Celestial Speed: Legacy-Chapter 60: At Last

"Well, I’m glad you decided to choose this path, i promise you won’t regret it," Felicity replied with a gentle smile. Trying to sound humble.

"Save it mum, you and i both know you are pretending to be surprised. Afterall you already knew how this would end, didn’t you?" Henry said

Felicity smiled and placed her hands on her chest. "Oh it warms heart to hear you finally call me mum, but you’re right I know what would happen next and no i will not tell you who the celestial is," she stated with a joyful expression. She was really happy about everything going as planned.

Henry chuckled, he felt happy that she was overjoyed. "I guess it won’t be a bad thing to try... But I won’t place all my trust in her just yet," he stated inwardly, not surprised at her last words as he had indeed wanted to ask about the celestial. It only proved her claim.

"Alright fine, would you atleast answer my other questions?" he voiced out

"Sure," she replied

"Great, there are actually so many questions like how you know i reincarnated or that I have a personality disorder or that I have a system but i know you will either say it’s because you saw my memories or just pin it all on the mystery celestial," Henry muttered

"Oh Henry, you have no idea how right you are," Felicity chuckled

"Alright, so just tell me, how do I find the other gods... Well legacy holders?" Henry asked

"This is what I’ve been expecting you to say, you see i was going to advise you to make strong friends and allies, including fishing for any celestial you can find and befriending them. This was why I wanted you to attend the academy, so you can gather strong, trusted allies that can fight by your side," Felicity explained

"But as for the other legacy holders, I’m afraid we have only managed to discover 2 out of five, including you. The other three are unidentified and basically can’t be for yet, but we are trying our best to do so,"

Henry nodded in understanding. "But can you be sure that the other gods actually left any legacy behind? And how do you even identify them? I mean they could be anyone, an old man or even some baby," he stated

"It was confirmed that all 5 gods created systems and had them hold their legacies but we can’t know who will be picked or when. Infact yours was a lucky exclusion, we knew you would reincarnate into this world on that very day you did since five years ago,"

"The only thing we have as a detector now is the system, apparently only two are active which means the other three have either not found a suitable holder yet or is just dormant in the body of the host," Felicity explained, to which Henry nodded in understanding.

"So there’s a possibility that whoever would wield the other three haven’t been born or... reincarnated yet. But who is the second person?" he asked

Felicity smiled. "That’s classified information for now, you should just worry about getting faster and entering the academy for now. But something tells me you two will meet very soon," she replied and stood up

"Alright, i guess getting stronger and faster is what really matters right now," Henry mumbled

"Correct, but don’t worry if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. I’ll gladly answer them all if I’m able, but remember there are some things I don’t know about the celestial myths. Things that only the gods themselves can answer," Felicity said

"Oh okay," Henry replied. He didn’t really understand her last statement, were they supposed to pray to the gods or something, before they could communicate.

"We should head back home and have you level up, shall we?" Felicity said with a smile

Henry was shocked. "She knows about that! Wait can she see the system screen as well?" he pondered

"Yes i know, and I think all you need to do is purchase some exp. No?" she replied, having read his thoughts

"Yeah that’s true, i can’t believe i forgot. Haha this is too perfect, i was so worried to death about the stupid quest. You are the best mum, wait!" Henry was blabbering out with excitement before suddenly pausing

"How did you know about, the level up and the exp purchase?" he asked suspiciously

"Simple, i went through your memories and No i can’t see the screen. Though I could if I wanted to," Felicity simply stated

Henry was dumbfounded, what did she mean if she wanted to? Doesn’t that mean she could do anything? But there was a more pressing issue he had to deal with first

"Alright, i don’t even want to think much about any of this. But if I will become your son, i have some conditions," he said and stood up from the chair

"Okay let’s hear them," Felicity replied and yawned slightly. She was clearly sleepy after the day... rather night’s event.

"First, you are not allowed to read my mind. And second, you cannot treat me like a baby, or be overprotective. If not i will detach myself just like Emily," Henry stated. He was starting to realize why Emily had probably left the room which he now owned.

"Sure okay, deal. Anything else?" Felicity said with a smile

"Huh?" Henry was surprised, he didn’t expect her to accept so easily. He had even prepared for another debate to make his stand.

"I agree to your conditions, although I have one of my own as well," she added with a mischievous grin

"What’s that?" Henry asked curiously

"Simple, no takebacks. Which means after this is agreed, you can’t ever decide to quit or want out, you’ll be my son, always and forever," Felicity stated and without waiting for Henry to reply, snapped her fingers. And immediately they were back in the dining room, each sitting on a chair and now faced with numerous treats and snacks. It was like they never left.

"I just remembered it’s time for dessert," Felicity smiled and picked up a cupcake from the pyramid of cupcakes placed on the table. She took a bite from it and sighed with satisfaction

"Yeah that’s the stuff, alright Henry why don’t you help yourself to some treats, mummy has to go to bed now. I’m really tired, but don’t worry we’ll continue our conversation later, we have all the time in the world together," Felicity said before standing up and walk into towards the door

"I can’t eat all this," Henry mumbled, staring at the platter of dessert treats placed on the table. Ice creams of different flavors, cakes of different colors and chocolates of various shapes and sizes.

"Just eat what you can okay, we’ll have a proper welcome feast some other day," Felicity voiced out as she opened the door and left the dining, leaving Henry to his sweet-filled strawberry shortcake adventure.

"Well, i better take what I can and get down to business. I will have to exchange the rest of my credits, good thing I saved them that time. They would be very useful now," he thought and began to dig into the mountain of treats.

A few minutes later, Henry got up from the chat and left the dining. He had made sure not to eat too much snacks, he didn’t want to spoil his perfect body structure. But as soon as he got out, he was met with the old man from before, Wallace.

"Oh young master, you’re finished," he said to Henry who seemed to lost in a partial form of sugar rush. He didn’t eat much, but had drank a lot of chocolate.

"Um... yeah yeah, i am. What’s sweetin?" Henry replied with a sleepy tone, trying to fight back the oppression of the excess chocolate.

"Alright, the mistress said i should direct you to your room and give you this," Wallace stated, and brought out a gold card with black outlines

Henry’s eyes widened as he recognized the card, whatever rush he was feeling completely erased. It was an AC card for sweet’s sake.

"Mother is so generous," Henry replied and collected the card from Wallace and followed him back to the room, where he took a shower and was now on the bed, getting ready to break through his first milestone.
