Earth's Alpha Prime-390. ASURAN
Chapter 390: ASURAN
Jay caught the drop of Moro’s blood mid air, suspending it with telekinesis before activating Rownak’s first innate exclusive skill.

Upon using this skill on Moro’s blood, another notification appeared, revealing details about the War Asura Bloodline, including its weaknesses. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Jay was already familiar with the War Asura Bloodline’s rank and characteristics thanks to MJ. What he didn’t have, however, was data on its weaknesses.
One particular weakness caught his eye: Hex Blood Poison.
Even MJ didn’t have any records of what the it was, though it could be guessed to be a lethal toxin, especially to War Asuras.
Setting that aside, Jay was relieved to see the compatibility reading above 66%. That meant the transfusion could proceed safely without much risk of failure.
After all, a failed transfusion would only cause a temporary stat reduction.
Jay wasn’t too concerned, though. Even if that happened, only his base stats would be halved, not his Looted stats, which now made up more than ninety percent of his overall total.
Still, Jay wondered why humans had such high compatibility with the War Asura race. MJ then answered before he could even ask aloud.
“Master, the human race is quite neutral. They lack inherent traits or special abilities, which makes them compatible with most Bloodlines.”
Jay nodded thoughtfully. It made sense. But the process was irreversible. Once he chose a race to integrate, it couldn’t be undone.
He discussed the matter with Rownak, explaining the War Asura’s benefits, especially its extraordinary regeneration.
Since Jay could counter any potential corruption or hatred effects using the Origin Sigils, Rownak didn’t need to worry about losing control.
When everything was settled, Jay looked at him seriously.
“This is going to hurt. A lot. Are you ready?”
Rownak nodded, bracing himself. “Go ahead.”
Jay gave a faint nod. “Alright. Let’s begin.”
Everyone watched curiously as Jay raised his hand, focusing on the small droplet of Moro’s blood floating before him.
He activated Genome Transfusion and the drop began to glow, swirling with faint red light before dissolving into a mist.
The blood mist drifted toward Jay and sank into his skin, disappearing without a trace.
A moment later, Rownak’s expression twisted as pain surged through him like a tidal wave. He fell to his knees, gripping the nearby sofa for support, but his Tier-2 strength only caused it to collapse under his grasp.
“Rownak!”
Qew called out, hurrying toward him. She reached out, but the moment her hand touched him, Rownak cried out in pain and collapsed onto all fours, his body trembling violently.
None of them had expected it to be this painful. Even as onlookers, they could almost feel the agony just from hearing his screams.
When they turned to Jay, the contrast was shocking. He stood perfectly still, eyes closed, his face calm but tense with slight discomfort.
Kay and Qew exchanged a silent glance, the same thought crossing both their minds.

‘Just what has he been through… to stay this calm through that kind of pain?’
They knew from MJ about the challenges Jay faced, but not the kind of agony he endured every time he entered INVERSE Mode. Over time, he had grown used to it. His high pain tolerance coupled with physical resistance made it far more bearable for him than for Rownak.
The process lasted for a few minutes before finally coming to an end. Rownak’s breathing slowed. Sweat drenched his face and clothes.
Qew hurried over again and handed him a water bottle.
“You feeling better now?” she asked softly.
Rownak uncorked it with shaky fingers, gulping down a few sips before replying between breaths.
“Yeah… I thought I was going to die from that.”
As he caught his breath, something strange began to happen. Memories and knowledge started flooding into his mind like water bursting from a dam, fragments of new understanding and instincts he didn’t recognize before.
It was overwhelming at first, but as time passed, it became easier to process all the knowledge. Rownak wasn’t confused about why it was happening. He knew it was because of his 2nd Exclusive skill.

Genome Heritage ⧼Passive⧽:

With it came a clear understanding of all the abilities he now had access to. He even realized, to his surprise, that he could speak the native language of the War Asuras.
It was unsettling at first, knowing how vividly he could recall their instincts, their brutal way of life, and their unending thirst for battle. The memories of how War Asuras killed and destroyed every living being in sight flashed through his mind.
Yet, strangely, none of it felt foreign. The inherited knowledge and instincts of the Asuras flowed through him as if they were his own, though without the hatred that defined them.
Through those memories, he understood that the vitality surging through him was the famed regeneration of the War Asura Bloodline, capable of restoring flesh and bone faster than he could even comprehend.
But that wasn’t all. He began to feel something else, a strange awareness, like the blood in his veins was responding to his will.
Rownak recalled how Moro had earlier drawn a drop of blood with ease. Wanting to try the same, he focused on his right hand. Slowly, the tip of his index finger deepened in color, and a single drop of blood formed between his nail and skin, rising to float before him.
Rownak’s eyes widened in amazement. The connection between him and the blood felt alive, like an extension of himself. It moved at his will, shifting shape effortlessly from a droplet to a blade, then from a sphere to a thin thread that danced in the air.
Then, as he recalled the details of his 3rd Exclusive Skill, everything clicked into place.

Blood Affinity: Grade-3

As long as the genomes he transfused in the future carried elemental affinities, it would be equivalent to wielding multiple elemental talents.
For now, the Blood Affinity was only at Grade-3, limited by his Stage-3 Mastery, but that would change as his mastery advanced.
Rownak couldn’t help but look forward to what other Racial Genomes he could merge with in the future.
Meanwhile, Jay’s anticipation matched his own, perhaps even surpassed it.
Previously, he had accepted that he would never be able to acquire a Bloodline. His Innate Talent simply didn’t allow it, and he had resigned himself to waiting until he possibly awakened his Predecessor’s Bloodline, like his grandfather.
But Rownak’s talent had changed everything. It opened a new path, one where Jay could gain the benefits of multiple races.
He was initially concerned that║LOOT║might restrict him from doing so, but to his surprise, it didn’t.
Now that his race had officially changed, Jay asked MJ to project Rownak’s simulated status screen to confirm whether his race had changed in the same way as his own.
