Destroying My Own World-Chapter 166 Unfazed.
Uriel was busy making schedules on her desk, and then she saw Lyneth and Edith walk past the office. She wondered how long it would take for Mykel to come back from his own world because it had been two days. She couldn't believe that the world was in chaos and yet they were still so relaxed and unbothered by anything outside the building.
"Ariel, it's lunch break. Want to eat together?" A man asked as he stood next to her desk. "Everyone should be in the cafeteria now," he continued.
"Yeah, sure," Uriel smiled and nodded her head.
She cleaned her desk and saved the schedules she created in case something happened. After she cleaned and was done, she went to the elevator with the man and had a light conversation. When they were waiting for the elevator, Edith came and asked the man for a favor to help her out.
"I'll catch up with you later. You can go ahead without me," The man said as he looked at Uriel and followed Edith from behind.
Uriel nodded her head, and then she heard the elevator doors open. When she wanted to walk in, she hesitated to enter the elevator because she saw Elena leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. She let her hair loose and hid her face as she looked down, and the aura she released made Uriel feel in danger.
"I'm not going to bite, just come in," Elena said as she kept her head down and didn't show her face at all.
Uriel walked in and pressed the floor she wanted to go to, and she saw Elena was going to the ground floor. She thought that it might be just a coincidence to be in the same elevator as Elena, but she couldn't help but keep staring at Elena through the reflection.
"Are you a new employee?" Elena asked as she lifted her head and looked Uriel in the eye from the reflection.
"Yes. I just started working two days ago, and I'm honestly nervous to be able to see you in person. Ah, and my name is Ariel Greens," Uriel answered as she nodded her head. "You're really pretty," Uriel said shyly and started to chuckle nervously.
Elena ignored Uriel's compliment and stopped caring as she looked down again. Uriel was still suspicious about Elena if she knew who she truly was, and she was prepared for the worst.
The silence was so awkward, but then Elena's stomach growled and it surprised Uriel. She slowly turned around and looked at Elena as she held her smile because it was unexpected.
"So hungry..." Elena said as she fixed her hair and tucked it behind her ear.
"I know that I'm being impolite, but do you want to eat lunch in the cafeteria? It's a lunch break, and there is a lot of food on the third floor," Uriel suggested.
"Right, this place has a cafeteria..." Elena said as she looked at the floor buttons. "I guess I'll grab something to eat," Elena replied.
Elena and Uriel went to the cafeteria and grabbed the food that looked fresh and delicious. Everyone was surprised when they saw Elena in the cafeteria since they had never seen her there before.
While everyone greeted Elena, Uriel wanted to confirm something and stared deep into Elena's body. She couldn't find anything, not a single divine power or any power that came from the objects. She wasn't satisfied with the result and wanted to try a different method to check.
"Miss Elena, I'm actually a big fan and I want to meet you guys in person. So, can we take a photo together?" Uriel asked after she got her food. "I know that you're hungry, so it can wait," Uriel said.
"No, it's okay. We can take a photo now," Elena answered as she nodded her head.
Elena stood up and watched Uriel grab her phone which made her chuckle because she never thought an Archangel knew how to take a selfie. Everyone was watching them, and so Elena suggested letting everyone in the photo in with her. Uriel didn't have a problem and started to get as close as she could to Elena's body until they touched.
Uriel had confirmed that there was nothing suspicious inside Elena's body as she tried to find the right angle for a selfie. It was so noisy and everyone was smiling at the camera.
"Say cheese!" Uriel said as she looked at the camera.
"Cheese!" Everyone said at the same time as they posed for the camera.
The moment she took the photo, the whole cafeteria became silent. She looked at the camera and saw the cafeteria that was filled with a lot of people a few seconds ago suddenly become empty.
At that moment, Uriel was dumbfounded because she couldn't sense a single life or soul in the cafeteria. She slowly turned around and everyone disappeared without a trace, not even their souls. Your journey continues on empire
"Nice shot," Elena said as she crossed her arms and sat on the table. "Can you send me the photo, Uriel?" Elena asked.
Uriel slowly turned around and looked at Elena's smirk which would give her a chill down her spine, but she didn't possess such an emotion as fear. She was thinking, trying to find the explanation for how dozens of people suddenly disappeared without a trace.
"Let's make it quick and easy for you," Elena said as she stared into Uriel's eyes. "You have two options. One is you follow me without causing me trouble or resisting and I'll drag your head to the place I want you to be," Elena suggested.
Uriel spread her gorgeous wings and sent the tables, chairs, food, and everything that blocked their path away. She didn't care about the threat, and she was confident that she could defeat Elena. She slowly transformed herself and showed her true form as the Archangel, Uriel the Lightbringer.
Elena was unfazed by the transformation and grabbed the apple she got from the cafeteria. She didn't put up her guard and be as vulnerable as she could be, but the moment she bit onto the apple in her hand, Uriel felt something leaving her body.
Uriel looked at her back and saw her wings go limp and she couldn't move them anymore. She looked at Elena and was confused about what did she do to her body, but then Elena took another bite of the apple. She collapsed as her legs went numb and glared at Elena in disbelief and a shocked expression.

"How?! What did you do to me?!" Uriel asked as she tried to get up with only her upper body that she could move.
"I told you already," Elena paused as she stood back up and bit the apple. Uriel immediately lost the strength to lift her arms, and that also made her lose all her powers. "If you resist, I'm going to drag your head to the place you have to be," Elena answered as she grabbed Uriel's hair and made her look at her.
"I'm Uriel, the Lightbringer, The Lord's aid. My power belongs to him and him alone, but how did you take them away from me?" Uriel asked and she was genuinely curious.
"Do you think you're the only one who took the opportunity when you touched me and tried to read my power? I can do the same, but my power not only can read your power, I can erase them," Elena answered with a smile. "But, don't worry. I'm not taking away your power. I just prevent them from helping you," Elena added.
Uriel realized that she had become powerless, and the only thing she had left was her faith in The Lord. She didn't try to resist anymore and believed whatever happened, The Lord would save her and protect her.
Elena brought Uriel to the Empyrean World and dragged Uriel into the palace as she warned. An Archangel that was five times bigger than Elena, with wings that were five times the size of her own body was brought into the palace. She then threw Uriel into the hall, and that was when Uriel saw Mykel sitting on the throne, waiting for her arrival.
Mykel stood up and walked down the stairs to approach Uriel. Uriel lifted her head and saw long legs in front of her, and then looked up at Mykel's face who was also unfazed by her presence.
"I heard that you want to see me in person, and I have granted you your wish," Mykel said with a smirk as he looked down at Uriel.
