Ensnaring his Dark Moon-Chapter 259: Always more
Aleister knelt in front of her, ’’Say that again.’’
Esme blinked.
’’I am not this talkative. I cannot say all that again,’’ she stopped crying in astonishment, ’’You... Stand up first,’’ she frowned, ’’Your identity was never ordinary, to begin with. Now, it is even more special. How can you kneel like this?" she chastised him.
He cupped her face and nuzzled his nose with hers, ’’No matter who I am, what I am, for you, I will always be this. Always on my knees, always hooked around your little finger,’’ She looked at him with deeply as more tears rolled down her cheeks, ’’Always buried inside you,’’ he added in a conspiratorial tone.
She choked on her tears and hit his chest.
He smiled, ’’You are one of the only two people who can make me kneel.’’
’’Two?" Esme hiccupped as tears welled up in her eyes again, ’’Did you fall for someone else too?" She sobbed, ’’I won’t marry you if you get a mistress."
’’Who wants to marry you?’’ he rolled his eyes.
She hit his chest, ’’This is the second time you are rejecting me. The third time, I would run away from you...’’ she stopped speaking when his gaze deepened, ’’Who is the second person you want to kneel for, huh?" she changed the course of her words.
’’My little moon. Our daughter. She will be the other person I kneel for.’’
’’You... Who wants to have a daughter with you?" she glared at him as she hooked her arms around his neck.
’’You. Who else?" he held her tighter.
’’You won’t even marry me but you want me to give birth to a daughter. What do you take me for?"
’’My stubborn scandalous love affair,’’ Aleister shrugged.
Esme gasped, ’’I do not want you. Get lost. Hmph!"
’’What about our daughter?"
’’I would rather have a son who resembles you. Little Aleister. I do not get along with girls,’’ Esme glared at him when he laughed.
’’So, shall we get started now?’’ he whispered seductively.
’’I don’t want you,’’ she pursed her lips.
’’No?"
Esme pounced on him, hugging him hard as he moved from his kneeling position and sat back on the floor, leaning against the wall, ’’I love you,’’ she whispered.
’’More,’’ Aleister kissed her hair, moving her to his lap as he kissed her hair possessively, ’’Always more, Princess.’’
Esme pulled back to look at him, ’’I love you,’’ she repeated.
’’Say that again,’’ his gaze deepened.
’’I love you,’’ she smiled and moved on his lap as the pearls on her gown rolled down, ’’I love you.’’
He kissed the small mole above her lips, ’’Again.’’
’’I love you,’’ Esme smiled.
"I would not have it any other way. Trust me,’’ he whispered, leaning closer to her lips but she pressed her palm on his mouth.
’’We need to talk,’’ Esme cleared her throat. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
They had a lot to talk about but the reason why she stopped him was that somehow, she felt like she would not escape from him if they started something.
The memory of intimate times with him was still imprinted in her head and Esme knew there was not a day when he had not made her fall apart with his touches.
She did not know if she could take it right now when her mind was in a mess. What if she was not good? Many what-ifs filled her mind but she pushed them away and talked to him.
’’They said I would die...’’ she paused when he glared at her, ’’...that I would not be fine if I regain my memories. I am alive. What happened?’’
She remembered everything yesterday and when she slapped him, she did it because she was angry at him for scaring her like that by pretending to faint in the water. When she kissed him right after the slap, she did it because she missed him.
He was right. If not for her memories, she would never have taken the initiative to kiss him knowing that she had a fiance.
But with her memories, every other connection with any other man was void.
When Aleister was mentioned, no other man existed.
But she was worried about something else after she regained her memories. They said she would die then what happened?
She was waiting for that curse to latch to her soon after but there were no changes in her body.
She glanced at Aleister, ’’You know, I was even walking with light steps so I would fall too hard if death came suddenly.’’
Aleister narrowed his eyes.
Esme cleared her throat, ’’When I saw you with another woman, I felt very petty. I thought you would marry someone else and have their children if anything happened to me,’’ she pouted.
Aleister did not know whether to laugh or cry but looking at her as she acted spoiled in front of him, he did not have the heart to reprimand her over her accusations, ’’You might have divine powers, princess,’’ he told her, ’’I should have doubted it the moment you summoned hellfire that night and you somehow injured Marilyn.’’
Esme blinked, ’’Anyone can have divine powers?"
Aleister shook his head, ’’My turn to ask.’’
She poked his cheek as he pulled his closer in his arms, ’’You had your memories. You knew I was lying when I said there was someone in the bath. Why did you turn to leave?" he played with the long strands of her hair.
Esme blinked.
Aleister kissed her eyes, ’’What is it?"
’’I did not think you were lying,’’ Esme lowered her head, ’’I saw you smiling at her when she whispered something. I was at the end of the hallway then you both disappeared..’’ she stopped speaking when his grip on her waist tightened.
She tilted her head only to find a flash of hurt on his face, ’’Is that what you think of me?"
’’Not you. Me,’’ she cupped his face and kissed his forehead, ’’I thought you were growing sick of me and all the trouble I always came with. I know I was being silly but when I regained my memories, I realized how much I have hurt you again and again...’’
