Dungeon Overlord: Monster Girl Harem!-Chapter 134: An Invitation to the Black Market Auction
Zafira lay sprawled across the bed, snoring and kicking out every few moments.

Her sweet, charming scent filled the room after their night of pleasure.
Meanwhile, Leonhardt fiddled with the black letter—he couldn't help but feel drawn to it. The envelope was jet black, dark like midnight, with a golden border forming small golden roses, with a large blooming flower in the centre encircled by chains.
"I wonder why I can open it easily, but Zafira suffered."
He used a small blade to open the envelope. Slice. The blade, cleanly cutting through the red stamp pressed on the back.
'The sender really likes chains.'
Because the letter also had the same chain border, along with a message written in a sweet, copper scented ink.
"Is this blood?" Sniff. Yes, it was blood... monster blood.
The strangest thing about the letter was that the top wrote his name.
—To Dungeon Master, Leonhardt
The Briar Court cordially invites you to visit our 115th annual black market auction in the depths of debauchery and greed.
This invitation allows you to bring two people.
After all, lust is the most delicious of sins.
Time: Midnight - XX - XX - XXXX
The message was brief, but each letter throbbed in Leonhardt's mind like a magical spell, forcing him to grit his teeth to endure the ache.
It seemed he needed to understand more about demons.
Nevertheless, he wondered what method the demons used to learn about him. Not only that, what of the system—did all dungeon masters have one?
'But if that's true...'
He brushed along the paper before a short, sharp stabbing pain spread through his finger. Almost like the letter itself bit him, as droplets of blood dripped onto the black paper.
"Ack!" Leonhardt wafted his hand and grimaced, looking down at the letter. "Eh?" The surface became different, and the letter contents added a few lines to the bottom that weren't visible a moment before.
— Esteemed Dungeon Master
Please return our princess before the end of the auction. If you do not, do this...
We will take action.
The heiress of Lust cannot remain in the filthy land of humans!
Should you wish to face the full might and enmity of the demon empire, then test our patience, for the Briar Court is always watching from the shadows.
"...great." he muttered, looking at the beautiful woman who dug herself into his heart and became someone indispensable to him. "I must return to the dungeon."
Leonhardt held the dungeon stone in his hand, the pale blue stone cold to the touch as it rolled in his palm.
"I won't leave her here," his gaze focused on Zafira in a deep, exhausted sleep. "Let's go home, Zafira."
Immediately after, he smiled while lifting her body. His right hand grasping under her thighs, and his left hand under her armpit. He carried her in a bridal carry and stepped towards the centre of the room and closed his eyes.
The next moment, he crushed the dungeon stone.
Although he wanted to solve the business in the human city, the auction would happen in five days, and Leonhardt didn't want to bother.
A sparkling blue powder surrounded them in a swirl of wind.
Flickers of magic illuminated the powder as the entire room filled with an azure light.
"Here we go."
Space distorted and the figure of Leonhardt and Zafira twisted, as if sucked into a black hole.
Their figures vanished in a whirlpool, leaving behind only silence and the scent of sex.

Crackle. The air flashed with a dull light before two figures appeared in the unlit room.
Leonhardt's coat and body flickered with magical power, the blue dust turning white, powerless, and a large amount of Dungeon Points vanished.
"Haa..." he took a deep breath, the sweet, pure, filtered air of the dungeon cleaner and fresher than the air outside, thanks to Zafira's hard work. "Let's tuck her in first."
His massive four-poster bed loomed ahead, draped in velvet purple sheets—Zafira's touch, not his, but he never minded the softness.
Leon lowered her and placed her on the soft bed.
She hummed "Nhm..." before finding a comfortable position.
Zafira insisted on the velvet. He'd never have picked it himself—but as she snored, sinking into her kingdom of dreams, he smiled anyway.
Leonhardt brushed her black hair, sliding the strands from her cheeks. "I didn't expect that I would fall for you when we first me." he muttered, thinking back to the letter. "Zafira, no matter what I have to face, I won't let you go."
After a short time, he left the room and tapped the small red lock, meaning she wouldn't be disturbed by anything.
He stepped into his throne room—the dark marble walls shone with flecks of silver, his empty throne and the low humming of the dungeon's magic flowing through the walls like blood in a body.
"Let's get started."
Without care for decorum, Leon dropped into his throne, leaning to the side as he opened the dungeon panels with the flick of his fingertip.
Leonhardt tapped the floating red glyph on the armrest of his throne.
A ripple of vivid purple light pulsed out from the contact point, followed by the soft hum of the dungeon's magic activating. Runes etched into the marble walls flared like veins of mana threaded through the obsidian stone.
"System, show me all under-used terrain nodes, resource points and weak spots in the dungeon."
[Yes, Master]
The air shimmered in front of him. A hexagonal display panel expanded midair sections of the dungeon glowed in faint red, orange or green.
Red meant vulnerable, orange meant danger, and green meant acceptable. He scowled. "Too many weak points," Leonhardt grunted. "I've been lazy."
"System... what if the intruders were demons?"
[...]
That's when his eyes widened, pupils dilating as he couldn't keep his mouth closed.
"Red... all red, how can that be. Even the outpost and the dark elf village?"
Ifrit played along for once, but the moment she showed the truth, she regretted giving reasoning first.
Because of seeing Leonhardt's reaction, her chest ached... a painful throbbing like something sharp got stuck inside her throat.
He pinched two fingers together, zoomed in, and selected the goblin outpost and northern dungeon, the shade a deep violet even worse than red.
"Convert the terrain to be helpful for goblins, what upgrades can I purchase for the goblins themselves?"
"...no forget it," he sighed before covering his face, squeezing his temples. "Summon all regular goblins in the outpost, tell them to wait for me on the second floor plains. Don't contact Gobbolas and Gobbomir alone."
Although he wanted to remain kind and gentle, life would not allow it.
[Leonhardt, are you alright?]
(Yeah, your face looks dark and scary.)
"I'm fine, but I just realised my nativity... did you know Zafira was the next ruler of Lust?"
[I thought it might be possible... forgive me.]
"Silly, I wont get made at you." Leonhardt rubbed the throne with his finger, speaking softer to the two women in his soul chamber. "Sorry Dravanna, is it that bad?"
(Well, you're still handsome, haha. Don't apologise, you have my support.)
[M-Mine too!]
He would soon meet with countless goblins, of the three hundred serving him, most served Gobbolas or Gobomir. However, just over one hundred didn't have anyone and remained regular ember goblins, which couldn't continue.
So Leonhardt bought several things from the Dungeon Master's shop. To others, these were worthless, but to Leon, who valued goblins, they were a gold mine.
"I'm off to meet them, wish me luck, ladies."
'Come to think of it, I wonder how long it will take Nyxara to catch my scent...' he chuckled to himself as the purple box of light enveloped him. "She's more like a feline than an elf."
Leonhardt found himself in the middle of a beautiful grassy plain, with mountains and forests in the distance. "The dungeon is amazing... can I reach those mountains?"
He squatted and brushed his hand along the verdant blades of grass, warm, smooth soil that bounced with each pat. "This is... my dungeon?" A strange, ticklish sensation travelled up his spine, a sense of belonging and link forming for the first time.
"Why did I wait this long to truly check my dungeon?" This floor would greet adventurers who pushed through the first five rooms upstairs.
However, he couldn't understand sacrificing this beautiful land.
[Don't feel down, you've done well!]
(Ifrit, don't baby him... he wants honest and harsh guidance.)
Both women gave valid responses, although he didn't respond. Leonhardt appreciated their presence and help, and he couldn't deny that he needed the harsh guidance.
'Please support my choices if they are correct.'
[Always]
(If you let me out, big sister will guide you even better~)
Despite Dravanna's sultry joke, Leonhardt knew the two meant the best for him, and as the goblins started appearing.
Their faces concerned, lost looks all gazing around until they saw him and, like hungry little cats, they rushed towards him with bright eyes and smiles.
"Dungeon Master!" A small female goblin stepped forward.
Leon presumed she might be their spokesperson. "Are you the one who shall speak for your brothers and sister?"
"Y-Yes, My Lord!" her voice was cute, with a slight accent that tickled his chest.
"Today, I have summoned you all, my dear goblins. To give you a chance!
...a chance to evolve!"
