After a very exhausting night, Aditya was still sleeping. It is not normal for him to sleep this late and even miss breakfast with the family. He himself said that no member of this family can skip lunch and dinner because he believed that these two times were the time that depends on the bond of the family.

But today was an exception. Julia and others saw how tired he was after exercising till morning. The girls couldn't bear to see him in him like this and insisted that he sleep. His objection was outright rejected by everyone.

It had been six days since he last slept. For six days, he was out of the Empire. The only times when he returned to the Dragon Palace were when it was time to have breakfast and dinner with everyone. As for Lunch, Julia, Lilith, Riya, Lara, and Rin personally bought him lunch, and they ate together.

He was very busy upgrading the defensive Mana barriers of all major cities of his allies. This was a huge task because there were just too many major cities in the Allied empires. Aditya did not have much time on his hands because he also needed to go to the Main Continent.

The more time he spends here, the more damage his cousin Ren and the Organisation will do.

Time was short, and there were just too many things to be done; as a result, he even kind of neglected spending time with his woman. Fortunately, his wives were very understanding in this regard, and they showed their full support.

After he had completed his work by the time of dinner, he returned to the Dragon Palace when everyone was eating. After eating, which was not necessary for him at his current cultivation stage, but it was something that was very hard to let go of, because small things like this were one of those features that reminded him that he was once a human or mortal.

After dinner, every girl came to his bedroom and the whole night no one slept. Once again, he dominated everyone till next day, breakfast time, before finally feeling the exhaustion of continuously working six days and six nights.

Having intense and non-stop sex for the whole morning with his woman refreshed his mind.

But the exhaustion was still there, slowly weighing down on his body. He could have taken stamina recovery pills to get rid of it, but he chose not to. There was no urgent situation right now, so it did not feel worth using such valuable pills for something that would naturally recover with time. Not to mention, taking too many pills at once has negative effects on the body.

Spencer could fill his position and take care of the daily administrative work.

While he was sleeping, suddenly he sensed something that was calling him or more like he could feel that a part of his empire was being attacked. This feeling was extremely hard to describe. But the feeling was sharp and not faint. He could clearly feel it, making it impossible to ignore.

He could not see or understand what this threat was, but he could feel it was a major threat and identify the exact part of his empire this being was attacking.

He snapped his eyes open. The colour and shape of his pupils instantly change to dragon eyes, becoming large slits. Dragon scales started appearing all over his body except his face.

The next second, he vanished from his bedroom.

Just then, Lilith happened to come back to lie down with him. As soon as breakfast was over, she gave some excuse about cultivating and came to his bedroom without arousing any suspicion. But seeing the bad empty, she froze.

The big, bright smile on her face disappeared and was replaced with a look of confusion.

"Where did he go?" She felt like crying. While others were busy, she wanted to use this opportunity to sleep with him alone. She immediately spread her senses all over the floating island, but she could not sense him anywhere in the dragon Palace.

"My husband, where did you go? At least, take me with you." She even informed the Principal of the Imperial Academy that she won't come to teach today just so that she could sleep with him.

Scene Change to Westnia

The colossal wave of golden flame destroyed the transparent defensive Mana barriers of the whole city like it was paper.

"Here it comes!"

"All soldiers combine your mana together to form one gigantic Mana barrier," but even the captain who ordered this knew in his heart that this was just useless.

'Is it really the end of us?' he just hoped in his heart that the dragon monarch would arrive just in time to protect them like he always did.

In that moment, a figure appeared between the attack and the city. At the tip of his finger that was pointed at the incoming attack, there was a very small orb-shaped crimson flame.

Because of the brightness coming from the huge, colossal golden wave attack, it was impossible to see the crimson colour of the flame orb.

The figure kept adding Mana to the attack until it almost engulfed him. Just before the attack was about to touch him, he flicked his finger and sent the small orb that was barely bigger than the size of his eyeball towards the sea of golden flames.

For a moment, it looked like the golden flames had entirely consumed the small Crimson flame orb and were continuing to advance towards the city. But not even a second had passed when an earth-shaking explosion shook the entire heaven and earth with its explosion.

Just before the explosion, Aditya appeared before the soldiers and joined the soldiers in expanding the Manor barrier to the entire city and also making it stronger. Creating and holding such a massive barrier consumed a huge amount of mana. He alone could not have done it.

Booooooooooooooooooooom!!!!!!!

The explosion was so huge, and the shockwave generated from it was so powerful that it almost shattered the barrier that everyone together had created.

The explosion collided with the barrier. Immediately, hundreds of cracks began to appear all over it.

"Everyone, hold on. We can do this!" the captain shouted, but he himself was coughing blood from overexerting his Mana.

But he refused to let go. He stubbornly kept pouring in Mana, even though he knew that if he continued, he might faint.

Others did the same. Soldiers from all over the city joined hands and continuously kept pouring their Mana into the barrier to make sure it could hold on; otherwise, thousands upon thousands of people in this city would die, including them.

Fortunately, with everyone's effort, the cracks did not spread any further, and they managed to hold the barrier longer.

At the last second, the barrier finally broke as more than half of the soldiers had passed out from overexerting their Mana. This included the captain, the vice captain, and other high-order cultivators.

The last bit of the explosion reached the city and damaged some tall buildings in the process. The result was that the attack that should have wiped out half of the city immediately and burned the other half alive was stopped. Only less than 0.5% of the entire explosion's power managed to reach the city and do a little damage, though even that harmed a few hundred people.

Once everything was over, all the soldiers collapsed onto their backs or knees. Everyone was panting, except for one figure who stood among them.

The captain, the vice captain, and everyone else slowly looked in his direction.

"Your Majesty!" Just seeing the face of their monarch brought them more joy than anything else. Every soldier, upon learning that the Dragon Monarch was here, was finally able to sit down and let out a sigh of relief. They finally felt peace, even though the black dragon was still a few hundred meters outside the city, staring at them.

Aditya exchanged a look of acknowledgement with the captain, who had bravely fought with everyone and, most importantly, coordinated them almost to perfection. Otherwise, they would not have held on this long.

Even in the face of despair, these soldiers refused to give up. This itself was very admirable, and this was the courage that he, as the emperor, wanted from every single soldier of the Istarin Empire.

With their Dragon Monarch, all the soldiers lowered their guards and simply began enjoying what was about to come next. There was no need for them to do anything anymore.

"I did not expect him to come here this early." The mysterious man of the organisation, who was watching everything from a distance, was very surprised to see the Dragon Monarch arrive and save the city. It had only been a minute since they started attacking, yet the Dragon Monarch was already here.

His artefact then caught something a few kilometres away from the city, silently floating in the sky. When he looked closely, he was surprised to discover that it was the Dragon Palace itself.

With the Dragon Palace nearby, Aditya was nearly invincible.
