Celestial Speed: Legacy-Chapter 72: Colossal worm S2
As they entered the simulation room, Henry marveled at it’s vastness once again, he just couldn’t get used it. The room was a large, square space with a diameter of at least 50 meters.
Felicity led Henry to the center of the room, where a small console stood. She began to tap on the console’s screen, and the room began to transform around them.
"The simulator can generate any environment we want," Felicity explained, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "We can simulate anything from a simple sprinting track to a complex, urban landscape. The possibilities are endless."
As she spoke, the room began to take on the appearance of a scorching hot desert. The walls and floor transformed into endless dunes of golden sand, and the air was filled with the blistering heat of the desert sun. The sky above turned a brilliant blue, with only a few wispy clouds scattered across the horizon.
Henry’s eyes darted around the room, taking in the incredible detail of the simulation. He could feel the heat radiating up from the sand, and the air was thick with the scent of sand and rock. It was all too incredible and real.
Felicity grinned, clearly pleased with Henry’s reaction. "Ready to start your training?" she asked, her voice dripping with anticipation.
Henry nodded, his heart racing with excitement. He knew that this simulator was the key to unlocking his true potential as a speedster.
With a nod, Felicity activated the simulation, and Henry dashed away from the spot, he felt himself being transported to a world of high-speed challenges and obstacles. The room became a blur of color and sound, and Henry’s senses were pushed to the limit as he sprinted across the desert sand, his feet pounding the virtual earth with incredible speed and agility.
The simulation was so real, so immersive, that Henry forgot that he was actually in a room. He was completely absorbed in the virtual world, his senses heightened as he responded to the challenges and obstacles that the simulator threw his way.
Felicity watched from an inner room, one merged to the simulation room, monitoring Henry’s progress and adjusting the simulation as needed, using the console provided in the room. She was impressed by his natural talent and his ability to adapt to the challenges of the simulator.
As the simulation continued, Henry found himself facing increasingly tougher challenges. He sprinted across the desert, avoiding deadly terrains and leaping over massive sand dunes. He ran through canyons, dodging rocks and boulders as he navigated the treacherous terrain.
The simulator pushed Henry to his limits, testing his speed, agility, and reflexes. And Henry was able to run at full speed because Felicity seemed to have reduced the density and amount of air in the desert, so he didn’t need to worry about physics, ruining his fun.
After a while, Henry found himself facing a massive, virtual sandstorm that seemed to stretch up to the sky. The storm was filled with powerful winds and massive sand particles, and Henry knew that he had to overcome it if he wanted to succeed.
With a deep breath, Henry launched himself at the storm, his feet pounding the virtual earth as he sprinted towards the challenge.
As Henry charged into the sandstorm, the winds howled around him, threatening to rip him off his feet. The sand particles stung his skin, reducing visibility to almost zero. But Henry refused to back down. He used his speed and agility to navigate through the storm, his senses on high alert as he dodged and weaved through the turbulent air.
The storm raged on, its fury unabated, but Henry persevered. He drew on every ounce of strength and determination he possessed, his legs pumping furiously as he battled his way through the tempest.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Henry emerged from the storm, his eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of the next challenge. The desert landscape stretched out before him, seemingly endless and unforgiving.
But Henry was undaunted. He took a deep breath, his chest heaving with exhaustion, and launched himself forward once more. The desert floor blurred beneath his feet as he sprinted across the sand, his speed and agility carrying him effortlessly across the dunes. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
Felicity watched from the inner room, a look of intense focus on her face. She was impressed by Henry’s determination and skill, but she knew that the simulation was far from over. A mischievous smirk grew on her face as she pushed a few buttons on the console.
As Henry continued to run, the desert landscape began to shift and change around him. The dunes grew steeper and more treacherous, the sand swirling around him in maddening vortexes.
Henry’s eyes narrowed, his senses on high alert as he navigated the ever-changing landscape. He leapt and dodged, his agility and quick reflexes allowing him to avoid the worst of the obstacles.
But despite his best efforts, Henry couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being herded towards some unknown fate. The simulation seemed to be pushing him towards a specific goal, but he had no idea what that goal might be.
As he ran, the desert landscape grew more and more distorted, the sand and rock swirling around him in a maddening dance. Henry’s senses reeled, his mind struggling to keep up with the ever-changing environment.
But then, he suddenly felt a rumbling beneath his feet. The ground began to shake and tremble, and Henry’s eyes widened in confusion. "What’s going on? he voiced out with concern, feeling uneasy.
Felicity’s voice came through the simulator’s speakers, her tone calm and collected. "Final obstacle, Henry. You need to outrun it."
Henry was now more clueless. "Outrun what?" he asked with a greater sense of panic and unease, just before the ground beneath and around him began to crack.
But before Henry could even process what was happening, a massive, worm-like creature burst out of the ground in front of him. The creature was enormous, its body as long as a skyscraper and its diameter as wide as a city street. Its skin was a deep, sandy brown, and it seemed to blend seamlessly into the desert environment. It was like the Colossal Grotto worm, but much larger and more terrifying.
The creature’s body was covered in tiny, hair-like protrusions that rippled and flexed as it moved. Its mouth was a massive, gaping maw filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. The creature’s eyes glowed with an eerie, blue light, and they seemed to be fixed intently on Henry.
