selina simply watched the dead body and the blood continuously painting the concrete ground red with its embrace!!

Not feeling neither good nor bad! Her mind simply felt as if some sort of a burden had been lifted off of her! A burden she didn't know—She ever carried!!

Then suddenly Black sensing her almost insensitive emotions—Questioned! Trying to distract her mind! He knew that the existence named Ray was certainly a very bad chapter of her life!!

The reason why her emotions had suddenly become like that! When she didn't feel an ounce of anything when she killed the magical beast moments ago!!

"So what's the deal with that Ellen Oredatorix guy!? Are you gonna leave him just like that!?"

"MmmM!!~~ " Selina blinked! Mind breaking out of her thoughts! Her head turned! Eyes focused on her Lord! Her cold expression immediately cracking into sweet smile!!

"Leave him be My Lord! He isn't much beside from being an S-class student of the academy!!~~

Anyways I also don't know much about him and never really had that much of an interaction with him! Meaning I also don't have much resentment or hatred towards him!!~~

Aside from him being Ray's so-called Leader!!~~ "

Black nodded! His hand—Rubbing his chin! "In other words! He isn't a garbage! Like the one you just beheaded! So he shouldn't be killed!!"

"No—My Lord!!~~ " Lina chuckled with suppressed amusement! "No doubt! Both are trash made from the same cloth! Nonetheless if you want—Then I'll kill him too! The next time we meet him!!~~ "

"No need for the trouble Lina!!~~ " Black shook his head! His hand—Patting her golden head! "Anyways what should we do with this—Um!!.. He lost his consciousness!!"

Black looked at Lim speechlessly! His head immediately turned towards the other two magical beast!!

To see how they were doing! And surprisingly they were still standing at there initial position with sort of a statue-like posture! Body—motionless! Expression—emotionless!!

His lips curled with intrigue!! 'Is it shock! Fear or what! I wonder!?'

"Pathetic!!~~ " Selina spat in distaste!!

Afterwards in a few minutes! Black and Selina were out of the city! Not even interested in entering it! They flew for about another 9 minutes! Before landing on a mountain cliff!!

Black finally took out the two badge he collected! From the tiger-type magical beast and Ray's dead body! Beside he didn't collect the badge from the other two magical beasts or Lim!!

For one Black simply decided not to collect from the grunts and another being there badges didn't have that high of a number either! Lim had 4 and the two beasts had 3 each!!

They were already so pathetic! So Black let them be! A small act of kindness!!

On the other hand! From the two badge's he did collect! The number totaled at 18! Where 7 came from Ray and 11 came from the magical beast!!

"I guess they didn't find many participants to collect more badges! huh!?" Black muttered! Then again it wasn't that hard to conclude! If there badge number was so low despite there higher levels!!

Afterwards he looked towards his Elf! Selina's eyes were practically sparkling! Her gaze focused on him! Eagerly waiting for him to absorbe the badges!! 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Therefore with a helpless sigh! Black did what she wanted him to! However he only fused Ray's badge which made his number rise from 60 to 67!!

He refocused on Selina! "Now you should fuse this one Lina!!" And offered!!

"But- "

Black cut her off mid-sentence! He knew that she would object! So he decided to be a little bit harsher on her! "Did you forget what I told you previously!?"

His gaze narrowed! Expression neutral!!

Selina flinched! Not expecting such a response from him! She quickly shook her head! "N-No-No I did not Lord Black!!~~ " And gulped! For some reason her cheeks flushed a slight red!!

"What did I tell you!?"

"If you give Me something!! I take it with My mouth shut and without any objection or hesitation!!.. " Selina recited word to word immediately!!

Black nodded!!

"Then why are you questioning or objecting now! Is the strength I gave you getting to your head!?" He caressed her cheeks with a smile!!

Whereas Selina had a completely expected reaction! Her eyes widened!! "Noo!! My- "

"Then fuse the badge!!.. "

Selina nodded frantically! Almost desperately! And immediately had the badge of the magical beast with 11 number on it fused with hers! Thus increasing her number from the initial 24 to 35!!

"Good girl!!~~ " Black complemented!!

And as a reward—Gave her a good wet kiss! For a good few minutes! Afterwards despite not needing one! Black still decided to take a rest for some time!!

Just there on the side of the cliff itself!!

Although Black called it rest yet it certainly wasn't! Considering he had again started his practice of combining his two Laws of Lightening and Wind in his body!!

After his previous success! Both knowing and feeling that he wasn't far from successfully combining the two Laws to use them with his Movement-type Ability which will increase his speed from 3-Levels to 5-Levels!!
