Lenny breathed deeply, "And how would you kill him? How would you pin the blame on Ares?" He asked.

Crystal shrugged, "I would assasinate using the signature Fallen Rune of the Great House Ares I had stolen"

Lenny’s eyebrows slightly furrowed, "Is your main body in Evernight?" He asked.

Crystal sighed softly, "I guess since I will be pulling such stunts, it would expose the presence of my main body"

"Well the answer is yes, and my main body will be in charge of assasinating the target to prevent any mistakes"

"I have an army of avatars who will be guarding my main body" She explained, Lenny chuckled, "Is that supposed to deter me?" He asked.

Crystal shrugged, "Well I guess yes, I came here to make a deal with you, I don’t want interference"

"I know your kind, you are dangerous and can’t be predicted"

"So I want you not to get involved in my assasination attempt" She spoke calmly, Lenny nods "And what would you offer me?" He asked.

Crystal lingered for a moment, "What do you want?" She asked.

Lenny chuckled, "Good question, the answer is I don’t know" He sighed.

"But we could come to an agreement tho" He adds, Crystal raised an eyebrow "Oh?" She smiled, "That would be the best"

"It seems you will be needing my name later" She said.

Lenny smirked, "I hate dealing with smart asses" He chuckled, "Well that’s correct my lady"

"I may need to kill someone and if my strength aren’t enough, you will be assisting me" He stated.

Crystal thought about it before nodding, "That shouldn’t be an issue, but when do you plan on erasing my soul corruption?" She asked.

Lenny shrugged, "I don’t know, maybe a year later when I’m strong enough but this enough to keep the Den of Thieves off my back"

"Isn’t that right?" He asked, but Crystal was quiet, she knew Lenny spoke the truth.

While her soul remains corrupted by his Fallen Rune.

The Cult of Greed won’t make a direct move against him, he is holding her hostage without even keeping her.

Crystal sighed, she found no good words to retort, "So do we have a deal?" She asked.

Crystal heaved a sigh of relief, without Lenny’s interference.

She knew the assasination is good as completed.

And Detective Carlow was summoned to the office of the Sheriff who is also a commander.

Sheriff Langston laid-back on his seat, his legs crossed as he read the files presented to him.

"First it was Nastec" He muttered, "Then Juran, Kesan and Frutella, all have something in common"

"They ran mad and killed their friends for unknown reasons, and the Fallen Regulators of their friends were stolen in the process" Sheriff Langston sighed as he read.

He was a Rank 6 Fallen Regulator and far higher than Detective Carlow who is Rank 3.

Only when asked a question would Detective Carlow dare to speak.

Detective Carlow only nods his head as Sheriff Langston, an elderly man continued.

Sheriff Langston had grey hair and grey beards, quite muscular and several scars seen across his face.

His aura was overwhelming.

This is a titled Lord in the flesh, one not even Detective Carlow have any hope of challenging.

He hasn’t even crossed the realm of a titled General not to talk of a titled Lord.

Sheriff Langston raised his head, he glanced at Detective Carlow for a moment "This is indeed the work of a thief" He sighed.

"And besides it’s hard to identify those Unknowns because they could claim to be any of the Knowns"

"Thieves are powerful and difficult to handle so while you head this operation, two more detectives will join you"

"And I will also be commissioning a titled General if it proves to be difficult, don’t worry Carlow...."

"Whatever the outcome, you won’t be judged by it but if you defeat that thief"

"I’ll personally recommend your promotion and advancement to a titled General, to a Rank 4 Fallen Regulator"

"So do a good job and bring me the head of that thief" He stated.

Crystal left his room and Lenny rested on his arm-chair, he crossed his legs, staring deep into the shimmering laptop screen.

He chuckled softly, "This is interesting"

Corinthian manifested himself, he smirked "Yes it is" He slightly tilted his head, "I wonder how she would feel when she realized you are about to rat her out to the Evernight Police Command"
