The most noticeable change was his race. It now displayed as Asuran, a fusion of Human and War Asura. The change mattered little compared to the benefits it brought.
Jay shifted his attention to the Genome Traits: Hyper Regeneration and Battle Instinct. The latter was the most coveted ability of the War Asuras, at least for him.
He had always been fascinated by Moro’s ability to fight purely on instinct. Even after training for years and battling countless monsters since the Trial Program began, Jay still wasn’t nowhere confident he could defeat Moro in a fair one-on-one fight under equal stats, without relying on any skills.
Of course, the traits were not as potent for Rownak and him as they were for Moro, who had undergone complete Bloodline Metamorphosis. They operated at just thirty percent effectiveness, but even that was enough for Jay to feel a significant boost in combat awareness and vitality.
He looked forward to reaching higher mastery stages and increasing their effectiveness. But, he wasn’t sure how many stages it would take to unlock race-specific transformations like Moro’s War Asura Skin.

He didn’t dwell on it for long. Instead, he focused on potential races that could compensate for his weaknesses while ensuring Rownak remained well-rounded and capable of surviving even the harshest battles.
Bloodlines weren’t the only option; biological samples from other races could also work. Considering the large number of Alpha Chosen across different races, there were plenty of possibilities.
Lycanthropes, Magmoids, Horned Beetles, Owlites; all had their own strengths, but none stood out as ideal choices for him.
The only ones that stood out were Drogor’s Attack Dragon Bloodline and Seath’s Timehowler Bloodline. Both had tremendous potential, but he decided not to rush his decision.
With the Bloodline Realm about to open soon, Jay knew he would encounter far more new races and bloodlines before making his final choice for the other two slots.
Kay stepped closer and glanced at Rownak’s projected status screen before saying, “Your talent’s pretty good. And now that I think about it, it’s somewhat similar to my sister’s. Yours lets you fuse genomes from different races, while hers fuses items, skills, and elements.”
With Kay putting it that way, Qew, who stood with her arms crossed, tried to hide her blush and kept a composed expression as if it didn’t matter. But inside, she was quietly pleased that their talents were somewhat similar.
Before anyone could say more, Udhay, standing a few steps away, cleared his throat exaggeratedly.
“Ahem! Since we’re talking about awesome talents…”
Everyone turned toward him. He puffed out his chest and spread his arms in an overly dramatic pose.
“Mine lets me fly freely in the sky!”
To prove it, he focused, and his body lifted a few feet off the ground. He wobbled a little at first but managed to steady himself, hovering in the air. Then, with careful concentration, he drifted around the room in slow circles before landing lightly with a grin.
“Ta-da! Impressive, right?”
The room stayed silent. They had all seen Jay fly before, effortlessly, at much higher speeds and with far greater control.
Udhay’s smile faltered. “...Tough crowd,” he muttered under his breath.
Jay chuckled softly and stepped forward. “You’ve still got a long way to go, Udhay. For now, both of you should focus on adjusting to the stat boosts from the Essence Fruits and start syncing with the stats available through the Origin Sigils. I want you at least on par with Tier-3s before the Beta Program begins.”
Both Rownak and Udhay nodded in understanding.
Jay continued, this time addressing Esha, Udhay, and Rownak together.
“Since we won’t always be on Earth, we can’t protect our families around the clock. That’s why I’ve had MJ prepare living quarters in this underground base for our families and close ones. You can bring them here.”
He paused for a moment before adding, “If you think it’s too soon, you can bring them right before the System assimilation starts. I’ll make sure rooms are reserved for each of you and your family members.”
They all nodded. Udhay, despite his confidence, looked slightly uneasy.
His father being the Chief Minister of the state didn’t mean much anymore, not when even governments would struggle once the System assimilation began.
He exhaled and muttered, “Guess I’ll have to get my family down here before the monsters show up.”
It wasn’t just those in the room who were offered the same. The other bodyguards: Jon, Ravan, and the twins, Rahu and Kethu, were granted the same benefits so they could enter the Beta Program without worry.
Kay spoke up from the side. “We’ll take care of everything here, Brother. You just focus on the final tournament.”
Qew added with a confident smile, “We’ll be waiting for you to return with the ALPHA PRIME title.”
Jay shook his head lightly. “That’s only if everything goes smoothly. With the Bloodline Realm opening and those under a hundred years old from Universe-level hegemonies joining us, a lot could go wrong.”
Kay grew worried. “Those raised by such powerful hegemons will be incredibly strong and dangerous, won’t they? You have to be careful, Brother.”
Jay smiled reassuringly and patted his head. “I can hold my own. Besides, with time flowing differently inside the Bloodline Realm, I’ll have plenty of time to grow stronger.”
The tension eased, and they all sat down on the sofas, chatting casually. The atmosphere soon turned lively again, filled with laughter and light conversation.
Before long, it was time for Jay to return to the Trial World. He said his goodbyes before being teleported away.
Kay stayed where he was, still wearing a faintly worried look.
Qew walked up beside him and said, “You worry too much. You know how our brother always downplays how strong he’s become just so we don’t get discouraged.”
With her hands on her hips, she added confidently. “If you ask me, it’s those Universe-level prodigies who should be worried about him, not the other way around.”
