CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 132: Gang Building

The wraiths were cut down like paper. Their bodies scattered on the ground.

A wraith that was cut in half still tried to crawl away. As Selina landed, she plunged the sword onto it. The few others were also quickly killed with a few swings.

Mater jumped out of the pile of trash with a wraith in his mouth. The wraith squirmed and tried to get out. The black jaguar crushed down its jaw and killed the wraith. The wraith’s bodies were dissolved quickly and turned into pure Chaos going inside Mater.

The black cat opened its mouth and absorbed the remaining wraiths.

"So weak." Selina said.

"They are level 1 and level 2 after all."

Three level 1 and two level 2. This provided Mater with another 17 Chaos Spheres. He had 23 Spheres in total.

"Let’s continue."

They spent the remaining afternoon finishing off the weak wraiths in the junkyard. There were surprisingly a huge amount of wraiths. In the end, they killed a total of 17 wraiths, not counting the first five.

This increased Mater’s total Chaos Spheres to 79.

"Lots of Chaos to spare and used for other Rituals." The jaguar growled.

Along with wraiths, they also found many bodies. Most were killed by knives and a few by guns. The violence of this area was unmatched any other. This junkyard was a favourite place for the local gang to drop the bodies in. No one batted an eye.

"That should be it." The jaguar turned back into a black cat.

Mater stretched his small cat body. "Haven’t had a fun time like that for a while."

Warlocks were spell casters. But they could also be melee fighters. That was what the Demonic Arsenal was created for.

"Should we phone Alister about these bodies?" Aurora said.

"Not necessary. The ACPD should know about this already. These are probably criminals of the local gang." Selina said. She saw things more clearly and more dark while in this form.

"She is right. It will be in the report we send the ACPD anyway. If they want to do something about it, they can decide." The black cat meowed.

The group exited the junkyard. They disappeared down the street and went to their next bounty.

A thug hiding in a corner popped his head out. He took out a phone.

"Yes, Boss. They are Bounty Hunters and seem very strong." The thug spoke with someone on the other line.

Mater and Selina continued to check the other bountiful. The remaining ones weren’t that fruitful like the first two. Most were false positives and only two had wraiths.

They killed another two weak level 1 wraiths and increased Mater’s Chaos Spheres to 85.

Then they arrived at the final location.

"Potential Controlled NCE in Slum Slopes

Case Description: The local gang Haland Boys potentially holds an NCE captive. It is unknown whether the Haland Boys can or cannot control the NCE.

Related Information: Potential NCE existence. If the gang does possess an NCE or have a Psychic(s), supernatural measures are accepted. Otherwise, do not engage with supernatural means to protect the Lutheria Accords.

Location: Slump Slopes, Aeliz City.

Objective: Confirm the existence of the NCE. Neutralize the NCE if possible. Neutralize the gang if it does possess an NCE.

Reward: Depends on the result. Minimum 5000 credits - 20 tokens. (Credits and tokens reward will be lowered by 50% for Bronze Rank Hunter).

Aurora read the last mission to Selina and Mater.

"Neutralize the NCE and the gang, huh? The government doesn’t see eye to eye with these criminals either." The black cat widened his grin.

"Pretty generous reward for an Iron Bounty." Selina said.

Mater nodded, "It involves a local gang after all. The danger of an NCE might not be confirmed but any Investigator would face the Haland Boys."

"I will deal with them with my fist. No need for supernatural power before seeing the NCE." Selina said.

"Very well."

The group approached an ancient building that looked like it was abandoned. But there were people standing around in the front. The walls were filled with graffiti and all kinds of scribbles. Most of the windows were blocked off.

Selina walked to the entrance. She scanned the thugs in front of the house through her visor.

A few thugs stopped her.

"Where’re you think you’re going, freak?" A man spoke up, he lifted up his shirt to reveal his low-hanging pants and the gun tucked on his waist.

Selina grabbed the thug and slammed his head into the wall.

"Ugh..." The thug didn’t even see what happened as he slumped to the ground.

"Motherf..."

A thug took out a machete to slash at Selina. She deflected it with her forearm. The armor sent the machete flying.

Selina kicked the thug in between the legs, causing him to crumble. She stuck the sword on the ground as the thugs closed in on her.

The first thug jumped up and delivered a spinning back kick. The kick landed on Selina but didn’t move her a bit. She grabbed his leg and threw him at the wall. His back let out crunchy bone noise.

Two other thugs slashed at her at the same time from behind. Their machetes broke in two when it met the armor.

Selina spun and elbowed the first one. With her momentum, she kicked her heel at the head of the second one. Sending them both to the land of slumber.

"Oh shit! Oh shit! Oh shit!" A thug rushed inside the building to warn others. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

A few ran away. A few stayed behind to stop Selina.

She moved like an unstoppable tank, dropping bodies wherever she went and slowly moving inside the building.

"Damn, girl. You’re bad." Mater licked his mouth then followed Selina inside.

Aurora kept an innocent smile and walked behind the two of them.

Inside the tight hallway, two thugs came at Selina at the same time. The dark knight kicked both of them in the belly, sending them straight back and on the floor.

A thug finally got his hand on a gun and aimed at Selina.

The gun roared loudly in the tight space. The bullet bounced off of Selina’s armor.

She turned toward that thug. The thug pulled the trigger like a mad man, now aiming at the exposed lower face of Selina.

The armor extended itself, covering her face entirely. All the bullets bounced off like plastics.

"No fucking way!" The thug screamed in despair as Selina grabbed his head and put it through the wall.
