Chapter 202: Celestial Heights

After finalizing the plan, Mary excused herself from Rei, Anton, and Roana in Anton’s study to freshen up before going to bed. She opted not to participate in their discussions to minimize the chance of making mistakes by limiting her knowledge of the plan.

To maintain the deception, they collectively agreed to continue portraying Mary’s dislike for Roana, ensuring that Kevin and the others would believe it. They also made an agreement to withhold the details of their plan from Amy and Henry, ensuring the effectiveness of their staging for everyone involved.

Enjoying a warm bath, Mary’s thoughts wander whether Roana’s interest in Anton had truly subsided. Yet, she made a conscious decision to allow time to unveil the truth rather than hastily jumping to conclusions.

After stepping out of the bath, Mary noticed that Anton was still not in the room and she was still not sleepy yet. So she decided to do some work on her laptop since she is also covering for Amy for the whole week.

Unaware of the passing time, Mary felt a slight strain in her eyes after an extended period of staring at the screen. She decided to give them a momentary rest.

However, unknown to her, the moment she closed her eyes while sitting on the bed with her laptop on her lap, she unintendedly drifted into a deep slumber.

Just in the nick of time, Anton entered the room and managed to catch Mary’s laptop, preventing it from tumbling onto the floor. Amusement danced in his eyes as he surveyed Mary’s comical position on the bed.

Her upper body had slumped onto the pillows propped against the headboard, while her lower body remained in a sitting posture. A chuckle escaped Anton’s lips, witnessing the whimsical scene.

Anton chose to go to the loo to freshen up first before he will attempt to reposition Mary. He Because if he will not do it, her body will definitely ache the next day.

Anton had held onto the hope that Mary would still be awake upon his return, but his wish went unfulfilled as she had already fallen asleep. His desire for her remained as strong as ever, but circumstances had intervened, leaving him with nothing but the hope that tomorrow would bring a different outcome.

Just thinking about Mary and all the things that he wanted to do to her already gave him an instant hard-on, something that he had been trying to deal with the whole day. He stared at his stubborn friend down there as the cold water from the shower covers him from head to toe.

He finds himself engaged in an internal struggle, torn between yielding to his desires to touch himself and allowing the cold water to soothe his body. The longer he contemplates it, the stronger his urge becomes to suppress his desires.

With each passing glance, his yearning to quell the untamed beast within him grows stronger. Throughout the entirety of the day, he endures excruciating torment as his thoughts persistently stray toward the intimate encounter he shared with Mary in the morning, leaving him feeling betrayed by his own mind.

Regrettably, Anton finds himself betrayed not only by his own thoughts but also by the betraying impulses of his body. He can only shake his head in resignation as he witnesses his hand, seemingly with a will of its own, gradually moving toward the potent desire that rages within him.

Overwhelmed by his internal conflict, Anton reluctantly begins to caress his hardened state, initially with a slow and hesitant touch, all the while attempting to resist and deny the mounting arousal that overtakes him.

Despite his efforts to resist, the intensity of his desire drives his hand to accelerate its movements. Concurrently, his mind transports him back to the moment he shared with Mary in the closet, heightening his arousal.

Yielding to the overwhelming temptation, he closes his eyes, immersing himself in vivid fantasies of what might have transpired if their encounter had not been interrupted.

"Mary... Ahh..." As Anton indulges in his desires, he can’t help but release a breathless utterance of Mary’s name, accompanied by a passionate moan.

Her exquisite beauty, the caress of her delicate skin, and the captivating scent that embodies her femininity linger persistently in his thoughts, heightening his sensations and deepening his longing.

Bracing himself against the cool bathroom tiles, Anton firmly presses his hand against the wall while his other hand accelerates its movements, gaining momentum with each passing moment. The intensity of his pleasure becomes overwhelming, rendering him incapable of suppressing his impassioned moans.

Immersed in ecstasy, he indulges in the intoxicating fantasy of Mary’s expression, envisioning it vividly within his mind’s eye, further heightening his gratification.

The mounting pressure within Anton intensifies rapidly, signaling its imminent release. He senses its proximity, growing stronger with each passing moment, as it draws nearer to its climax.

In the height of his ecstasy, Anton’s senses soar to celestial heights as he closes his eyes, surrendering to the overwhelming pleasure.

What he didn’t expect is that the serenity of the moment is shattered as the shower door suddenly slides wide open wide, catching him completely off guard.

Mary: "AHH!!!"

Anton: "AHH!!!"

Startled and shocked by the sudden discovery, both let out piercing screams, their hearts pounding with a mixture of surprise, fear, and disbelief. The unexpected sight of each other in that particular spot sends a wave of intense emotions rushing through them, culminating in a shared expression of shock and astonishment.

Mary turned around frozen on her spot and doesn’t know what do to. She was so embarrassed that she wants the ground to swallow her whole. The weight of humiliation weighs heavily upon her, leaving her utterly speechless, and does not know what to do.

"M-Mary, I-I thought you were sleeping," he manages to utter as he stammers out his explanation to Mary, his face blushing with embarrassment. Reacting quickly, he reaches for a nearby towel, hastily attempting to cover his nakedness in an effort to regain a sense of modesty amidst the uncomfortable encounter.

"I-I was... I-I heard some noises, and I thought it was someone else. I didn’t know you were already in there," Mary explains, her voice reflecting a mix of surprise and relief.

"Just why are you showering with the lights off? I thought you were a burglar!" she adds, seeking an explanation for the confusion. The realization dawning upon her, she tries to make sense of the situation and soothe the tension between them.

"I-I... It doesn’t matter... I feel like showering with the lights off tonight. And Mary, this is a penthouse, a burglar cannot simply go through a window from the top of the building."

"R-Right... I-I’ll get going then..." Stammering with a mix of embarrassment and surprise, she rushes out of the bathroom not waiting for Anton’s response. Closing the door behind her, and leans against it for support.

Placing a trembling hand on her chest, she feels the rapid beats of her racing heart, overwhelmed by what she saw. Taking a moment to catch her breath and regain her composure, Mary tries to calm herself amidst the flurry of thoughts and emotions.

’OH... MY... GOD... What did I just see?’ Mary asked herself inwardly. With her face already tinged with a deep blush, Mary senses the heat intensify, further highlighting her embarrassment.

In an attempt to quell the warmth and hide her flushed complexion, she instinctively covers her face with both hands, gently pressing against her skin as if to cool it down.

After composing herself, she swiftly went to bed and wraps herself tightly in the covers. She doesn’t want to face Anton when he gets out of the bathroom. She just wants the night to end and the morning to come.

Her wish did not come true, Anton sat on the opposite side of the bed as soon as he emerged from the loo.

"Mary... Can we talk?" he uttered, his voice laced with hesitation.

Mary stiffened, unsure of how to respond. A wave of anxiety washed over her as she contemplated her options. Part of her wished to feign sleep, hoping to avoid the conversation with Anton altogether.

The embarrassment of her actions—intentionally entering the bathroom while he was showering—was completely humiliating. The fact that she had seen more than she should have only intensified her desire to disappear from the situation entirely.

Mary closed her eyes, taking a deep breath to steady herself. With a sigh, she mustered the courage to remove the blanket covering her face. "Talk about what?" she asked, her voice carrying a mix of curiosity and apprehension.

"I’m sorry about what you saw, I didn’t mean to–"

"You don’t have to explain, Anton. It was my fault... I barged in without calling for you first. I just realized if it was a real thief then I could have gotten hurt," Mary tried hard to divert the conversation to the reason why she went in and away from what she saw.

"That’s not the only thing that I want to talk about, but I guess we can talk about it tomorrow. It’s already late and we both should go to sleep," Anton was about to stand to sleep on the sofa when Mary grabbed his wrist.

"Anton, it’s ok. You can sleep beside me. This is your house, your bed. I wouldn’t mind you sleeping beside me," Mary uttered softly.

Anton nodded and he lifted both his legs positioning them on the bed as he slid his feet into the duvet.
