Destroying My Own World-Chapter 356 Can’t be unseen.
Mykel opened his eyes, and he didn't expect to be sent back into the world, and he was sleeping on his bed. He looked at his phone and noticed that he woke up not long after the raid was cleared. He then turned the TV on to look at the news and checked if he had missed anything.
The world was once more safe from the invasion, but the main topic was still about Melissa becoming the president of Verdentia. He was watching her speech and the plans she had in mind when he felt like his heart aching whenever he took a breath.
"Since I have spared your life, I have to do something about you while you were asleep," Aevia appeared and sat next to Mykel. "Let's just say it's an insurance for me. When you have any thought about me, your heart will ache, and when you have a tiny bit or a quick thought of any ill intention you have to me, you will die," she explained.
Mykel put his hand on his chest and he couldn't feel any heartbeat, only numbness around his chest. He couldn't find his heart inside his body, and then he looked at Aevia with his eyebrows furrowed, asking her where his heart was.
"I can't trust you and will never be," Aevia paused to stand up. "But you can keep showing me your honesty to me. Nothing will ever change, and this is the boundary that you won't be able to break or pass," she looked down at Mykel.
"Is there anything else that I need to know?" Mykel asked calmly and stared into Aevia's eyes.
Aevia was waiting for Mykel's heart to react, but she was disturbed that even at that moment, Mykel didn't have any thoughts about her. His heart was beating normally and that only meant he didn't have a single care about her or whatever she did to him.
"No, but the moment your heart stops beating, I want you to know that everyone that you know and care about will follow you," Aevia warned and then disappeared.
Mykel changed his shirt since there was a big hole in it and then left the room to report to Elestria about the raid.
Elestria was confused when Mykel came to see her even though she had just heard the news of the raid clearance. She then remembered how strong he was and believed he had the ability to move from one place to another using a portal.
"I heard a Goddess descended during the raid, is that true?" Elestria asked.
"She didn't descend, Zachary offered himself to be possessed by the Goddess. Those who are gifted with unique powers are the descendants of the Gods," Mykel answered as he breathed heavily.
"What do you mean by the descendants of the Gods?!" Elestria jolted from her seat and looked at Mykel with a shocked expression. "You're saying some of the Gifted have God's blood in their vein?" she asked as she walked down from her throne to approach Mykel.
"Yes, and I believe Your Highness is one of them," Mykel nodded his head.
Hearing that made Elestria feel amazing and believed she was indeed above everyone else. She wondered if she could become like the Gods, overseeing the humans in the world, ruling them all. But then she realized Mykel's heavy breathing and how he looked exhausted and troubled.
"Are you alright?" Elestria put her hand on Mykel's upper arm. "Your aura is getting paler and paler," she looked at Mykel's aura around him slowly dimming.
"May I rest, Your Highness?" Mykel asked as his eyes started to feel hot whenever he blinked his eyes.
"Yes, you may," Elestria nodded her head and she was genuinely worried because she knew what she was seeing.
Mykel was about to leave the throne room, but he collapsed before he could open the door. Elestria who saw it immediately brought in the palace doctor to check on Mykel and she looked terrified.
Elysande who heard what had happened to Mykel rushed to the Queen's palace to check on Mykel. On her way to the treatment room, she saw Elestria standing outside the room waiting anxiously.
"Ester, what happened?!" Elysande asked as she caught her breath.
"Let's talk privately," Elestria grabbed Elysande's hand and brought Elysande to her chamber.
"What is it? Why are you acting so weirdly? You're making me scared," Elysande asked and looked at Elestria who was sitting at her desk, thinking with her eyes closed.
"I have seen it so many times, and I wish I was wrong, but it appears Mykel's life is in danger," Elestria looked at Elysande with a worried expression. "His aura was dimming and dissipating from his body. You know that I never wrong when it comes to this," she added.
Elysande was speechless as she shook her head slowly and repeated. She didn't want to believe it and immediately left the room to check on Mykel's condition. She was holding her expression when the servants and the maids were to greet her, and the moment she entered the room, she shed tears when she looked at Mykel was unconscious.
The kids were staying by Mykel said when they saw Elysnde wiping the tears off. They didn't know why she cried, and they didn't have any idea about Mykel's condition or what had happened to him since they believed he was having a cold.
Aevia was curious about Mykel's condition as well and wondered what it was and what made him like that. It wasn't her doing or something wrong with Mykel's heart, so she thought it was something else, but she didn't know because she couldn't find the source. But she could see that his condition had gone back to normal again.
Mykel opened his eyes and he felt weak while at the same time he felt his whole body was freezing cold. It was bearable and then realized Elysande rested her head on the bed while sitting on the chair and holding his hand. He then looked out the window and it was nighttime already which meant he was unconscious for half a day.
"Mykel?!" Elysande felt movements on the bed and saw Mykel sitting on the bed. "You need to rest!" she said and she looked so worried.
"I'm fine now..." Mykel leaned his head on the bed. "I don't know what happened, but I'm going to be okay," he assured.

Elysande who kept holding Mykel's cold hand noticed that his body temperature had risen a bit and was no longer freezing cold. She was so relieved and couldn't hold herself back from hugging him and sat on top of him.
"You can't be so sure. Your body is still cold, so it would be better if I give you my warmth," Elysande looked at Mykel as she slowly slid down the straps on her shoulders. Your adventure continues at novelbuddy
"It might become hot in here," Mykel put his hands on her waist and pulled her closer. "You just want to do this, don't you?" he asked.
Elysande smiled as she leaned her face forward and kissed Mykel so passionately. She then removed her dress completely and helped Mykel remove his shirt and trousers.
The morning came and Elestria was on her way to check on Mykel, and when she entered the room, she was startled. She immediately looked away and heard a panic rustling sound of the blanket because she saw Elysande in a position that she would never have thought that Elysande could do.
"Ester..." Elysande cleared her throat as she covered her body with a blanket. Her face was so red and looked like a tomato.
"I see that you have recovered. There's something I want to discuss with you, so take your time and I'll be waiting in my office," Elestria said and left hurriedly.
Elestria couldn't stop thinking about when Elysande was sitting on top of Mykel while Mykel caressed her body, making her drown in pleasure. She couldn't stop hearing the noises those two made, and the moan that her older sister made. She was blushing all the way to her office that the maids and servants thought she had a fever.
Mykel came in with Elysande and Elestria looked at them and made it so awkward for them. She couldn't hide her flustered expression, but she tried so hard not to think about it after seeing Mykel's thing.
"I need your opinion about the plan to take the Verdentia Republic and its people," Elestria cleared her throat. "I believe you already know about the plan thoroughly, and I need your opinion if the plan would work or if there's something that needs to be added."
"The plan is perfect, it's just a matter of when Your Highness is going to do it. For now, the ray of hope is coming back, but it would be a false hope when Melissa can't recover from the scarcity. It would be best to let her do her things on her own since she hasn't asked for your help yet," Mykel pointed out. "The chance of her to recover is nonexistent," he added.
"What made you so sure she can't recover from this on her own?" Elestria asked.
"I can make it impossible," Mykel answered casually.
Elestria raised her eyebrows and forgot that she had Mykel who could do the dirty work for her. She then nodded her head with understanding, but somehow she worried about his condition and didn't want him to go yet.
"You should rest more for now. It's not a suggestion, it's an order," Elestria said. "You're dismissed and you can rest for more," she continued.
Mykel bowed his head and left the room, leaving Elysande alone with Elestria.
"We need to talk," Elysande stared at Elestria.
"Okay," Elestria nodded her head.
