CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 155: Farming Rituals

"Ask the cat for help, Selina!" Becky’s trembling voice echoed. "I can’t hold it for long..."

"He does not need to do anything." Selina said.

She waved her left hand at the wraith. The floor beneath them constricted and pulled the wraith right at Selina. Her glowing red hand shot forward and punched at the face of wraith.

The wraith wasn’t able to dodge and got hit in the face. Selina sent it flying and slamming onto the wall.

When Selina hurt it, something was interrupted. Loretta felt the pain was lifted off of her and slowly crawled back up.

"My Mental Link didn’t work. When I connected with it, I saw something very terrifying. It made my brain want to explode."

"What did you see?" Becky said.

Loretta shook her head, "I don’t remember."

’Huh. She saw something terrified but can’t remember it. It must be the image of the god behind this cult,’ the black cat stroked its whiskers in deep thoughts, ’Selina is getting very good with Chaos Flesh and Chaos Control.’

"Can you hold it again, Becky?" Selina said.

"I’ll try..." Becky gulped involuntarily.

"What about me?" Loretta said.

"Do you have any skill other than Mental Link?" Selina said.

"I do Brain Freeze as well." Loretta nodded.

"Use it then."

"Here it comes!" Becky shouted.

The wraith got itself back up and rushed at the group again. Becky used ’Brain Freeze’ again to restrict the movement of the wraith. She wasn’t strong enough to immobilize it completely.

But Loretta was there. Her tentacles were smaller and more delicate than Becky but they were very agile. They reached behind the wraith and grabbed its wrist, preventing it from attacking Selina.

"Very good, Loretta."

Selina got close. Her two hands glowed up in Red as she reinforced them with Chaos. Her punch didn’t do much damage to the wraith so she tried something else.

The goth girl grabbed the head of the wraith and twisted it 180 degrees backwards. She snapped its neck cleanly with the bone breaking sound echoed super crisp.

The wraith growled before falling down and started to fade away.

The black cat jumped down from the flying book and opened its mouth wide. From the view of outsiders, he scooped up a mouthful of air and swallowed.

Mater collected the Chaos exuded out of the wraith and got another three Chaos Spheres.

"What did it do?" Loretta rushed over quickly and picked Mater up.

He was about to send her flying but suddenly he felt something big and soft pushing into his body.

The woman hugged him tightly while her hands were trying to open Mater’s mouth.

"This woman... has some big cushions! Holy hell!" The cat purred loudly. It got out of Loretta’s hand and climbed inside her dress.

"What are you doing, kitty?! Hahaha! Don’t touch there! No! No! Ummm..."

Becky sweated as she watched the cat violently violate Loretta. The woman tried to catch Mater but he moved like a worm inside her dress and touched her everywhere.

Selina came and slipped her hand inside Loretta’s shirt. She caught the black cat and pulled it out.

His face was extremely red and he looked extremely pleased with himself.

"Mr. Mater! You can’t just harass people like that!"

"Hehehe. I’ll do whatever I want." The black cat stuck out a tongue mischievously before jumping off Selina’s hands.

Loretta had fallen onto her knees. One side of her dress fell off the shoulder and her hair was all messed up. Coincidentally, she looked much better right now than before.

"Woah. You actually look better with messy hair." Becky said.

Loretta’s cheeks were as blush as roses. She got back up and readjusted her clothes and hair.

Surprisingly, Loretta didn’t seem too upset. She stared at Mater for quite a while. A very questionable, endearing glance.

"Want some more, baby doll?" The black cat’s deep voice echoed.

Loretta covered her face and turned away.

Becky rubbed her temple in disdain.

Selina snickered like a little gremlin. She couldn’t deny that she found everything very amusing.

They decided to not talk about what happened and continued on solving the case.

"What exactly happened? Why did that NCE appear out of nowhere?" Loretta said.

Becky squatted near one of the ritual circles and ran her hand over it. Electricity shot out of it and repelled her hand.

"Probably because of these circles. There is some sort of a barrier that prevents me from touching it. I wonder if it is safe to break it." Becky said.

"Nope. Don’t let them destroy it!" The black cat meowed loudly.

"Why is that, Mr. Mater?" Selina blinked her eyes in confusion.

"These Primordial Rituals are concentrating the Chaos to spawn these wraiths. It is a foolish thing to destroy them. We can use them to gather more Chaos. Do you know what I mean?"

The black cat danced its eyebrows up and down.

"Ohhhhhhhhh!"

"What did it say?" Becky approached the pair of owner and cat closer.

"Uhm... I think we don’t need to destroy these circles." Selina said.

"What?! Why?"

"Because we can use it to practice our Psychic Skills, of course." Selina grinned.

Loretta and Becky looked at each other. Psychic was familiar with NCEs. That was true. But this was the first time they heard that someone wanted to use them as ’training dummies’.

"You must be crazy, Selina. We can’t toy with our lives like this!" Becky said.

Selina’s expression changed immediately. Her smile disappeared and she turned serious. The face that she used to make when she wore the Abyssal Helmet.

"Aren’t you curious why I’m so strong?" Selina whispered.

Becky nodded.

"This is why. To be stronger you must risk everything. I won’t allow you to destroy these circles. Because I need them. Any objection?"

Becky and Loretta shook their heads. They were totally not going to mess with her after what they had seen.

Selina smiled as her face turned brighter. "We all agree then! Let’s go around the mansion and kill some more NCEs!"

’Hah. I thought I was crazy. She has become even crazier than me...’ Loretta thought to herself.

’So this is the world of geniuses. They want to become stronger so much they don’t care about their own safety...’ Becky thought to herself.

The group left the private meditation room and went looking for more wraiths around the mansion.
