Entangled in the Night: Unable to Escape Him-Chapter 159: Sienna, Do You Want Only Friends and Not Your Brother?
Seeing Silas walk out of the room, Caden was the first to rush up, grab him by the collar, and land a heavy punch right to his face.
"Silas, what did you do to Sienna?"
Silas got punched, but instead of getting angry, he lazily unbuttoned his pajamas.
Revealing ambiguous bite marks all over his body.
He smirked smugly, "Five years apart, Sienna couldn’t resist and slept with me."
Seeing that, everyone immediately understood what happened.
Caden’s veins bulged with fury as he gritted his teeth, "Silas, you beast, I swear I’ll kill you today."
Jett and Albie were just as furious, both rushing over to join in the attack on Silas.
Three against one.
Silas Prescott, usually invincible, now looked as powerless as a kid, taking their punches and kicks without fighting back.
Meanwhile, the corner of his mouth curled into an unreadable smile.
Sienna, half-asleep, heard the sounds of fighting.
She jolted awake and tried to hurry off the bed to see what was happening.
But her whole body ached as if she’d been run over by a truck.
Her legs simply refused to cooperate.
Sienna cursed Silas Prescott eight hundred times in her head.
Just then, she heard Silas calling for help by the door: "Sienna, save me."
Sienna forced herself up, hurriedly put on her clothes, and ran out.
Immediately, she saw Caden, Jett, and Albie all beating up Silas.
The always-impeccable Silas Prescott was now pitifully huddled in a corner, letting the three pummel him at will.
Sienna rushed in to stop them, "Enough! Stop it."
Seeing her appear, the three instantly halted, crowding around her in concern, "Chloe, are you okay?"
Sienna shook her head, "I’m fine. Why are you guys here?"
"We couldn’t reach you—we thought this psycho had locked you up. Chloe, come with us. If he tries anything, we’ll bash his skull in."
Seeing their anxious faces, Sienna felt something indescribable inside.
In her darkest hour, she was grateful to have found them.
But now, her identity was exposed, and there was no way to keep hiding it.
She knew Silas Prescott better than anyone.
She didn’t want any of her friends to end up like that senior before, crushed by Silas’s revenge.
She said, "It’s no use. No matter where I hide, Silas will find me. Rather than live in constant fear, I’d rather try to fix things between us—I want to bet it all, just once."
Bet she could find the root of Silas’s illness; bet that Silas could, for once, treat her like a normal person.
The stakes were huge—if she lost, it was for life—but there was no other way out.
Caden stepped up and gripped Sienna’s wrist, "Sienna, I won’t let this lunatic tie you up again. And don’t worry about causing me trouble. You, me, Chloe—we made a battlefield vow. If one of us is ever in trouble, the other two would risk everything to set her free. Did you forget?"
Hearing those words, Sienna’s eyes stung with tears.
Her voice went hoarse: "Caden, Chloe already sacrificed herself for me. I don’t want to drag you in too. Trust me, I’m not the same Sienna Paxton from five years ago—I’ll handle things with Silas."
"If you could really handle it, you wouldn’t have risked giving birth on the battlefield..."
He meant to say that if Sienna could’ve dealt with Silas, she wouldn’t have risked having a baby in the warzone.
But halfway through, Sienna cut him off: "That was five years ago. I’m not as weak now as I was then. I believe Silas can change, too."
Hearing them openly slander him, Silas’s eyes turned icy cold.
But the look vanished quickly.
He walked over to Sienna, took her hand, his voice rough and low.
"Sienna, it was three against one, I’m all beaten up. It hurts."
He spoke, pressing his head heavily onto her shoulder.
Both arms tightly wrapped around her waist.
Like a giant dog whining for attention.
Sienna glanced down at him, "They’re my closest friends. You’re not allowed to hurt them, or I’ll never forgive you."
Silas sneered inwardly.
He never believed men and women could truly just be friends. Anyone close to Sienna had an agenda.
Just like those seniors, back in the day.
But he didn’t say any of that now.
Instead, he put on a pitiful act, "Sienna, you only want good friends—you don’t want a boyfriend anymore?"
"If you ever try anything against them, I’ll really leave you."
Silas’s arms tightened in alarm, "I promise, I won’t touch them. Just don’t leave me, don’t throw me away like the rest—okay?" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
There was pleading in his voice.
Sienna could see that he was terrified of being abandoned by her again.
She wondered what Silas’s parents did to him all those years ago to make him so afraid of being left behind...
Sienna nudged his shoulder, "Back to the room. Let me treat your wounds."
"Okay, but my legs hurt so bad. You’ll have to help me walk."
He leaned all his weight onto Sienna.
Her legs were already weak; under his weight, her body involuntarily trembled.
She nearly collapsed to the floor.
Caden saw Silas acting this way and ground his teeth in rage.
He rushed over and yanked Silas off of Sienna, snapping coldly, "Your legs hurt, huh? I’ll help you."
Seeing this, Jett couldn’t help but warn, "Caden, careful or he’ll play the victim again."
He’d seen Silas’s manipulative games at the hospital, after all.
Caden snorted, "If he tries anything, I’ll break his damn leg."
Silas immediately shot Sienna a desperate look, "Sienna, save me."
Sienna ignored him and headed into the room.
The once pathetic Silas, now supported by Caden, suddenly kicked the back of Caden’s knees.
Caden’s legs buckled and he dropped to his knees on the floor.
A wicked smile curled on Silas’s lips, "Dr. Sinclair, just for hitting me a few times, no need to kneel and apologize."
Caden got up, biting his teeth in anger, "Silas, you faked all this, let us beat you just so Sienna would feel bad for you."
"Guess you’re not that dumb after all."
"You sly bastard—I’ll never let Sienna be with you."
Silas’s lips quirked up in triumph, "Too late. We’re already together."
He purposefully showed off the bite marks on his shoulder.
Leaning close to Caden’s ear, his tone edged with threat, "Sienna’s mine, now and forever. You’d better keep your distance. If you ever touch her again, I’ll chop off your hand."
He twisted hard enough that Caden yelped out in pain.
Sienna heard the commotion and immediately called out, "Silas, what are you doing?"
The dangerous look in Silas’s eyes vanished the moment he saw Sienna, replaced by tenderness.
"Just inviting your friends in for a drink."
