Chapter 71: I want to keep you

Chapter 71

But he wasn’t done.

He pulled out only to flip her over again, crawling up her body like he was obsessed—because he was. His mouth found hers, devouring her lips as he thrust back into her from the front, grinding deep.

She whimpered into the kiss, wrapping her legs around his waist, her body already overstimulated, but God—it wasn’t enough. He wasn’t enough.

"More," she begged. "Don’t stop, Rhydian, don’t you fucking stop—"

"I can’t," he growled against her mouth. "I need you. All of you."

Their bodies moved in perfect, chaotic rhythm—desire layered over desire, deeper than want, sharper than hunger. He kissed her like she was air. Touched her like she was made of flame and he didn’t care if he burned.

And then, she gasped when she felt his teeth sink into her nape, but instead of pain...all she felt was pure pleasure.

She came again with a loud moan, her nails leaving deep marks in his back, and this time, he followed—groaning her name as he spilled inside her, collapsing over her with a guttural sound that didn’t even sound human.

They stayed like that, tangled and trembling, too breathless to speak.

His forehead rested against hers, their bodies still locked together, both of them shaking from the aftermath.

Silence, hot skin, ragged breathing.

Then, his voice, low and hoarse and broken.

"I’ve never felt like this. Not ever."

She blinked up at him, eyes glassy, lips parted.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I could die in this bed with you and still think I didn’t get enough, you’re just too perfect, i could never get tired."

Her skin still tingled where his canines had been, her pulse fluttering like wings beneath the spot he’d marked. She was boneless, draped across the sheets with him half on top of her, half curled around her like he couldn’t bear to let go.

And maybe he couldn’t.

She tilted her head, eyes studying the man who had just wrecked her so thoroughly she wasn’t sure she’d ever walk the same again.

"I wasn’t expecting the bite," she said quietly, brushing her fingers over the edge of her neck where he’d bitten. "It was... intense."

Rhydian’s eyes flicked to hers, dark and still burning low with something feral, but tempered now. Saturated with guilt. And need.

"I’m sorry," he murmured, his voice hoarse. "I didn’t mean to let it go that far."

"You didn’t hurt me," she said. "You kissed me like I was the only thing that existed. And then you made me fall apart while drinking from me like I was your last breath. That wasn’t pain, Rhydian."

He exhaled, jaw tense. "Still. It’s not safe."

She reached up, dragging a nail along his chest, watching the way his muscles jumped beneath the touch. "But it wasn’t the blood that made you lose it, was it?"

He was quiet.

"Answer me, was it?"

His gaze dropped to where their bodies still touched, intimate and tangled. "You’re right."

She smiled, slow and sultry. "So tell me the real reason. What set you off?"

He let out a rough laugh, then leaned in, his lips brushing her jaw. "You."

She blinked.

"You smelled like lust and challenge. You dared me to take you. You told me with your eyes that you could handle all of me. Even the worst parts." He kissed her collarbone. "And then you begged for more."

Her breath hitched.

"I didn’t snap because of blood, Seraphina." His tongue dragged along her throat before he whispered against her ear. "I snapped because you moaned my name like a fucking spell."

Heat flooded her body again. "So now what?"

He pulled back just enough to look at her, expression serious.

"Now I can’t stop."

He rolled his hips once, slow and deep, and her eyes rolled back as she felt him grow hard again inside her, almost instantly.

"I thought one taste would be enough. But I want to do it again, again and again."

His mouth was at her ear again, voice guttural. "I want to see what you look like when I make you scream while feeding. I want to fuck you so slowly that you beg to be bitten."

She gasped, her thighs clenching around him.

"I want to keep you, Seraphina."

She blinked.

"I don’t just mean for the night."

Her heart pounded, unsure if it was fear, excitement, or something deeper clawing at her chest.

"And if I say no?" she challenged, even as her nails dragged lightly across his abs.

He growled, deep and unrepentant. "Then I’ll ruin you so thoroughly you’ll never want anyone else."

She opened her mouth to say something, but the growling sound of her stomach interrupted her.

Rhydian let out a deep amused chuckle as he brushed strands of her hair away from her face. "Looks like someone is more hungry than I am." He said softly, the hunger in his eyes dying almost immediately.

He leaned down, kissing her nose before pulling back with a smirk. "Come on, let me feed you before I forget how to be a gentleman."

She scoffed, shifting under him as he finally, reluctantly, withdrew and rolled onto his side. "Too late for that," she muttered, wincing a little as she moved. "My legs might never forgive you."

He gave her a smug grin and reached for the blanket, tugging it over her gently. "Your legs won’t hesitate to squeeze me when I come between them."

She shot him a glare, but there was no real heat behind it—just a flicker of amusement and something more dangerous in her eyes. "You’re really full of yourself for someone who just tried to bite me into submission."

"I didn’t try. I did. And you liked it." He raised a brow as he stood, completely unashamed in his nakedness.

Seraphina sat up slowly, clutching the blanket to her chest. "And you did too...or didn’t you?"

His movement stilled.
