The Lord was drifting away, not knowing where he was and what had happened to him. That terrifying feeling where he couldn't see anything but darkness came back again. It was impossible to feel his limbs as his whole body had become a thin matter that got stretched out infinitely.

Although he was living in limbo, it was different from the last time because he had something within him. He could feel Elena's life energy surging in his body and immediately pulled his limbs and brought his form back.

The moment The Lord felt his power back and Elena's life energy that protected him from corruption, he released a blast to his surroundings. It was the first time in his whole life that he was amazed and speechless by the massive stream of life energy that had been hidden by the abyss. His presence was like an ant surrounded by huge waterfalls and rivers that were bright and warm.

"Elena Alester. If you introduced yourself as my creator in front of these, I would believe you right away," The Lord mumbled to himself. "You're going this far for one person. I have never thought I'm missing something like this," he continued.

"What happened to the almighty Lord back there?" Elena's voice could be heard around The Lord. "It's not the time to admire my power. Right now you have to follow them because they will lead you to somewhere deeper inside Mykel," she continued.

The Lord was surprised when Elena could speak to him in that place even though the abyss didn't really have dimension, time, or space. He was inside a singularity, and yet Elena could reach him so easily and could even hear him.

"How can you speak to me?" The Lord asked because it was important to him.

"Look around you. What do you think those streams are? They're my essence and my soul. I can speak to you since I'm here with you," Elena answered. "The problem is I can't see and feel with only just these. If I could see and feel, I wouldn't let anyone be devoured by the abyss," she explained.

"I understand," The Lord said and followed the steams.

Elena was sitting at the table in the garden inside the novel world, using her life energy to communicate with The Lord. She needed a lot of concentration since it was like trying to hold still the slickest eel in the strong stream of a river. She was going away to avoid Mykel from keeping an eye on her, but at the same time, he would find it suspicious not to see her around.

"How is he?" Nal asked as she joined Elena at the table with Odin, Loki, and Amaryllis.

"He's doing fine Thanks to my power that protects his existence and from corruption," Elena answered as she looked at her hands on the table. "As long as I'm here, the time moves slower, but not inside Mykel's body, right?" she asked Amaryllis.

"Since there's no time and space inside a singularity. Our time here and inside Mykel's body is the same. So if we spent five days here, it was an hour outside," Amaryllis answered as she nodded her head.

"Perfect, but I wonder what's Mykel thinking right now after knowing that I'm not there," Elena mentioned as she kept concentrating on protecting The Lord inside Mykel's body.

"Knowing what Mykel thinks? That's impossible," Nal chuckled as she poured herself a glass of wine. "I don't think that matters since we all know that he knows what we are trying to do, at least to some extent. All you have to focus on is to keep The Lord alive in there," Nal added.

Elena hummed and nodded in agreement.

The Lord was drifting and following the stream of life energy, and it felt like an eternity, but that didn't bother him at all. He wondered how far he had traveled and how long it would take for him to reach the deepest part of the abyss. But even so, the stream of life energy was so beautiful because sometimes it exploded and created a massive explosion. The explosions were like fireworks that lightened up the abyss, and those explosions were powerful enough to harm him if he wasn't protected by that life energy.

"You need to be cautious and prepare for anything that will come toward you. Right now, Mykel should have realized that you're still alive and hiding in my life energy that's why he can't detect you at all," Elena's voice could be heard around The Lord.

"I'm aware, and I won't stay quiet when the time comes," The Lord assured Elena that he didn't want to waste the opportunity.

Mykel was sitting in the middle of the cube and hadn't made a move at all ever since he spoke with Elena. Luciel who had been guarding the cube watched him the whole time and wondered why he hadn't made a move at all. She then decided to go and check on him, but even so, he didn't move a muscle.

"(Amy, come here and look at this)" Luciel telepathically spoke to Amaryllis.

Amaryllis appeared right behind Luciel and then she looked at Mykel who seemed lifeless. She didn't hesitate to enter the cube and it startled Luciel, but she didn't stop her at all. She then looked at Mykel from up close and something was off about him until she realized that he was going into his own body to stop The Lord.

"He's coming!" Elena warned The Lord the moment she knew what had happened to Mykel from Amaryllis.

The moment she said that the stream of life energy got dispersed by a strong force. Fortunately, life energy came back again and this time it struck back and created a devastating blast. It protected The Lord from getting devoured by the abyss, but it couldn't completely stop the abyss from getting closer to him.

"To think that you can go this far is really amazing," Mykel's voice echoed throughout the abyss. "Since the game has no rule, you wouldn't mind if I came down here myself, right?" he asked as he came out of the abyss.

"Are you sure you want to be down here? Letting your body unprotected?" The Lord asked back. "I never thought you would be this foolish to go down here," he continued.

"You need to worry about yourself," Mykel responded as the abyss slowly overwhelmed life's energy around him.

The Lord knew he would die if he decided to fight Mykel, so he used his power to run away and tried to go deeper as Elena's life energy protected him. Although he could run away, he couldn't outrun Mykel since he was in Mykel's world and he had been attacked by Mykel from every side. He tried his best to survive, and the life energy around him started to dissipate, but luckily the stream of life energy could recharge it back.

Elena hurriedly entered the cube and then she put her hands on Mykel's head, injecting almost all of her life energy right into his body in an instant. The moment she did that, the abyss trembled and it made both The Lord and Mykel stop. Suddenly a burst of light pierced through the abyss and spread out to get rid of the darkness.

"Run now!" Elena said.

The Lord flew away and kept following the stream while Mykel was trying to stop the life energy from taking over his world. The plan worked smoothly and Mykel couldn't deal with both sides at the same time. But when he thought he was safe, Mykel suddenly appeared right in front of him and wrapped him in the abyss.

"Did you seriously think that I didn't anticipate this kind of scenario?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised. "If you think that I'm weaker than you all, you made a grave mistake," he continued.

When Mykel was about to devour The Lord entirely, the life energy around The Lord protected him, and suddenly the burst of life energy that had come earlier immediately went to protect him. Mykel was annoyed and he couldn't get rid of it because of how dense Elena's life energy was, denser than his.

"Well, you're stuck here with me. No matter how much life energy is around you, it will disappear in no time," Mykel said as he looked at the sphere of life energy in front of him.
