Destroying My Own World-Chapter 286: One of them.
Elena enjoyed her time in that small world of Sasha, and the full moon lightened up the night. She was chilling in the park, smoking her cigarette and she didn’t remember how many packs she had smoked just to help her think more clearly. It did help her, and finally realized why Mykel smoked them not because of the effect of the cigarette itself, but because it felt like meditating.
"Did she lend this to me or did she give it to me?" Elena asked as she looked at the credit card in her hand. "I guess I should give it back before I leave," she puffed the smoke as she leaned her head and stared at the stars.
Suddenly Sasha came and stood right behind her, staring down at her with her eyebrows raised. Elena was surprised to see Sasha there in the park in the middle of the night.
"What are you doing here?" Elena asked and didn’t bother to stand up and just stared up at Sasha.
"Well. I don’t think I would be that shameless to let you go out there on your own knowing what’s happening right now," Sasha answered as she walked around the bench and sat next to Elena. "I have decided to join you," she pointed out and looked at Elena.
"Are you sure about this? This isn’t something that you can just consider. This is more serious and dangerous than you think. I’m not being disrespectful, but I don’t think you can help me at all," Elena said with a serious expression.
"What do you mean? Have you not realized by now about this world?" Sasha asked as she looked at the sky. "I’m the owner of this world, and you can say that I’m the owner of this whole universe. I can do whatever I want and I have something that only The Lord knows, and I believe if The Lord is still alive, he would be happy to have me with you," she continued.
Elena furrowed her eyebrows and then she realized that Sasha had been chosen by The Lord to do something about the situation back there on Earth. Nobody knew what Sasha possessed other than the Caveat Scroll, and Mykel might be hiding it from everyone else knowing it was unnecessary to them.
"Can you at least tell me what it is before I can consider letting you join me?" Elena asked with her eyebrows raised.

"Mykel possessed The Lord’s power, right? And you said that Mykel turned it into something new, but that’s not entirely true," Sasha answered as she looked at the falling stars because she wanted to see them. "The Lord’s power that he possessed, half of them is within me, inside my soul. Mykel put me inside his body is something that both The Lord and Mykel wanted," she looked Elena in the eye.
"You’re saying that they both have a hunch that something bad would happen to Mykel so both Mykel and The Lord entrusted half of their power to you?" Elena asked again.
"Actually, that’s not the case either," Sasha shook her head with a smile. "The truth is that I was created specifically to prevent Mykel from destroying the world. I’m just one of the many precautions that The Lord prepared to prevent Mykel from doing so," she continued.
"What are you talking about exactly?" Elena furrowed her eyebrows.
"I was created to become a leech, a parasite to his life. To put it simply, I’m something you can call an experiment where Mykel’s power could easily resonate with my existence, making me able to take his power and make it mine without him knowing," Sasha explained and she was ashamed when she was explaining it to Elena. "Mykel didn’t know that he had lost half of his power, and it was the same reason why Mykel couldn’t reach The Lord’s power no matter how long he kept cultivating the power," she added.
"You’re saying that if you go out of this world, you’re capable of taking his Singularity power?" Elena asked.
"I’m not sure about that, but there’s no reason to not try it out, right?" Sasha asked back.
Elena hummed and she never thought Mykel didn’t know about that, but that would be impossible for Mykel didn’t know that since he could read all of Sasha’s memories. She wondered if that was really the case because if so, that meant Mykel did know about his origin which made him prevent himself from turning into an absolute existence that devoured all life. The real question that she tried to find an answer to was when Mykel realized that.
"There are two possibilities as to why this world still exists. The first one is Mykel protecting this world or the second one is because his other self can’t devour this world," Sasha pointed out.
Elena nodded with understanding and then she stood up as she flicked the cigarette and puffed the smoke.
"This will be a one-way trip, Sasha. Are you seriously going to join me?" Elena asked and stood right in front of Sasha.
"Well," Sasha sighed as she stood up. "I did tell Mykel that I’m going to have a business trip. I only have a week or Mykel would be worried sick. That’s why..." she paused as she reached out her hand. She created a clone of herself, sharing the same thoughts and consciousness. "If I didn’t come back, she will replace me in my stead," she continued and looked at her clone.
Before Elena could say something, Sasha put her index finger on her lips as she stared into Elena’s eyes.
"I’m doing this because I want to protect this world. I’m not doing this because of Mykel. He kept his promise, and now this isn’t just something that I can enjoy leisurely, but I also have to protect what he gave me, right? I’m doing this on my own accord," Sasha explained.
Elena chuckled as she nodded her head with understanding.
"Alright, let’s go and find The Lord because I still believe he’s still out there. My life energy is still out there somewhere, going into the deep which means there’s a possibility he’s still alive," Elena pointed out as she looked at the sky.

Sasha brought Elena to outer space in an instant, and then they both looked at the vast universe. She then led Elena out of the reality that Mykel had created for her, and the moment they reached the edge, that was when the abyss tried to devour them.
Elena immediately released her life energy and sent the abyss away from her, but before she could assist Sasha, she realized that Sasha was unaffected by the abyss. It looked like Sasha had repelled the abyss and left her alone as if she wasn’t a threat.
"I can believe it," Elena said as she looked at Sasha.
Sasha was still overwhelmed by the situation she was in and she had no idea what was happening. She looked at her own body and then looked at Elena who was being devoured by the abyss but her life energy protected her. She then grabbed Elena’s hand, and that was when the abyss left both her and Elena alone. She was surprised by it as well, and she had no idea why she was being ignored in the first place.
"I think you’re right about it," Elena said as she looked at Sasha’s hand. "You’re considered an abyss by these things because you’re a part of them already," she pointed out.
"Hmm, you’re right. I can feel them, but faintly as if they were a part of me as well," Sasha nodded her head in agreement. "Also, the moment I left the world, I could feel something eerie," she pointed out as she looked around.
"Eerie? You’re not talking about the atmosphere or the abyss?" Elena asked.
"No. It’s somewhere far away, but I can’t exactly point it out where it is, but I know the direction it’s coming from," Sasha answered as she looked around.
"Where is it coming from?" Elena asked.
"Around there," Sasha answered as she pointed in front of her.
"Hmm, that’s weird because I can feel my life energy over there as well. Are you sure it’s not mine?" Elena asked.
"No, I can feel yours as well, but it’s different and it’s way beyond yours," Sasha answered as she shook her head.
"Interesting," Elena squinted her eyes and looked in the direction where Sasha pointed.
