BLOOD MUTANT SYSTEM.-Chapter 433: CH: PRINCE’S LOSS
[Granian Home Planet]
[A few days after Jim and Anya’s abduction]
Granian fleets, troops, slaves, and laborers were transferred from planet to planet, colony to colony, all in accordance with Lord Grania’s orders, inspired by Lord Gravax’s advice. From the time the orders were given, a great deal of development manifested all over the Granian Planet, neighboring planets, and colonies.
Resources and minerals were mined and distributed, with the largest portions going to Planet Grania. Soldiers, both existing and new recruits, were retrained again and again, with the higher ranks given the right to learn the basics and advanced stages of Eneraflux.
Meanwhile, two major events took place on the home planet. The first was the construction of the clone-growing laboratories, or clone farms, which was completed almost overnight. While the labs were being built, hundreds of thousands of cylindrical containers were manufactured, delivered, and filled with the same green fluids found in the Blood Mutant containers.
Afterward, the containers were arranged, energy-delivery systems were set in place, and the clone farming process began. Heading that particular process was one of Gravax’s many clones he duplicated in his likeness.
The second major event, which was more crucial than the first, was the construction of the gravitational shears and other mechanics Gravax intended to use to harvest black holes into weaponized forms of energy, not just for instant transportation but also total obliteration.
His goals evolved from simply using the black holes to instantly transmit them from one place to another to now including cannons capable of firing controlled, manageable black holes that, if used correctly, could be used to destroy a small village, mid-sized city, or even a moon.
Gravax himself oversaw the entire project, and with the assistance of the other Granian tribes, they were progressing much faster than expected. But it still wasn’t fast enough.
At any moment, their enemies, the Ethisians, could appear and destroy them. They needed to move quickly, and for that to happen, a lot of resources, manpower, and other components were used.

[Lord Grania’s Palace]
[Human Quarters]
Everything going on with the Granians left two, once important figures, with nothing to do.
Ace, who was still unconscious, and Cherry were left at the human quarters of the Granian Palace with nothing for them to do.
While her brother was busy being unconscious, Cherry decided that the best thing to do was train with Glissk, the aged and somewhat experienced Eneraflux user.
As everyone else built, farmed, slaved away, oversaw projects, and did other things, those two spent their time together training and learning more about each other.
For Cherry, it was an opportunity to learn more about Glissk’s culture, her people, and the days of her youth.
For Glissk, it was a chance for her to understand the mind of a species that was taken away from their home planet and forced to fight in a war it knew barely anything about.
Odd as it sounded, it had certain components that made it interesting for Glissk.

[System Reboot]
[You have regained consciousness]
[Your body grows stronger]
[Your bloodlust grows]
[Your army grows]
[Your hunger grows]
Floating in a cylinder mounted in his quarters, Ace, the Scarlet Emporer/Hemomancer, had finally regained consciousness.
The Blood Bishop, now evolved into a Blood Prince, had recovered from the effects the now deceased High Grade Ethisian put him, his body, his system, and his abilities through.
Not only did he temporarily lose his blood manipulation abilities and everything else tied to them, but he had also "died" again, came back to life, and exerted himself so much that the dark energy within him burst into highly concentrated levels that rendered him unconscious. But he didn’t know that lost part yet.
’Wake up.’ a familiar voice, one that he interacted with a few times, rang in his ear, and his body obeyed.
Slowly, the Blood Prince opened his eyes while his bodily functions resumed. He looked around, took note of where he was, and mustered the strength to pull himself out of the cylindrical container.
[Your hunger grows]
[Energy: 14/1010]
[You need to feed]
With the little strength he had, Ace pulled himself out of the container using two tendrils and then awkwardly fell to the ground.
Wet, hungry, weak, and only having a boxer covering his manhood, he was rather pathetic and vulnerable at that state.
’Get up, Blood Prince,’ the familiar voice spoke again, and just like the first time, his body obeyed.
Though weak, Ace stumbled to his feet and started to drag himself through his quarters in search of blood, or something with fresh blood.
He started with his room, then Cherry’s, then Jim’s, and Anya’s, but they were all empty, neither having blood nor their respective owners.
’Where’s everybody?’
’Walk.’ again, the voice commanded, and his body obeyed. Leaning against the walls for support, Ace moved through the quarters, past the long corridors of the palace, and finally made it to one of the many compounds within and outside the building.
The first people he saw were the Palace’s caretakers. Upon seeing them, his stomach grumbled, his eyes glowed faintly, and his mouth salivated at the smell of the blood coursing through their veins.
’Since when have I been able to smell blood in a living, uninjured body?’ he marveled, puzzled at this new ability he had. Was it an ability, or just his hunger?
’You know what you have to do.’ as the voice spoke again, intrusive thoughts bombarded Ace’s weary mind, followed by vivid, graphic "hallucinations".
The Blood Prince imagined himself clawing the caretakers and sucking all the blood from their bodies in a gruesome manner. The "hallucinations" were so vivid that they almost felt...real.
’What’re you waiting for? Eat.’ Again, Ace’s body started to obey the voice. All along, he unwillingly followed every command it gave without having a say.
This time, however, he struggled to defy it. But how could he? Even his body wanted to eat. It needed to eat. It lusted after the blood flowing in the living, breathing, innocent caretakers standing before him.
’Stop defying me and go eat, Ace...’
"Finally, you decided to wake up." Glissk’s old, comforting voice snapped Ace out of his daze. As he turned around, he noticed the Granian standing a few feet away with her aged face forming a wrinkled smile at him.
"Glissk!!" He mumbled while folding his fists. "I’m very hungry. You shouldn’t be too close to me right now. I might..."
"No need for that," Cherry appeared with what looked like a cauldron of blood. "I sensed your energy once you regained consciousness and prepared this. Drink up, you look horrible."
Just as he was about to drink, a sharp pain hit the Blood Prince’s chest, followed by a terrifying message from his system.
[!!WARNING!!]
[YOU’VE LOST YOUR BLOOD ACOLYTES. YOU NO LONGER HAVE THE POWER TO COMMAND, CONTROL, AND SHARE YOUR STRENGTH WITH THEM]
