It took around one Ke time before the water turned brown and the kelp started to dissolve into the water.

Residues also started to appear on the surface of the water.

It was then that he poured the mixture through a cloth to filter out the impurities.

Then, the filtered mixture was poured into another wok to be boiled and get rid of the water that was still in the mixture.

It was also a strong fire at first and a slow burn next to evaporate the remaining water inside.

Throughout the process, Lin Xuan Qi observed and took out all the little things that he noticed while doing so.

It was all that he could do for now.

The mixture and the water with the ash from the crop stalk needed two days to crystallize and settle respectively.

But that was not the final process, there would be more things to do to get it to become more pure and get rid of more of the impurities that were still in the crystals.

It wouldn’t be sparkling clear like the MSG he was used to but it was the best he could come up with in the Da Qian Dynasty.

He was now comfortable enough to let Liu Shi Shi know what he was doing in the lab and since she was the head of the security, he might as well let her be more involved with it.
