The mood changed and the fishmonger went into business mode.

They thought that it would be free money whenever the fishermen didn’t have any catch for the day.

Finally, one of them stepped forward and said, "I will ask my suppliers to start looking out for this sea grass, but only a kilogram wouldn’t be enough to entice them."

Lin Xuan Qi replied immediately and said, "Get me ten kilograms tomorrow for a start, I will get my men to buy it from you then."

He wasn’t sure how much he would need for his experiments so he gave an estimate first.

It wouldn’t cost much and he would be able to eat them for a change even if he failed.

The fishmonger agreed and nodded his head at him.

"Deal."

"Do you need some of these to show your suppliers?" Lin Xuan Qi held up the bunch of Kelp and asked.

The fishmonger shook his head and said, "No need, they would know when I mention it as sea grass."

He went on to introduce himself as Xin and got to know Lin Xuan Qi as young master Lin.

"The ten kilograms is only for the start, if it works out, I would have a huge appetite for it. But for now..." Lin Xuan Qi said after being pleased with the result so far.

Other fishmongers standing by the side began to regret their hesitation when they heard him.

If they had moved faster, they might have been able to establish a rapport with the young master first.

Now, they could only look on at Xin enviously.

"Young master Lin, we can also..." Some of them tried to make a deal with Lin Xuan Qi but he shook his head at them.

"I don’t need so much for now, the supplies from Xin would be enough." He said much to the disappointment of the other fishmongers.

They glanced at each other and were all ready to offer a better price to have a chance at extra money when he needed more of the Kelp.

"If there is nothing else, I shall take my leave now." Lin Xuan Qi said to Xin and Xin gave him a bow.

There wasn’t much left for him to do at the fish market and Lin Xuan Qi turned around and headed for the inn that they had eaten at.

"You are back, young master." The innkeeper greeted him when Lin Xuan Qi and the others entered the inn.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded at the innkeeper, pointed at the pails of seafood they had picked up by the beach and asked, "Can you help cook these for us? I will pay for the labor and usage of your inn."

The innkeeper smiled and said, "That’s not an issue, many of the folks do it whenever they want something better for their meal with their catch for the day."

He glanced at his waiters and the waiters quickly took over the pails from Zhi Yong, Yue Jie and Yue Xin.

Only the Kelp was kept in a pail with seawater in it.

The waiters brought the pails into the kitchen and the innkeeper led them to their seats.

"Did you find what you were looking for?" The innkeeper asked while pouring a cup of tea for Lin Xuan Qi.

"Thanks for the help, we’ve found it." Lin Xuan Qi said and picked up the teacup.

He downed the tea in one mouthful.

They were thirsty after being out in the hot sun by the beach.

The sea breeze that was blowing at them didn’t help with the thirst at all.

Xue Cong took over and helped pour him another cup of tea.

She knew that he would be busy again after the discovery of the Kelp and she said, "Let’s enjoy the meal later."

Yue Xin nodded with excitement.

It was the first time for her to be at the beach, and the first time to be able to savor the food that she had picked herself from it.

"I will, the grouper I’ve caught would certainly taste exceptionally well." Lin Xuan Qi said with pride.

Yue Xin narrowed her eyes and nodded her head vigorously.

She was eager to have a taste of fresh grouper again.

Yue Jie glanced at everyone and couldn’t help but think that it might be the last time they would be out traveling with their current status.

When the wedding was over, she wasn’t sure if there would be another chance for Xue Cong and her to be away from the matters of the mansion.

It was one of his purposes here to let them have a downtime after so long without a break.

The waiters also came to her rescue with the plates of food that they had in their hands.

"Sorry for the wait." One of them said while placing down the plates of clams he had in his hands.

The clams were steamed with garlic and some soy sauce.

Simple but kept most of the taste from the clams.

The freshness of the clams didn’t require much culinary sophistry to make them tasty.

"I’m starving, let’s get started." Lin Xuan Qi said and someone else moved before he could.

Yue Xin picked up one of the clams with her chopsticks and put it into her mouth.

The sweetness from the clam’s meat made her give out a satisfying smile.

It was especially tasty this time to her.

Maybe due to the side effect that it was the spoils of her labor earlier.

Lin Xuan Qi on the other hand, didn’t even need to move his chopsticks.

Xue Cong and Yue Jie had picked out the meat from the clam shells for him and placed them into his bowl.
