Morningstar Family Estate:

--------------------

On a sprawling training ground, excitement crackled in the air.

Around a hundred children, aged 15 to 19, stood with bright eyes and focused expressions.

Their faces glowed with confidence, a stark contrast to their past lives on the streets just months ago.

These young children are the ones Felix brought from the streets and the slumps and brought into the nurturing embrace of the Morningstar Family.

Once frail and malnourished, these kids now sported healthier physiques, their sunken cheeks filled out and their vacant gazes replaced with vibrant spirit.

They had transformed from scrappy street dwellers into budding knights and mages, a dream they never dared to imagine.

With hearty meals that included meat whenever they desired, cozy beds wrapped in warm blankets, and comfortable clothes to wear, what was once fantasy had become their new reality.

Among this group were those who had successfully harnessed Mana within themselves, creating their own Mana Veins.

Out of the thousands rescued from dire circumstances, about seven hundred had risen to this challenge.

Most were Knights; only a select few, less than ten, had reached the level of Mages.

Dressed in sleek black training attire emblazoned with a striking nine-pointed star on their backs, each child wielded weapons of choice as they eagerly awaited instruction.

In front of them stood around a hundred instructors clad in more luxurious black garments, the weakest among them being a Tier 4 High-Level Knight and the strongest being Instructor Max, an impressive Tier 6 Epic Knight on the verge of breaking through to Tier 7 Legendary Knight status.

With hands clasped behind his back, Instructor Max surveyed his eager students with pride swelling in his chest.

He felt fulfilled knowing he was shaping these young talents into formidable warriors, a far cry from his days spent fighting battles alone in the army.

His gaze flickered toward a small boy gripping daggers at his waist, then shifted to another boy confidently resting a halberd across his back.

"Alright everyone," Instructor Max called out, stepping forward as anticipation rippled through the crowd. "Today marks your trial day! You'll be tested on your ability to survive for seven days at the outermost part of the Twilight Mountain Range."

A hush fell over them as he continued: "Those who succeed will earn promotion to Outer Family Members! And don't worry if you don't pass this time; you can always try again during future trials."

The children listened intently as he reassured them about safety measures: "Instructors will accompany you into the Twilight Mountain Range for support, but remember: if any instructor has to save you from danger, it means you've failed."

Solemnity washed over their faces as determination took root, they all shared one thought: passing this trial was essential for becoming Outer Family Members.

"Any questions?" Instructor Max called out, his voice booming as he scanned the eager faces in the crowd.

But silence hung in the air; no one dared to raise a hand.

"Alright then, since there are no questions, let's move out!" he declared, waving his hand with enthusiasm.

Instantly, hundreds of children sprang into action, following closely behind Instructor Max and the other instructors.

Laughter and chatter filled the air as they walked, each child wearing a unique expression, some beamed with confidence while others wore solemn looks of determination.

The diversity of their emotions painted a vivid picture of anticipation.

A few minutes later, they arrived at a vast parking area where rows of enormous carriages, each as large as a bus, stood majestically, pulled by magnificent Magical Horses.

Instructor Max turned to face the group with an encouraging smile. "Okay everyone, board the carriages now! For the next seven days, you'll be staying in the Twilight Mountain Range. Prepare your minds; you might encounter countless dangers along the way."

Nodding in unison, the children quickly formed groups and climbed aboard their respective carriages.

Moments later, all were settled in and ready for adventure.

"Let's set out!" Instructor Max shouted excitedly as he hopped into the lead carriage.

With that command, all the carriages rumbled to life and sped away into the distance.

Instead of taking the main road through Wulleamp District, which would surely attract attention, they veered onto a lesser-known path leading out of Capital City.

-------------------

Days passed swiftly until they reached a remote corner of the outer Twilight Mountain Range.

The landscape was stark and eerily quiet except for occasional roars from deep within the mountains and birds chirping overhead.

Suddenly, a massive cloud of dust appeared on the horizon, rapidly approaching their location.

Moments later, those grand carriages pulled by Magical Horses came to an abrupt stop.

Instructor Max stepped out first and surveyed his surroundings before nodding approvingly. "Alright everyone! You can get out of your carriages now," he announced.

With rustling sounds echoing from dozens of carriages, curious children began to emerge like wide-eyed explorers stepping into a new world for the first time.

Many had never ventured beyond Astheria's towering walls or traveled this far to witness such renowned sights as those offered by Twilight Mountain Range.

Gazing up at mountains that stretched infinitely into the sky left them both amazed and awestruck.

"So this is Twilight Mountain Range? It's absolutely gigantic!" one child exclaimed.

"Yeah! I heard it's crawling with terrifying Magical Beasts and other monsters," another chimed in nervously.

"Dang! These mountains are really something else!" someone else remarked breathlessly.

"Forget about those mountains! Look at those giant trees, it's like they're trying to pierce through the sky!" another pointed out excitedly.

"And even this grass is taller than me!" piped up yet another child said with deep shock in his voice.

The children were really shocked as they widened their eyes and looked around and exclaim from time to time.

Huge gasps and breathing can be heard from them.

"Alright children welcome to the famous Twilight Mountain Range " Instructor Max stepped forward and said with a wide grin on his broad face.

All the children turned to Instructor Max, their hands tightly clenched into fists, eyes wide with a mix of excitement and fear. Instructor Max scanned their nervous faces and broke into a reassuring smile. "As I mentioned earlier,"

He began, his voice steady and confident, "you will be staying in this part of the outer Twilight Mountain Range for seven days. During this time, you will encounter countless dangers and may even face attacks from magical beasts!"

With a dramatic wave of his hand, he signaled to the other instructors.

They stepped forward, each holding small bamboo sticks adorned with a tiny robe.

The children stared at the sticks in their hands, curiosity etched on their faces as they turned back to Instructor Max, seeking clarity.

"These bamboo sticks are your emergency signals," he explained earnestly. "If you find yourself in danger that feels insurmountable, pull the robe! Nearby instructors will rush to your aid.

But remember, when you pull that signal, don't just stand still; prioritize your safety! If you activate it, it means you've failed the trial." His voice rose with urgency as he emphasized his point.

"Understood?" Instructor Max asked loudly.

"Yes!" all the children replied in unison, determination shining in their eyes.

"Good!" He nodded approvingly before adding, "You have thirty minutes to prepare yourselves. Make sure you're ready!"

The children sprang into action, gathering equipment and supplies for their week-long adventure ahead, every detail mattered; they couldn't afford to be careless.

Turning to his fellow instructors with a serious expression, Instructor Max said firmly, "This time we must ensure that every child returns safely. The Family Head specifically instructed us that all must come back unharmed, no mistakes."

"Yes," echoed the instructors solemnly.

With a nod of approval from Instructor Max, everyone got busy assigning tasks and preparing for what lay ahead.

Before long, thirty minutes had flown by like a whisper in the wind.

"Alright everyone! Time's up!" Instructor Max called out as all activity came to an abrupt halt.

The children stood shoulder-to-shoulder at the edge of the Twilight Mountain Range, solemn expressions replacing their earlier excitement.

"You may enter now," Instructor Max announced. "Good luck!"

In an exhilarating rush, the children dashed toward the mountain range's entrance, a sea of eager adventurers ready to face whatever challenges awaited them within its depths.

Minutes later, after hundreds of young explorers had disappeared into the mysterious mountainside leaving only Instructor Max and his team behind...

"Take your positions," he commanded before vanishing from sight.

The other instructors followed suit with remarkable speed as they entered the Twilight Mountain Range themselves, only the magical horses and carriages remained at the entrance.
