Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 302: Epilogue

She sat on the toilet seat, running her hands through her face and her hair occasionally in the wait of something that was going to decide her future again.

The timer went off, jerking her up from her seat and moving to look at the pregnancy test.

2 pink lines, in three different test stared back at her.

Shit—

The sound of robotic cries made her look at the baby monitor that she had brought with herself in the bathroom.

Releasing a deep breath that was just the only thing keeping her from breaking apart, she picked up the baby monitor before picking up the stick with two pink lines.

Walking out of the bathroom, she found Salvador working On the couch with his laptop. Without giving him so much of a smile, She aimed and threw the stick at his chest before walking out of the room and into the nursery.

Six months. It hadn’t been six fucking months and she was pregnant again. Fucking great.

Walking into the nursery, she went directly to the bassinet where her son was crying. She was hungry and she could tell that by the way he was crying.

Holding him up, she sat down on the beanbag in the corner of the room before removing her shirt and allowing him to nurse from her boob.

She heard the sound of whooping from downstairs. Rolling her eyes, she leaned in her head back against the wall. Fucking men.

Little Niccolo had fallen asleep while nursing from her and so had Evelyn. However, the nap had been very refreshing for her.

Making sure that he was in his bassinet comfortable, and that the walls were going to stay locked so that he would not tumble away, Evelyn moved to her room for a quick shower.

Just as she rinse the shampoo, she felt his presence from behind.

"Have you not already done enough," she snapped without bothering to look at him. "Six months, Salvatore. Six months!"

His hand landed on her belly, which still had a lot of pregnancy fat on it. Oh well, she was not working out anymore. It was just going to get expanded again!

"Do you know how much I loved watching you walk around with my child in you?" He rasped against her ear. "that glow that you had on your face, that smile. Do you remember how Arabella used to whisper to the baby and she used to lean her ear against your stomach?"

"I do." She did remember it. "I also remember you talking to the baby when you thought I was sleeping." She whispered sneakily, staring at him from the corner of her eyes. "You made a lot of promises to him, Salvatore."

He chuckled, nuzzling his nose against her cheek. "I intend to fulfill all of them."

She chuckled, turning around to look at him. "Niccolo just fell asleep. You have maybe... 30 minutes at most."

Salvatore’s eyes glinted at the challenge. Holding her waist, he squeezed her ass making her jump and wrap her legs around him.

Pushing her next to the wall, he plunged deep inside her in one go.

Thirty minutes were more than enough.

"Bella, baby," Evelyn held her hand and drew the outline first, "like this. You make the outline first and then color inside. Okay?"

The little girl nodded, maybe not even paying attention to what Evelyn said. She just started to colour randomly on the page but the best part was, she drew the outline first.

One day at a time, she chanted in her mind, one thing at a time.

Niccolo played with her ear lobe, she had taken out her earrings learning her lesson twice from her two children. If she wore anything, any jewellery was going to get snatched away.

She had to put her son on semisolid food. But maybe she could wait another month just to be sure.

"He is falling asleep," Talia whispered next to her, "should I take him?"

Evelyn stop bouncing her son, making sure that he was actually a sleep before handing him of to Talia to put him to bed.

She had taken up the suggestion by Agatha. She needed someone she could trust and that could handle her babies without any problem. Talia was perfect.

She also had a striking resemblance to agatha but Evelyn chose not to comment on that.

Sitting next to her daughter, Evelyn picked up a cover and started to colour a flower. Silently spending time with her daughter, letting her know that Evelyn was available whenever she wanted her to be.

Who is definitely going to be difficult handling Arabella, Nicolo and the unborn baby but she was ready to do it.

"How are my girls doing?" Without waiting any further, Salvatore picked up Arabella before throwing her up in the air.

Without a doubt, with him, it was going to be easy.

Arabella laughed wholeheartedly as Salvatore tickled her before kissing her cheek and rubbing his nose on her neck making her giggle wildly.

He placed Arabella down before tapping her butt, "Go and check the living room. I got something for you."

Only when Arabella had run out of the kitchen, Salvador turned his attention to his wife. Getting on his knees, he held her hands before kissing them.

"Hi."

"Hi." He said back, smiling. "Good day?"

She placed a hand at her very visible tummy. "What can I say? It’s quite a difficult job keeping myself alive when three Demons are trying to eat me alive."

Throwing his head back, Salvatore laughed loudly. "Demons, huh?"

"Yes," She confirmed. "By the way, you might want to move out your white shirts. Arabella has found a new love to paint every white cloth pink."

"Fuck."

"Yes," she grinned, "so I told her to go ahead and ruin every share of Marcello."

He grinned devilishly. "Look at that, still carrying out your revenge?"

He had once made the mistake of eating the sour things that she liked and craved during pregnancy. Not only had he eaten one packet, he had polished off the entire cupboard. That was a war she was never going to seize fighting.

"Daddy!" Arabella came running in with a huge box in her hand. Evelyn realised what it was in one go, a box of puzzles.

At the same time, the baby monitor went off and Talia brought in a crying Niccolo who was hungry.

"Well then," Salvatore picked up Arabella, "back to work for them, wife."

He leaned down and kissed her lips as she nursed their son. "I love you." He whispered.

"I love you too."
