Chapter 328: Chapter 327: Have You Seen Him

Jensen Sterling listened as the little girl beside him spoke softly.

It was probably about some things from her childhood, but she was too young then to remember, so what she knew was mostly told to her by Ashley Vance and Simon Sutton.

Mia Sutton: "Actually, I really want to meet this person; I wonder if he’s still that cool and aloof now."

Jensen heard this, closed his eyes tightly, then said, "He’s not like that anymore."

"You’ve seen him too."

He didn’t know why, but his voice carried a hint of hoarseness.

Mia heard this and a trace of confusion flashed in her eyes. She lifted her head and looked at him with gentle eyes: "Mr. Sterling, how do you know?"

"Do you know this person? I’ve seen him, where did I see him..."

Before she could finish speaking, a thought suddenly flashed through Mia’s mind. She looked down again at the photo.

After glancing at it a couple of times, she slowly raised her eyes and glanced at the person beside her.

Then she placed the album next to Jensen, her gaze shifting from the photo to his face, and after two seconds, back from his face to the photo.

Back and forth, she repeated this several times.

Jensen remained silent, just gazing at her calmly, cooperating with her actions.

After a long while, Mia took back the album, her fingers pointing to the person in the photo, her voice filled with disbelief: "Mr. Sterling... is this you?"

Although the person in the photo was very young and looked different from Jensen now, if you looked carefully, you could still see the resemblance in the eyebrows and eyes.

Since Mia had no memory from that time and had only seen these few photos, the memory in her mind had turned very blurry over time.

So it was impossible for her to recall, let alone match the little boy in the photo with Jensen beside her.

Jensen heard this, nodded slowly, and said in a light voice: "Yes, it’s me."

Mia: "..." She never thought she had met Jensen when she was a child.

......

Mia glanced at the photo again, then looked up at Jensen, her eyes smiling: "Mr. Sterling, this means we are destined."

Jensen: "Yes, destined."

"But..." Mia poked at the face of the little boy in the photo with her head down and said, "Mr. Sterling, were you this cool as a kid?"

"But looking at it this way, there is actually a kind of cuteness."

"Cool and handsome, no wonder you’re Mr. Sterling, handsome from a young age."

Jensen had never expected that Mia would use the word "cute" to describe him, and for a moment, he felt a bit helpless.

Mia searched through the photos again, then slowly spoke with her head down: "If I had known you all along, you wouldn’t be this cool in the photos."

"Because I was a lively kid, always causing trouble, you’d probably be mad at me, but sometimes I was very good, and you’d smile at me."

"Unlike in these photos, where you barely changed your expression," Mia murmured.

"But now it’s also nice; I get to see different sides of Mr. Sterling, and I really like it," Mia continued her rambling.

Jensen listened quietly, lowering his eyes and gazing deeply at the little girl beside him, his emotions surging inside, as his seductive Adam’s apple moved up and down.

In a hoarse voice, he said, "Mia..."

Mia immediately looked up: "What’s wrong?"

"Raise your head..."

Mia: "...???" Though she didn’t understand what he meant, she obediently raised her head, her transparent amber eyes shining brightly as she looked at the person in front of her.

"I want to express my current feelings for you." After he said this, in Mia’s surprised eyes, he leaned down.

Mia suddenly felt a touch on her lips, the man lowering his head, eyes downcast, deep and dark as if they were a bottomless vortex, trying to draw her in.

Mia’s spine instantly stiffened, still holding the album, her fingertips turning white, eyes wide open, the sound of her heartbeat amplified endlessly, as if it would burst from her chest.

During this period, they would occasionally kiss, but except for the first time, they were always restrained...

But now it felt like that first time again.

Even after so many times, she still hadn’t learned how to breathe, feeling completely numb.

Even the air seemed sweeter.

Jensen slightly released Mia, the girl taking deep breaths, and soon the man made a move to approach again. Mia quickly pushed him away, her voice muffled: "The door’s not closed..."

This kiss came so suddenly that Mia couldn’t react, even though she didn’t mind at all.

But that didn’t mean she forgot where she was; they were at the Sutton family home, not her and Jensen’s own place.

Jensen retreated slightly, his nose touching Mia’s, breathing lightly, his breath tickling Mia’s face: "It’s okay, it’s closed."

After saying this, he moved close again, and Mia was once more drawn in, her consciousness beginning to blur.

Jensen’s eyes were very deep, his actions fierce, his expression changing as soon as he saw the photos. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

He had never thought that those memories were not only remembered by himself but had also been recorded by someone else through photos, and Mia knew about them too.

Even though she didn’t remember, he still existed in her past life, even if it was told to her verbally by others. And despite all this time, she still remembered.

He knew what he used to be like; to put it nicely, it was cold and unwelcoming to strangers, but harshly, a loveless monster.

Ashley Vance must have noticed when she first met him, but in her description, the child was just not good at words, a bit cold, yet very cute.

Even though he didn’t particularly like the word "cute."

...

When the kiss ended, Mia immediately shot far away, grabbing a pillow on the bed to cover half her face, her eyes watching him alertly like a fawn, speaking in a muffled voice: "No more kissing."

This was simply bewitching.

Mia sat at the vanity, looking at herself in the mirror, her eyebrows full of emotion, her lips slightly glistening.

Looking at herself in the mirror, a scene suddenly flashed in Mia’s mind, the time at the hotel, after she woke up from being drunk, it was just like this.

Only that time was more severe.

Mia suddenly felt like she understood something, turning her eyes towards him, speaking in a lingering voice: "Mr. Sterling..."

"That time when I was drunk, I didn’t just bite you, did I...?"

Jensen: "..."
