The Babysitting Nightmare
Celestia Moonviel had survived countless battles, faced down the most powerful supernatural beings, and been through more than her fair share of chaos. But nothing had prepared her for this moment:
Dante Moretti's nephew.
The moment she stepped inside the massive mansion more like a fortress her senses immediately screamed danger, but it wasn't from anything threatening. No, it was the smell of chocolate syrup and the sound of something that could only be described as "a storm in the making."
"Ah, here she is!" Dante's voice boomed from the top of the grand staircase, the man himself stepping down with an air of superiority, his usual smug smile plastered on his face. He looked absolutely delighted at the chaos unfolding.
"Your Majesty, meet the terror of my life," Dante said with a flourish, sweeping his hand dramatically to the hallway.
Celestia raised an eyebrow, following his gaze.
There, standing in the middle of the grand hall with his hands on his hips, was a small, messy-haired boy wearing oversized sunglasses and holding a wooden sword that was way too big for him. He looked like a miniature version of a mafia boss in the making.
Celestia couldn't help but blink. Seven years old? This was the kid?
"Uh... what exactly are you wearing?" she asked, trying to hide her disbelief.
The boy tilted his head, his sunglasses almost slipping off his face. "I'm the Prince of Darkness, obviously," he said in a tone that was way too serious for his age.
Celestia glanced at Dante, who was already holding back laughter.
Dante's nephew Leo Moretti was about to become her nightmare for the next few days.
"Alright, kid, listen up," Celestia said, crossing her arms and giving him a look that could melt stone. "I'm not here to play games. I'm here to"
Before she could finish, Leo interrupted with a mischievous grin. "Can I shoot you with my toy gun?"
Celestia blinked. "What?"
Leo pulled out a small plastic water gun from his pocket and aimed it at her face. "I'm practicing for the mafia, see?"
She didn't even have time to react before he sprayed her with water.
Draven, who had been standing quietly in the corner, burst out laughing. "He's a little terror, isn't he?"
"Oh, shut up," Celestia muttered, wiping the water from her face. "I should've brought a towel, not a weapon."
Dante chuckled from his place by the staircase. "Told ya. Leo doesn't listen to anyone. He's like a walking storm."
Celestia sighed, already feeling the weight of the situation. She wasn't exactly a fan of children, and babysitting a mafia heir was definitely not on her list of things to do.
"Alright, Lord of Chaos, what do you want to do?" she asked Leo, trying to keep her cool.
Leo's eyes lit up with excitement. "I want to ride my bike, but I'm not allowed to leave the house. Can you let me?"
Celestia raised an eyebrow. "You want me to let you ride your bike inside the mansion?"
Leo nodded eagerly, his messy hair falling into his eyes. "Yup! It's more fun that way."
Draven, still laughing, chimed in. "You're in for a wild ride, Celestia."
"Shut up, Draven," Celestia muttered, already regretting agreeing to this.
She nodded reluctantly, and Leo immediately ran off, shouting, "Race you to the hallway, Auntie!"
A few moments later, she was chasing after the little brat, trying to avoid collision with the walls as Leo zoomed through the house on his tiny, makeshift bike.
He was ridiculously fast for someone so small, and Celestia was beginning to feel like she was in the middle of an action movie. The boy was zigzagging between furniture, narrowly avoiding the expensive decor, all while laughing manically.
"I can't believe this is happening..." she muttered, finally catching up with him as they reached the grand staircase. "I'm supposed to be babysitting a mafia heir, not racing a toddler."
Leo, clearly enjoying himself, took the stairs two at a time and leaped over the rail in an attempt to show off.
"Oh, hell no!" Celestia shouted, rushing forward to catch him.
Draven, who had been standing by watching all this unfold, sighed dramatically. "Guess I'll be the responsible adult here."
Not.
Leo's water gun was reloaded and ready. He aimed it at Celestia's face again. "Gotcha!" he shouted, laughing as the water hit her in the chest this time.
"Alright, that's it!" Celestia snapped, her vampire speed kicking in as she grabbed the boy by the waist. "I'm calling your uncle."
Leo squirmed and giggled. "Nooo! You can't!"
"Oh yes, I can," she said, holding him up like a bag of potatoes and carrying him back to Dante.
The moment she dropped him off in front of Dante, Leo immediately began whining. "I want to play outside! I'm not going to the academy today!"
Dante raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms, clearly trying to hide his amusement. "You've got to be kidding me."
"I know, right?" Celestia groaned. "This little monster is a handful."
Leo pouted dramatically, his lip trembling. "But I wanna go fight with Uncle Dante's mafia men! They're so cool!"
Dante chuckled darkly. "Not happening. You're not old enough for that. Not by a long shot."
Leo scowled but then quickly wiped the expression from his face as he turned to Celestia. "You're no fun."
Celestia shot Dante a look, "Seriously? This is what I'm dealing with?"
Dante just shrugged. "Hey, he's the heir to the Moretti family. You think this kid's gonna play with dolls?"
Celestia couldn't believe she was even having this conversation. "He's gonna be the death of me."
But then, just when she thought things couldn't get worse, she heard a loud crash from the direction of the study.
"What the hell was that?" she said, narrowing her eyes.
Leo quickly ran off toward the noise, and Celestia followed him, dragging Draven along.
They reached the study only to find Leo's "pranks" had caused a massive pile of broken furniture.
"You've gotta be kidding me," Celestia muttered. "That kid is a natural-born menace."
Draven nodded. "I've seen a lot of chaos, but this... this is next level."
Just then, Dante appeared, his expression now serious. "I need you to watch him closely. It's not just his behavior. There's something more going on. Someone's after him."
Celestia's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"
Dante sighed. "I've received reports of a rival mafia family looking to target him. We've already had some attempts."
Draven's face turned serious. "Are they planning an assassination?"
Dante shook his head. "Not quite. They're planning something worse. We need to protect Leo-and you, Celestia."
Celestia's eyes narrowed, the playful chaos of babysitting disappearing in an instant. "Alright. Let's do this."
Celestia must protect Leo from a mysterious mafia threat.
The kid continues his antics, but with new dangers lurking.
Draven reluctantly gets involved in babysitting.
Celestia may have to confront the rival mafia head-on.
The Mafia Heir's Big Plan
It was midnight, and the mansion was eerily quiet. Well, almost.
Leo Moretti, the seven-year-old mafia heir, was once again in trouble. No surprise there.
Celestia rubbed her temples, feeling a headache coming on as she stared at the giant wall of pillows in the living room.
"Leo, what in the world did you do to the living room this time?" she asked, trying to contain the exasperation in her voice.
Leo, dressed in a mini-suit (because apparently, that's how mafia heirs dressed at night), stood in front of his makeshift fortress of pillows, holding up a large plastic map and pretending to lead an army.
"I'm planning an invasion, Auntie!" he declared, as if that was the most normal thing in the world.
"Invasion?" Celestia asked, her hand going to her face in disbelief. "Who exactly are you planning to invade?"
Leo looked at her as if she were the one being unreasonable. "The enemies! Duh! The bad guys. Gotta take over the world, Auntie!"
Celestia rubbed her eyes. This kid. "I'm afraid your world domination plan has to wait. I've got work to do."
"Work? But it's midnight!" Leo shouted in outrage. "You can't do that! You've gotta help me conquer the world!"
Draven, who had been quietly lurking in the corner, finally spoke up. "I'm pretty sure conquering the world isn't on the agenda right now."
Leo, not missing a beat, turned his piercing gaze on Draven. "Why are you so serious? You're not a fun guy. You're like a boring mafia guy."
Draven raised an eyebrow. "I'm in a mafia family, kid. You wanna be one of us, you gotta learn how to be serious."
"Nooo! Serious is boring! You gotta have fun!" Leo shouted as he jumped up and down, causing the pile of pillows to topple over.
Celestia couldn't stop the laugh that escaped her lips. "I think you've got a future in mafia humor, Leo."
That made Leo beam. "I'm the funniest guy in the family! I'm gonna make sure no one messes with us!" He grabbed his water gun and aimed it at Draven.
"Not again, Leo," Draven said, his tone dripping with warning.
But the kid wasn't listening. He shot Draven right in the face, grinning wide as the water soaked his hair.
"I got you! Bam!" Leo shouted like he'd just won the Mafia Olympics.
Draven didn't even flinch. "If you weren't the kid of the boss, I'd be tossing you in the dungeon for that."
Leo stuck his tongue out at Draven. "Try me."
At this point, Celestia was laughing too hard to continue being the responsible one. This was madness, but at least it wasn't boring.
Suddenly, the atmosphere changed. Dante's voice echoed from upstairs. "Leo, where's my phone?"
Leo froze, his eyes going wide in a panic. "Uh-oh."
Celestia immediately stiffened. "What's wrong?"
Before Leo could answer, the doorbell rang, and Dante's phone was heard ringing from somewhere in the chaos of the pillow fortress.
"Leo!" Dante shouted from the stairway. "What did I say about my phone?"
"Oh, no..." Leo muttered, his eyes shifting nervously. "I might've ...borrowed it to play games."
"Borrowed?" Celestia repeated, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "You mean you stole it?"
Leo's face fell. "I didn't steal it! I just borrowed it... without asking."
Celestia couldn't help but laugh. "Your uncle's going to love that. You're a rebel in the making, kid."
Leo winced. "Maybe it's not such a good idea to get him mad, huh?"
Before they could discuss it further, Dante stormed into the living room, looking like a mafia boss on a warpath.
"You know better than this, Leo!" Dante shouted, reaching for his phone. "I said no playing with my phone. You have your own!"
Leo quickly hid behind Celestia, hoping she'd be his shield. "Auntie! Tell him I didn't mean it!"
Celestia tried not to laugh. "I think he's got a point, Leo. You should've asked before taking it."
Dante shook his head, looking exasperated. "This kid's got no chill."
Leo peeked out from behind Celestia, giving Dante a small, pleading look. "But I didn't break anything! I swear! I was just playing games! It's not like I'm plotting world domination or something!"
Dante's glare softened, and for a moment, he almost seemed like a normal, tired father. "Fine. But you never take my phone again. Got it?"
"Got it!" Leo said, jumping out from behind Celestia and holding up a hand like he had just won a huge battle. "Deal!"
"You're lucky you're cute," Dante muttered, but the corners of his mouth twitched up in a small, reluctant smile.
"**I'm not cute! I'm a future mafia king!" Leo said, his voice full of conviction.
Celestia couldn't hold it in any longer. She burst out laughing. "A mafia king, huh? You've got big dreams, kid."
Dante shot Celestia a look. "You're encouraging him. He'll be worse than me in a few years."
"Oh, I'm not the one who gave him a toy gun," Celestia teased.
Leo gave Celestia a huge grin, clearly pleased with himself. "Auntie, you're the best!"
At that moment, a sudden bang echoed from the hallway.
A loud crash followed, making Celestia's blood run cold. She instantly sprang into action, moving toward the noise.
Dante followed quickly behind, his expression now serious. "That's not good."

When they reached the hallway, they found a massive hole in the wall. In front of the hole, a few pieces of shattered furniture lay scattered on the floor.
Leo stood in the middle of the mess, a look of pure innocence on his face.
"What the heck happened here?" Dante asked.
Leo grinned sheepishly. "I might have been testing my new secret weapon."
"Oh, no..." Celestia muttered, rubbing her temples. "You're going to be the death of me, Leo."
Dante just sighed, his shoulders sagging. "This is exactly what I was afraid of."
Celestia turned to Dante, a mischievous glint in her eye. "You know, Dante, this kid's chaos is kind of... fun. I'm not even mad."
"You will be." Dante shot back with a deadpan look. "I'll be hiring a team of bodyguards just to babysit him."
Leo piped up, "I want ninja bodyguards!"
Everyone froze, and Celestia had to fight the urge to laugh. "Sure, Leo. Whatever makes you happy."
Leo's new chaos continues as he hatches a new, unpredictable plan.
Celestia's patience is tested, and Dante's frustration builds.
The threat from the rival mafia family starts to take a more serious turn.
