Cartel Experience-Chapter 58: I Don’t Like Red Wine.
Two hours later, César finally managed to get where he needed to be, though it would have been better and way faster if he didn’t stop to look around, buy a pack of cigarettes, and talk with random people on the way like he was a familiar face or something. To be true, he had all the freedom, and moreover, when he arrived at the neighborhood, nothing really happened.
One would think that a neighborhood where millionaires, billionaires, and influential people live would have tight security, but there was only one person in the guard booth playing a videogame or something on his laptop. So, it took no time for César to go to a part that was in the darkness and not really visible, and he just climbed the fence with ease and from there, he just walked to the road and followed the GPS.
"How beautiful..." He whispered as he was looking at the mansions.
[System: Once you start making money, you can buy one.]
"I feel safer in a high-rise than in a mansion."
[System: A high-rise is one way in, one way out, while in a mansion you can run, build a tunnel system, or so on.]
"I mean you can jump out with a parachute, have a helicopter on the top, there are many ways to slip out." César said as he was still mesmerized by the houses, though what he said was true.
At least the part that he can parachute out from a high-rise, because he witnessed somebody doing it. Though that person died as he struck another high-rise thought it worked technically and the helicopter option one is just bad for several reasons. Moreover it is how the System said, one way in and out.It is perfect for a final battle, while a mansion can be bombed or attacked from all sides.
"Look at that." César’s voice came again as he stopped and smiled at the sight in front of him. "It looks like an open invitation."
[System: It might be.]
Sirina mansion was literally glowing with warm-colored spotlights and LED strips like it was a Christmas decoration, and the gate was wide open without one single soul there.
It was too obvious that something was up.
"Double iron gates for protection, but they are open and not even one person, not even a car." César whispered as he looked at the street end and saw nothing.
[System: Obvious trap.]
"Well, I feel excited about it." That smile spread across his face again as he knew something was waiting for him behind the gates, that maybe he would get caught, maybe tortured, or they would shoot him on the spot.
There were many situations possible, and that is why he pulled out the gun with the suppressor, switched off the safety, and slowly walked through the gates and well, it got more obvious that it was indeed an invitation.
Like, those gates were fucking iron-casted ones, and not just that, but in between the two gates were automatic bollards that could fucking stop a truck. Not just that, but as he was looking around, he noticed that the wall itself surrounding the mansion was a brick one, and at the top of it, there was a line which he guessed to be electrified.
In short, the protection was on top, but not a single one of them acted to actually protect her house or her.
It truly seemed like an open invitation, so he thought then he would answer the invitation properly, but the front door was locked, so he turned to the side, following the footpath to the back, and there she was.
"Whoah... a zombie." she spoke as soon as she noticed César. "Or a ghost?"
Silence nothing more as César just stood there looking at her.
What the fuck is this? He thought as he was genuinely surprised by this, that it was truly an invitation and that Sirina was sitting at the table that was made, with plates on it, wine, and that she was in a red dress, makeup on, looking gorgeous.
It was surreal and disappointing.
[System: Typical trick. It happened to you many times.]
And it always ended with at least ten bodies, but this... this is sad.
That was the main point of disappointment and the excitement vanishing from César, that this in front of him was a late-night dinner, was not about killing each other from her side but moreover talking into something else, peace or so... but in his past lives, something like this happened differently.
A boss invited another one to a good "family dinner" which ended in a big fucking massacre, bodies upon bodies, and it happened so frequently that the law enforcement with their dumbass understood the meaning of "family dinners."
It was a codeword to kill each other privately rather than waging a war.
"Are you going to stand there and leave a lady alone?" Sirina’s voice came, pulling César out of his thoughts, and César was just disgusted with her. At the interrogation room she showed a woman of power, but now she was a bitch.
"I even bought wine and—"
Well, the wine didn’t last long as César shot it out of Sirina’s hand.
"I don’t like red wine." César began as he eyed her, and well, the shot did what César wanted. Some fragments cut Sirina’s hand a bit, blood dripping, and her eyes suddenly turned back to this powerful woman... that Director look. "Nor do I like somebody who thinks I am dumb enough to sit down and talk like we are friends." César said and with it aimed his pistol and pulled the trigger. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
She collapsed across the table, knocking everything to the floor, then rolled to the side as four bullets hit her in the chest.
[System: You said you wouldn’t kill her.]
César didn’t answer as he went and stood over Sirina as she was struggling to breathe... as those tears rolled down her face.
It was a pleasure to see somebody suffering who has a name, a person who is a force in this world... César was enjoying every second of it.
"You know, darling." He began as he pushed the pistol to her forehead. "It is a dumb idea to put a bulletproof vest under a dress that shows your figure, don’t you think?" César kept smiling, but then his left hand slowly went under Sirina’s dress up to her inner thigh. "Oh, what a surprise." César smiled more as he pulled out a pistol that was strapped to her. "You know how to hide things, darling."
Poor Sirina. Not a single word came out of her mouth. No, she was still struggling, while at the same time the desperation hit her too, that maybe she was truly going to die like this, while this motherfucker watched with that fuck-ass manic smile, enjoying every single second.
