Amaryllis was overwhelmed by Mykel’s strength the moment she was the only one who was fighting him. She couldn’t remember how many times her body got destroyed or ripped apart. Thankfully, since she was in the system, her body wasn’t real and she couldn’t feel pain at all.

For a system, she didn’t have mental exhaustion which gave her the high ground in the long run. She could think clearly even when she was struggling to survive or in the worst situation. On the other hand, Mykel started to get weaker the longer he fought with her.

"(Do you miss me?)" Elena’s voice could be heard inside Amaryllis’ head.

The moment Amaryllis heard Elena’s voice, she felt like she could win the fight against Mykel. She couldn’t hide her joyous expression and smile, and that made Mykel notice something had happened behind his back.

Mykel spun and threw a backkick at Amaryllis, cutting her body in half and killing her clones in the distance since they couldn’t dodge the projectile in time. He couldn’t help but check his body to see if anyone was still alive, and the only ones that came to his mind were The Lord and Elena.

He used that few seconds he had to search for those two with everything he got. But to no avail, he couldn’t find them and he started to get worried because the homunculi inside him started to take a toll on his body. The abyss that was supposed to be under his control, a small portion of it had turned against him.

"I told you not to underestimate her. You know her better and how determined she is to bring Mykel back," Amaryllis said with a serious expression and hid her joyous expression. "I wonder what she found in there," she added and stared Mykel in the eye.

Mykel couldn’t help but get anxious, but knowing there were trails of Elena’s life energy inside her, he could use them to track her. He immediately sent his abyss to keep an eye on Elena’s life energy to find where she was. He believed that Elena would do it whether she wanted it or not because she needed them back, so he used that as bait.

Elena was carrying Sasha in her arms and she flew as fast as she could that Sasha was terrified by how fast Elena flew. They both had no idea what was in front of them, but one thing that they knew was that they were getting closer to the source of Elena’s life energy. Of course, they had anticipated that Mykel would interfere once they found the life energy, so they would ignore the life energy and go straight to the eerie presence that Sasha had felt earlier.

"He would know," Sasha said as she wrapped her arms around Elena’s neck. "He would know that you would ignore your life energy since you knew he would use it as bait," she continued and kept staring at the abyss.

"Yes, that’s why I’m going to do something to confuse him," Elena answered as she nodded her head. "I can do this too, you know," she looked at Sasha as she cloned herself using her life energy. "He would think it would be bait or a fake, but if he ignored it, it would be his loss knowing I would get my remaining life energy," she continued.

"As long as he can’t detect us, we have the high ground. We will be able to make it there without him noticing," Elena pointed out.

Sasha hummed with understanding, but deep down she knew it wouldn’t be that simple. Elena knew that as well, but that was the only thing she could do, and it would gain her more advantage if she could take all her energy back. It didn’t matter if Elena’s plan failed or worked because it wasn’t necessary.

Mykel could faintly feel Elena’s presence while he was fighting with Amaryllis and the homunculi. He started to get worried when the homunculi didn’t fight him anymore but entered his body forcefully. The situation slowly tilted to Amaryllis’ side because of that, and Mykel was indeed overwhelmed by the situation he was in.

"As long as Elena is alive, you won’t win," Amaryllis said as she threw a punch at Mykel. "If she’s alive, The Lord is alive, and as long as he’s alive, he can bring you down," she continued and threw him away.

"Your singularity isn’t omnipotent and we have deciphered your power!" Amaryllis pointed out as she threw a few punches and kicks at Mykel. "You said that you’re the center of the creation that’s unbound by anything, but that only applies because there’s a core inside you that makes you that way," she continued as she used her clones to throw punches and kicks at Mykel from all directions. "But that core of your power has a core, and that’s Mykel himself," she pointed out and then blasted Mykel with a strong life energy that combined with [Absoulute] and [Austerity] skills.

Amaryllis wasn’t sure about that theory, but she confidently exposed it and was hoping Mykel would laugh it off. But, when she managed to create a giant hole in Mykel’s chest without any drawback, that was when she realized she was right about it.

Mykel wasn’t in pain and he was rather stunned as he looked down at the hole in his chest.

"Because you’re not a living being in the first place," Amaryllis said as all her clones and homunculi gathered behind her.

Jeanne’s attack was effective back then and how she got a drawback, it convinced Amaryllis that something was off about Mykel in the first place. If Mykel wasn’t a human being beforehand, or a soul, there was no way Jeanne’s attack would give her a drawback when she used her skill. But right now, Amaryllis’ attack didn’t give her the drawback and that proved her theory. Even though she didn’t have a soul, the [Austerity] skill would hurt the body as well.

"You have separated yourself from Mykel, keeping his soul safe. Hiding him deep under, scared to disappear if he died," Amaryllis stared Mykel in the eye. "Now that you have separated yourself from him, making yourself a shell for him, that means my job here is almost done," she continued.

"So you have planned this all along?" Mykel asked. "But you don’t even know the whole truth," he smirked. "You don’t even know how Mykel gained his soul, do you?" he asked again as he flew in and released the abyss that turned the whole novel world pitch black once again.

Amaryllis released a blast of life energy, but that was when she realized she had lost all her connection to her clones. Not the ones that were with her, but the ones she hid to keep herself alive and working. When the energy lightened up her surroundings, Mykel disappeared and so did all her remaining clones. She lost all of her clones, they all had been devoured before she could notice.

"Your little pockets of reality are so easy to find, you know?" Mykel’s voice could be heard behind Amarylli’s left ear. "You talk too much that it gave me time to do a thorough search. Thanks to that, you’re now the only one left," he continued and devoured Amaryllis’ body, leaving on her head.

Mykel put his left hand on Amarylli’s chin from behind and slowly pulled her head back. He tilted his head and stared into her eyes with a huge grin on his face, making Amaryllis realize that she had fallen right into his trap.

"What did you say earlier?" Mykel asked as he stared at the abyss around him. "Don’t underestimate her. But what you have been doing right now is underestimating me, the one who taught her to be like that," he continued and glanced at her.

"You’re such a masterpiece. It’s a shame that your work here is done. Nobody needs your service anymore, Amy," Mykel said with a cold gaze. "I’m not going to devour you this time. I’ll make you disappear," he continued as he tightened his grip on her chin.

The abyss that wrapped Amaryllis’ body started to crush her body into tiny particles. The abyss kept crushing her into atoms and crushed them into the smallest particles. She was being crushed until there was nothing left, making her body nonexistent.

"My job here is done anyway," Amaryllis said with a huge grin.

"Goodbye, Amy," Mykel stared into Amaryllis and then crushed her head.
