Boiling Beast Bloodline-Chapter 1269 - 351: Summoning the Bow, Though It’s Shadow Magic
Chapter 1269: Chapter 351: Summoning the Bow, Though It’s Shadow Magic
What a masterful use of magic! Such low-level spells! The sharpness of battle instinct required! The impeccable timing for an attack! All of these, almost only perfect coordination could achieve such an effect!
Saint Chiao, truly Saint Chiao!
Liu was struck with the realization that he might have gone about the first half of his life the wrong way, always pursuing powerful spells, while neglecting these most basic of low-level spells. Combined with keen insight, any spell could become a deadly trump card!
"It is said that the ’Forbidden Magic Domain’ exhausts all the magic power of a Saint Level Mage, but this theory is incorrect. Look at me, I’ve still got a bit of magic power left," Master Puskas said with a light smile, "Ladies and gentlemen, in individual combat, magic should not have any level restrictions; the only difference is the mage’s ability to use it."
"Magical Beasts should not be judged on their level. The scales measuring power should be the summoner’s commanding abilities! Magic should not have any level restrictions; the only difference is the mage’s ability to use it!" Liu murmured to himself gripping his fists tightly as if having an epiphany.
"Richard, you won’t be able to learn this kind of combat method from the master. Such sophisticated coordination requires many years of practice. You can understand the principle, but you’d better not try to imitate it recklessly," Master Stefano said with a chuckle, patting Liu’s shoulder.
"In fact, saying so is unfair. Imam Aymar didn’t release his full defense-type Magic Shield; that’s why I could succeed. It was just a lucky break," Master Puskas nodded to Imam Aymar, who was sitting on the ground, "Imam Aymar, this exchange does not reflect our true strength. You have not actually lost. It’s evident that the spell just now did not have any offensive power, and the backlash hasn’t greatly affected you. You still have the strength to continue with me!"
"If I’ve lost, then I’ve lost. Not only is your magic power excellent, but your magical cultivation is far superior to mine. I am completely convinced by this defeat," Imam Aymar said as he dabbed at the corner of his mouth and slowly rose, "My strength is not comparable to Master Saint Chiao, but I would like to try my hand against everyone here. I wonder if I may have the honor?"
"If I lose, I will take my own life right here; if I win, I only ask for one request," Imam Aymar’s venomous gaze swept through the crowd as he continued, "Do you dare?"
"Nonsense! What’s there to be afraid of! I’ll take you on!" Liu jumped out again but was immediately flung to the back by a metal attraction from the Seven-Colored Dragon Ibrahim.
"I accept your challenge," Ibrahim said grandly, flying up to Imam Aymar.
"You must be the one known as the Seven-Colored Dragon, the one with the greatest physical combat strength on the Aegean Continent, right?" Imam Aymar’s piercing gaze fell upon the dashing Ibrahimovic, clicking his tongue in admiration.
"I admit you’re correct, but the Seven-Colored Dragon’s magic combat strength is also not to be underestimated," Ibrahim said with a smile. The dozens of Phantom Beast Knights that were hovering above his head fell to the ground with a "thud" as the excessive centrifugal rotation had rendered the Phantom Beast Knights frothing at the mouth and unconscious—the Phantom Beasts transformed back into huge Pangolins, lying on the ground with their tongues lolling out and eyes swirling with circles.
"That’s quite a skill," Imam Aymar said, smacking his lips and sensibly tossing away the bronze ancient tome he had been cradling in his arms. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓
"There’s even more impressive stuff," the Seven-Colored Dragon Ibrahim chuckled, his hands tracing a giant arc in the air. Suddenly, the rooftops around them turned into cascading waterfalls, thousands of feet high, with bricks and debris flying everywhere. A plethora of metal objects burst out from the houses, piercing the tiles and swirling in the air. Amidst the grinding noise, all the metal objects fused into a huge metal sphere, silently floating above the Seven-Colored Dragon.
"Powerful metal control! Unfortunately, the weight of metal you can control is still limited and cannot exceed your physical strength," Imam Aymar said with a covered smile, spreading his arms wide and mumbling a long Magic Spell softly under his breath.
The Seven-Colored Dragon’s pride and integrity naturally kept him from striking first underhandedly.
As Imam Aymar’s Magic Spell came to a slow, silent finish, a shadowy figure slowly rose from the ground. It was as thin as a piece of silk cloth, its facial features blurry; so thin it seemed a gust of wind might blow it away.
"This is the Shadow Warrior summoned by my Shadow Series Spell," Imam Aymar hummed through his nose with a smirk as the shadowy warrior stepped forward. The gigantic black sphere hanging over its head made it clear whose shadow it was—besides the Seven-Colored Dragon Ibrahim, no one else would have a metal sphere floating above their head.
Master Puskas, Master Aymar, and Master Stefano frowned at the same time.
Such Shadow Magic was truly mysterious! Only now did the three masters realize that the shadow guard was indeed a real shadow—they had initially thought it was some kind of Magical Beast from the Otherworld they hadn’t encountered before!
Controlling a shadow in battle? How bizarre!
Judging by the categories of magic encountered on the Aegean Continent, the spell closest to this Shadow Magic was the "Shadow Barrier" naturally wielded by the Mermaids of the Sea Clan—seen during the great sea and land battle. However, the "Shadow Warriors" summoned by the Mermaids used their own shadow as a medium, whereas this Shadow Mage could utilize the shadows of others.
