The oakwood chair rattled as the white-beard old man tilted its legs backwards, steadily on two legs.
Underneath the metallic desk, tie objects were retrieved, containing a cloth and a badge. The cloth was very dark in its appearance it seem to be made out of special materials as it looked very different. With its softness and malleability similar to the hide of a level one beast, its toughness was as hard as a level nine beast's hide.
The old man placed the objects right on the desk. There, a young man with deep, dark soul steering eyes and a pale countenance stood before the old man with a shabby appearance.
"Place your hand on the platform for scanning and once your registration is complete, receive your stuffs and make sure to link your badge to your Bio-watch." The old man monotonously grunted.
The young man nodded his head and placed his hands on the glass platform above the desk. A green light flashed and his fingerprints were automatically being scanned.
The light remained for a few seconds until there was a click.
"Next!"
"Thank you." Erian retrieved the badge and the clothing and turned around to leave, by passing another student who also came for his badge.
It had only being a day since the experiment. But there were already about a hundred students lined up at the entrance of the Admission's office, for their student's badge.
Erian had been amongst the first few to come which was why he received his quickly. His body was still as weak as yesterday but under the constant nourishment of radiation from the mini Nuclear reactor facility, he was feeling quite comfortable. It seems the more radiation one absorbs from the surroundings, the more faster one would recover from the experiment's weakness
The world wasn't known to be a fair place. Building one was closest to the facility therefore it was certain the person would recover before anyone else. If the person was smart, there was no way he would take advantage of such situation
"... Only the entry nuclear technique and combat technique is free within the Archive. Other Nuclear techniques requires the use of Blood Points in exchange."
Erian's heart skipped a beat. The techniques used as an enhanced won't be that useful when one becomes a Titan, since the combat techniques used as an enhanced are only basic techniques of the Normal grade such as the Rudimental Cell Rejuvenating Technique which is just slightly above that of a mundane technique which is entirely useless to a Titan.
But Nuclear Techniques are different. When the experiment is complete and the transition, to the Titan body is successful, the body bevunes one with extreme radiation such that it could withstand up to 10,000 rads of radiation from any nuclear source with that familiarity, the control of radiation had dramatically increased.
When the control reaches its peak, controlling the body to release electromagnetic pulse wouldn't be at all impossible. But this level of ability is clearly very far away from his current level.
As a Titan, abilities such as strength, agility and regeneration are greatly enhanced and the body could absorb and store massive amount of pure nuclear energy within the nuclear pulse and the body.
The Titan body contains massive amount of nuclear energy, but unless the Titan body could withstand Seven-supercells, the nuclear energy within the body cannot be utilised at will.
This is where Combat Tactics comes in. Combat Tactics are techniques that utilise the nuclear energy into pure power, making it available to use. It is said that at the highest level of a combat tactic, a Titan's punch could rival an Atomic bomb and with an even higher tier of combat tactics, destroying a city with a fist strike won't cost much of an effort.
Nuclear Techniques act as a type of conduit for the body to gather nuclear power through specific rhythm of the muscles, blood and breathing. But they proved to be very difficult to master. Nuclear techniques, combat tactics might be easy at the beginning stages. But after the first stage ie the entry stage of the techniques, advancing a single level will prove increasingly difficult to achieve.
Moroever, it was very rare to find techniques that was above Normal grade in the outside world and even if one was able to find a rare grade nuclear technique or combat tactics, purchasing it could bankrupt even a rich clan and that's assuming they had the power to keep it.
Yet, the student manual claimed that new students would receive a nuclear technique and combat technique for free even though it was only an entry level technique, it was still enough to surprise Erian.
The eternal physique optimization art might have being upgraded to the legendary tier Nuclear technique, but it was still a technique derived from a normal useless technique therefore, its root would still remain ordinary even with the advancement it received with the help of the system, there was not enough theory inducted within the technique. It could only strength the physicque while simultaneously absorbing nuclear energy at this same time, but the rate of absorbsion now slow compared to other Nuclear technique of other grades.
If Erian could select a Nuclear technique of even the lowest their. Its rate of absorbsing nuclear energy would most likely beat the Eternal Physique optimization art. That's the difference between an ordinary technique and a Nuclear technique.
Erian swiped his holo-watch as he continued to read the student's manual while he heading towards the Archive.
