Chapter 222: Chapter 222

Second Year...

The first year in the academy ended before one knew that a year had passed since they entered the academy.

Aaron and the girls took two more missions before they officially entered their second year. Though they are now second year, it matters not much as the war escalated outside and most professors were away to keep the alliance stable.

The academy has long become a self-study and where one can level up faster, without having many worries.

There are a few lectures that are held every now and then by the professors who are still at the academy, but they too have many duties to fulfil, making it difficult to take more classes for the students.

Except for Aaron’s year students, other year students were almost absent. Except for the crafters professionals, all were deployed elsewhere in one position or another.

Now, they have entered their second year, and there is a high chance that they too would be deployed somewhere. It was why the trio spent more time on learning whatever knowledge they could from the knowledge and levelling up.

At this time, Aaron’s levels increased a lot. He reached level 400, a mere 50 levels away from reaching level 450, which is where one would get the quest to enter Rank-4.

The biggest change that happened in his status is his Luck.

By reaching level 400, Aaron gained a lot of FSPs, almost all were converted to his Luck, jumping it by 11 points in a short time. This was possible because he didn’t use those FSPs for anything else.

Now his luck stands at 25 points, and just as his luck increased so much, he saw the effect. The loot he got from Loot Dungeons has increased. Even before there was an increase, but it was too subtle and low to see the effect.

Now with so much increase in luck, his loot increased by a lot enough to see the difference. Increased loot means increased wealth, but Aaron didn’t sell everything that he got. With chances of getting deployed somewhere else, converting everything to Dusk Credits is not necessary, especially dumping that much loot would attract a lot of attention, even if the staff were busy with things to pay attention to him.

He was already selling items from higher-level dungeons with the help of Zara. The staff were too busy to see where they were getting these items.

Many thought that the first-year students or some senior year crafters might have teamed up and brought that loot. They didn’t check much, but if the loot became too much, they would get suspicious. So, Aaron only dumped a minimum required for himself to buy items that he needed.

The extra loot stayed inside his storage for now.

Coming to his skills, with an increase in his level, Aaron got a lot of SPs, which made it easy for him to increase his skill, Summon Skeleton, once again after a long time.

In one shot, Aaron was able to increase this skill to Gold Realm Rank 1.

This move consumed a total of 204,000 SP, which left him with 122,400 SPs at present.

He was actually surprised that he still had so many points. He estimated that maybe 200k of SPs are enough, but somewhere he felt that they might not be enough. So, he waited even after his SPs count crossed 200k.

Who would have thought the cost was just over 200k?

In the Silver realm, each increase in skill rank cost him as follows. Increase to Rank 2-16,000, 3-17,000, 4-20,000, 5-21,000, 6-22,000, 7-25,000, 8-26,000, and 9-27,000 SPs.

To reach Gold Rank 1, another 30,000 SPs were consumed.

He was surprised because in Bronze Realm or Iron Realm, the increase in required SPs to reach higher skill rank was not this uniform, nor was it so low in increase like it was in Silver Realm.

They appeared random, and the increase in the number of SPs required also increased by a lot, not just a 1000 SPS difference. He couldn’t understand why that was so, but he could do nothing about that. So, he ignored that for the moment.

With the skill reaching Gold Rank-1, there were two changes in his status.

The first one is obvious, the number of skeletons has increased. At Silver Rank-1, the number was 1,270, but now at Gold Rank-1, the number increased to 10,230.

Now, his undead army has swelled to almost 12k, when the ghosts were added to that number. With this army, he can even challenge a medium-scale monster tide, as long as the leader monster doesn’t intervene, but it is almost impossible.

The monster leader would intervene if it saw that a single group was crushing its army. It would try to eliminate that group.

When he increases his Summon Ghost skill to the same level, then he will be leading an army that can cause shivers in hundreds of thousands easily.

With the increase of the Summon Skeleton to Gold Realm rank, the second change was in the grade. It increased from Elite to Rare, which gave him a lot of boosts.
