The Lord was so confused and then suddenly he got all his power back, and it was a million times more than what he possessed earlier. The power that he possessed, it was the first time he felt overwhelmed that he didn't know what to do with it.

"What are you, exactly?" The Lord asked.

"What kind of question is that? You know what I am, I'm the abyss. I exist to take everything you created," Mykel answered as he looked The Lord in the eye. "I'm not stronger than you, but you're the one who can feed me. You can't get rid of me as I will stay exist as long as you radiate your light or even when you disappear. Now, I have become a singularity," Mykel continued.

"How far are you going to take everything from me?" The Lord asked and he showed his displeased in his voice.

"You don't have to worry about that," Mykel paused as he blasted the light from The Lord's body, making him lose his form. "I have no need for you anymore since I already got what I wanted," Mykel continued.

The Lord felt vulnerable as negative emotions started to fill his mind. Since he had no form, no limbs, and no body, he was nothing but a floating consciousness. A power that made him believe he was the highest being, turned out it was nothing but a mask to cover his deficiency.

"I'm going to erase your existence, but I'm going to play with you first," Mykel said and then snapped his fingers.

The Lord was being sucked as flashes passed by until he was brought down to Earth. He felt a massive headache and out of breath as his body started to ache.

The moment he opened his eyes, he realized he had a body as he could feel the stinging pain all over his body. He looked at how skinny his arms were and when he checked his skinny legs, people bumped into him.

He looked at the gazes that were pointed at him, gazes of disgust. He then looked at the giant glass wall and hurriedly walked there to see his appearance. He was shocked when he looked dirty and ugly, wearing a ragged shirt and pants.

When he was still in shock, he felt like needles had stabbed his stomach. He grunted and realized he was starving the moment his stomach growled. He never knew how painful it was to starve, and how he couldn't stand straight because of the pain in his stomach.

"Here, eat this," Mykel suddenly appeared next to him and offered him a sandwich.

The Lord looked at the delicious sandwich and he had never experienced a drool in his mouth. He then grabbed the sandwich with his trembling hands, and when he was about to put it in his mouth, he was shocked again.

Mykel chuckled as he looked at The Lord struggling to put the food in his mouth because he couldn't open his mouth at all. The lips were extremely dry that it was so painful to open, and Mykel could see the lips that started to bleed.

"You're crying just from that?" Mykel asked as he scoffed and looked at the tears falling on The Lord's face.

The moment The Lord managed to open his mouth and was about to put the food in his mouth, a teenager slapped the sandwich. The sandwich fell to the ground, and then the teenager's friend stomped on it. They both laughed it off as they walked away while The Lord felt angry and sad.

"That's unfortunate. I only bought one for you, so either you starve or you can pick it up and eat it," Mykel said as he looked at The Lord with a mischievous smile. Explore more at novelbuddy

Without hesitation, The Lord bowed down to grab the dirtied and mushed sandwich. He looked at it for a moment and then put it in his mouth, but when he thought he could satiate his hunger, he felt pain in each of his teeth. He couldn't munch on the sandwich without feeling an immense amount of pain.

Every time he munched on the sandwich, his teeth were wobbling and a few of them fell. It was so painful but he couldn't stop munching his food because he was starving.

People walked by, staring at him with disgust, and none of them showed any sympathy or empathy toward him. He didn't know what to feel, and then suddenly Mykel dropped a newspaper next to him.

"Isn't that face look familiar? Ryan Ericson," Mykel asked as he looked a the newspaper with his eyebrows raised.

The Lord could see the face on the newspaper was similar to his, a murderer who killed dozens of children. The body that he possessed was a criminal who had just gotten out of prison after spending forty years in prison.

"You're lucky that you're still alive now, but now that people have seen your face, I don't think you can close your eyes even for a second tonight," Mykel said. "I wonder how the judge can let you go. Perhaps God has a plan for you," Mykel added as he looked down at The Lord.

"I'll be watching you and let's see if you can survive the night," Mykel chuckled and then left. "I wonder if death would be the easiest way out," he said loudly, and yet nobody paid attention to him as if he was invisible.

The night came, and the sun hadn't fully gone down, and yet The Lord was being hunted by the same teenagers from earlier. He kept running as he tried to catch his breath with blood dripping on his forehead after his head got smashed by a brick out of nowhere.

Fear and anxiety were the only things that filled his head as he ran for his life, and luckily he managed to hide from those teenagers. While he was hiding, he remembered what Mykel had said to him earlier, and wondered if death was really a bad idea.

"You got lucky," Mykel said as he came out of the shadow. "But they can find the blood trail," Mykel warned.

"I'm not going to run away," The Lord said as he caught his breath and his head started to get dizzy because of the injury.

Mykel chuckled and started laughing which made The Lord look confused. He then stood in front of The Lord with a smirk and his arms crossed.

"Go ahead and die. The only place that awaits you is hell," Mykel pointed out and stared at him. "This world is using the same rule as your world. You're basically playing the game that you made yourself," Mykel added.

The Lord was speechless and realized how Mykel really wanted him to suffer. Knowing how powerless he was and how he didn't have a choice but to stay alive in fear.

"You need to keep moving because those boys will find you very soon. They won't kill you, but they will make sure you will suffer," Mykel said and then disappeared. "I told you, didn't I? I want to play. I'll be the God and you will be the helpless human," Mykel's voice echoed.

The Lord closed his eyes and then started running again to survive the night from those teenagers.

Elena and the others came out of the pocket of reality and realized that it was too quiet. They looked around and couldn't find Mykel or The Lord anywhere which made them worried.

"Where did they go?" Jeanne asked as she looked around. "Did they both go somewhere?" she added and couldn't feel Mykel's or The Lord's presence.

Elena could faintly feel the remnants and the trails of The Lord's divine power and Mykel's abyss. She immediately followed the remnants of their powers, and then the others followed her and wondered if she knew something.

When Elena stopped flying, everyone immediately felt the remnants around them. But weirdly enough, they couldn't see where those two went until Elena used her [Renewal] skill. She opened a pocket of reality and everyone looked at the inside, and that was when they were surprised to see a whole universe hidden in a place like that.

"I can sense their presence in there," Elena said as she looked at the pocket.

"If they're in there, why is it that it looks so peaceful? Aren't they supposed to be fighting?" Nal asked with her eyebrows raised.

"There's only one way to find out," Elena responded as she walked into the pocket.
