Devil Slave (Satan system)-Chapter 1275: Pepsodent 4 (The Race)
The Elven magic was that of Creation. It fundamentally allowed them to replicate the atomic structure of things as they saw fit.
However, for this to happen, one also needed extensive knowledge on the item that they wanted to replicate. This included its structure, Chemical properties, Physical properties and how it reacts with other elements.
Of course, things only got more complicated if it was a compound and not just an element, as how they chemically combined was a factor to note.
The details and formation of an item even got deeper if it is inscribed with runes, as runes have the potential to fundamentally change the foundations of a particular substance. Of course, this went into even deeper details depending on the kind of runes.
For example, a soul rune can turn an ordinary mirror into a parallel world and therefore change its fundamental composition or function.
The different ways creation magic could be applied takes many many years to learn. Luckily for high elves, they had a long lifespan.
Unfortunately, Lana had not lived that long in her life, but having status as royalty ensured that she got education that was far different and more concise than the average.
And in their education one did not necessarily need to memorize the periodic table, but as long as one knew the composition requirement of the substance before them and the basic function of the runes that alter their structure, one may use a certain high elven technique to manipulate it as they saw fit.
Just in case needed, Commander Kael had sent over the schematics on the craft, how it was made, and basically how the technology worked. Everyone on this mission was aware of this, and that was why no one opposed when Enel had ordered that Lana went out to check the hull of the Craft.
She waved her hands, and her elven bloodline came to life as she wielded creation magic to fix the damage.
Her total attention was on the huge burn mark on the corner of the craft.
A hole that was so deep that wires within could even be seen. All attention was on the task before her, and that was when another shot aimed at her head rushed towards her.
If the person that had fired this shot had looked closer, they would have noticed that her creation magic was surprisingly not making a way to fix the Hull of the craft. Even more, she had a slight smile on her face.
*Bang!*
"AHHH!!!" She screamed as the hit got her head and she fell off the body of the craft.
Allison widened her eyes as she could see what was going on, "she has been shot down. Lana was shot down."
Enel frowned at this, but he said nothing more except, "Keep going. How long before we reach the capital city?"
"A little more," Commander Marian answered. Just then another shot hit the ship. "Structural intergrity is being compromised. We need to land or we will crash."
"But from the looks of things, our attackers are at least in the Great Demon rank. If we land here, we will be facing powerhouses that can turn us to swish cheese." Allison added.
Just then, far ahead of them, two men floated in the air, their faces were behind clothes.
For one to float in the air without wings, then they must at least be in the Deep Demon rank.
Enel looked at them and was pissed. He could see Allison and marian looking at him, as if to plead that they wanted him to wake Tomato to help.
But Enel was not such a man. When one had a tool, one should use it. But too much reliance on a tool and one would never be able to grow their own strength, to become their own person, and this much was an abomination in his book.
By now, Enel knew. He was not dumb and had already guessed that this was a trap. Of course, he did not know how this people jnew that he was coming, but this was most definitely a trap.
But this was one that he wanted to over come on his own.
Just then, he heard an alert from the system.
<Alert: New Mission>
<Host must out run Great Demon rankers and reach Pepsodent Capital city Of Pep and invest ’Hate’ in them.>
<Deadline: 2 minutes>
<Does host accept the mission>
"What is the reward criteria?" Enel asked.
<Alert: Reward: +2000 points on all stats>
Enel suddenly had a side smile at this. That much points will allow him enter the Deep demon rank. But he was not surprised by this.
The more difficult the task was, the more generous the rewards were. After all, he was currently only a lesser rank demon cultivator.
Back in the eighth earth, Great demons ruled the plane. They were highly feared and highly respected. Such was the kind of power that they commanded.
And now, he had to face them again.
However, it was not to fight them. It was just to outrun them.
Although two minutes looked like a very long time, in actuallity, it was not at all.

Deep Demons could cover hundreds of kilometers in a mere second. When Lenny was a great demon cultivator before, he could cover anywhere on the eighth earth in mere seconds if he so wished.
Their speed was exceptional. the worse part was that he was not even given a head start or something of that nature.
He had to just face them and out run them. This was a really terrible dilemma.
Nevertheless, the reward the system was offering was just too much to resist.
"How long till we reach the city capital?" Enel asked.
"At full speed? Maybe around two minutes." Allison answered.
"Good!" Chiron gave a smirk, "Then in that case, I am taking control." He clicked a panel on his side and instantly, his sit pushed forward to the front while Marian and Allison went behind him.
All the while, Tomato was still snoring behind...
